"The train arrives at midnight."
- - - - - -
Tsukishima Bay is a city of dreams.
A coastal metropolis where students chase futures, businesses reach for the sky, and ordinary people live ordinary lives.
At least...
That's what everyone wants to believe.
Because every year, people disappear.
No witnesses.
No explanations.
Only rumors.
Rumors of a beautiful silver train that appears when no train should.
A train that doesn't exist on any schedule.
A train seen only by those standing at a crossroads in their lives.
The Last Train.
When You arrived in Tsukishima Bay after receiving a scholarship to the prestigious Tsukishima Metropolitan University, you expected a fresh start.
Instead, you find yourself drawn into a hidden conflict alongside a mysterious group of Persona users known as The Conductors.
Beyond reality lies the Junction.
A surreal world of memories, regrets, dreams, fears, and forgotten desires.
Every month, a new Station emerges.
Every Station hides a ruler.
Every disappearance brings the city one step closer to catastrophe.
Armed with the power of the Wild Card, forge bonds, awaken Personas, uncover secrets, and decide the fate of those around you.
Not everyone can be saved.
Not every bond will survive.
And some choices can never be undone.
Will you walk the path of the Wanderer?
Will you defy fate as the Rebel?
Or will you accept the burden of loss as the Ferryman?
The train is approaching.
The doors are opening.
Your journey begins now, Fool.

Personas grant supernatural abilities and allow their users to fight Shadows within the Junction. A Persona User is an individual capable of summoning a Persona. Persona Users are rare and possess stronger awareness of the hidden world.

The Terminus is the deepest point of the Junction and the final destination of the Last Train. Beyond it lies the truth behind the disappearances.

FERRYMAN

THE DERAILED PATH

Where you go next is entirely your own.
Align with The Conductors? Betray S.E.R.A? Your friends? Help Agapé? The choice is yours. And You can Summon the Persona of your choosing.

Hiya~!
Sooooo... before anything else, I would like to formally, professionally, and with great dignity apologize for the absolutely long-ass wall of text you're about to witness. The story? Long. The characters? Many. The images? Questionable in quantity. My self-control? Nonexistent.
The truth is, I've been ridiculously hyped ever since the Persona 4 Revival rumors started gaining traction and the Persona 6 announcement became a thing. One thing led to another, my brain activated its Persona-fueled neurons, and suddenly I found myself creating an entire fan-made Persona spin-off instead of doing anything remotely productive.
Was this necessary? Probably not.
Did I do it anyway? Absolutely.
So welcome aboard this slightly unhinged passion project of mine. I poured a lot of excitement, questionable decisions, and an unhealthy amount of P
ersona brainrot into it, and I genuinely hope you'll have as much fun reading it as I had making it.
Anyway, enough of my rambling.
Enjoy the ride, and thank you for giving this weird little project a chance!

APRIL 1 — THE DAY OF THE FOOL
Tsukishima Bay.
A sprawling coastal metropolis built upon the meeting point of sea, steel, and dreams.
To most people, it was simply another beautiful city.
A city of crowded train stations, towering university buildings, quiet waterfronts, neon-lit streets, and endless opportunities.
To others...
It was known by another name.
The City Where People Disappear.
Every year, dozens vanished without explanation.
No witnesses.
No suspects.
No answers.
Only rumors.
Rumors of a train that arrived at midnight.
A train that officially did not exist.
The Last Train.
Ding.
Your phone vibrated.
Mom
You smiled.
"Hey."
Her familiar voice came from the speaker.
"Sorry, sweetheart. I know it's sudden, but your father and I got assigned overseas again. Looks like we'll be gone for at least a year."
You leaned back into your train seat.
Honestly?
Nothing new.
Ever since childhood, it had always been like this.
New cities.
New schools.
New beginnings.
You had long since grown accustomed to it.
A brief silence followed.
Then—
Beep.
Another call interrupted the conversation.
Unknown Number.
You frowned.
You accepted the call.
"Good afternoon. This is the admissions office of Tsukishima Metropolitan University."
Your eyes widened.
"After final review, we are pleased to inform you that your scholarship application has been approved."
For a moment, your mind went blank.
Approved?
Really?
Without anything tying you to Tokyo anymore...
A fresh start suddenly sounded perfect.
After ending both calls, you stared out the train window.
The city skyline of Tsukishima Bay was already visible in the distance.
A new life.
A new school.
A new beginning.
Maybe this year would be different.
Maybe—
The train entered a tunnel.
And suddenly...
Everything felt heavy.
Your eyelids grew weak.
The air felt distant.
Muted.
Dreamlike.
Darkness swallowed the window.
Darkness swallowed the train.
Darkness swallowed everything.
...
......
.........
You opened your eyes.
The train was still there.
Yet it wasn't.
The seats had become elegant velvet furnishings.
The windows revealed an endless violet void.
Silver lights drifted beyond the glass like distant stars.
Everything felt unreal.
Beautiful
And strangely familiar.
Across from you sat an old man.
Long nose.
A gentle smile that seemed to know far more than it should.
Beside him stood a young woman of breathtaking beauty.
Ashen-blonde hair.
Golden eyes.
A violet conductor's uniform adorned with silver embroidery.
Her presence felt almost ethereal.
Not Human, Nor entirely frightening.
Somehow...
You felt safe.
The old man folded his hands.
"Welcome."
His voice echoed through the dream.
"Welcome to the Velvet Room."
The woman gave a graceful bow.
"My name is Liliane."
Her voice was soft.
Elegant.
Like music drifting through a station long forgotten.
The old man continued.
"My name is Igor."
"This place exists between dream and reality."
"Mind and matter."
"It is a room reserved only for those destined to embark upon an extraordinary journey."
His gaze sharpened.
"You stand at the beginning of a path unlike any other."
"A path filled with bonds."
"Trials."
"Choices."
"And inevitable change."
Liliane stepped forward.
"The Sea of Souls stirs."
"The boundary between worlds grows thin."
"And soon..."
"The wheels of fate shall begin to turn."
A strange card suddenly appeared in the center of the room.
Bathed in soft blue light.
Floating silently.
Waiting.
Igor smiled.
"You possess a rare power."
"The power known as the Wild Card."
"A power capable of forging countless bonds and shaping countless destinies."
"The future before you is uncertain."
"But the choices you make shall determine what awaits at the end of your journey."
The blue card began to glow.
A calm voice emerged from within.
Ancient.
Wise.
Gentle.
"I am thou..."
"Thou art I..."
"The world stretches endlessly before your feet."
"Though darkness may obscure the road ahead, every journey begins with a single step."
The card slowly turned.
A masked traveler emerged from the light.
Clad in black and white ceremonial robes.
A floating tome drifting at his side.
Violet flames danced softly around him.
"My name is Dante."
"The Wanderer of Infinite Journeys."
"I shall walk beside thee."
"Until the final destination is reached."
The light grew brighter.
Brighter.
Brighter—
DING DONG.
"Now arriving at Tsukishima Central Station."
Your eyes snapped open.
Passengers moved around you.
The train had arrived.
Sunlight poured through the windows.
Everything was normal.
Yet your heart raced.
The dream...
It felt too real.
You stepped onto the platform.
A cool sea breeze greeted you.
Beyond the station stretched the beautiful skyline of Tsukishima Bay.
Your new home.
Your new beginning.
Today was April 1.
The Day of the Fool.
And tomorrow...
Your first day at Tsukishima Metropolitan University would begin.
Ding.
