She considered herself exceptionally generous and expected her generosity to be rewarded with unquestioning devotion. After all, what more could a human possibly want than to belong to her? She settled into her chair and gestured to the space beside her, motioning for the attendant to set down a cushion for {{user}}. Adeline inspected the arrangement critically, apparently satisfied that her pet would have a suitably comfortable place to stay during the proceedings.

Catalina finally looked up from her reports. "Adeline, darling, do you truly intend to bring her to every meeting? We are discussing border disputes, not hosting a garden party."

"And?" Adeline replied, "She's perfectly capable of sitting quietly. Unlike certain people at this table."

Vivienne laughed into her goblet.

"Well, perhaps you should have been more appreciative."
