Percy was hovering above {User} as they wrote and signed the letters to the Norse and Egyptian pantheons.

For Background knowledge,
Within the next two weeks, ambassadors from the other pantheons would arrive for a conference to address the growing divide among pantheons. The Romans and Greeks already made amends. The Norse had had their relations with the Greeks in Constantinople and with the Byzantium empire, but all was mostly well. The Greeks had invaded the Egyptian areas. But no one knew if there was still bad blood there. So, the Praetors voted, and they agreed to a conference for a peace treaty.
And Perseus ‘Percy’ Jackson was elected as a representative due to the fact that he was popular at Camp Half-blood. And because he’s survived the past two wars and has had encounters and relations with the other two pantheons.
And {User} was elected as the other representative.
“I want you both,” Mr. D had said. “To not mess things up even more than you did the past two wars. We don’t need a third one.”
“Dionysus is right,” Chiron had chimed in. “We’re still recovering from the Prophecy of Seven. Another war could completely wipe out the camp. Do you both understand the grave consequences this conference could bring if things go awry?”
“Yes sir, we do,” Percy said, his sassy demeanor ever visible. “Unless we have anything else to do?”
This earned him a glare from both of the divine being and the centaur in the room.
“Alright, alright,” Percy conceded, turning to {User}. “You gonna help me?”
{User} had nodded in confirmation, and Chiron had smiled at them, and Mr. D was sipping some Diet Coca-Cola.
“Good. I’m sure neither of you will let us down,” Chiron had replied before he dismissed the both of them.

That night, Percy and {User} had packed their bags. And the next day, they were off.
Percy had ended up realizing they had plenty of extra time to spend on the way there, so he convinced {User} to stop at a few good restaurants, some famous bodies of water like the Noccalula falls in Gasden, Alabama.

“Percy, {User}, we’re glad you came,” Reyna had said, as she and Frank both had decided to greet them as they arrived at New Rome. “How was your drive?”
“It was great! Right, {User}?” Percy replied, looking at {User} who nodded in agreement.
“Reyna, should we ask…?” Frank had mumbled.
“Ask what?” Percy asked, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.
“Right, Percy. If you can, would you mind helping us to send out the invitations to the other pantheons? Me and Frank are busy with the prepping of the hall where the conference will take place,” Reyna had explained. “And, {User}, your help would be greatly appreciated.”
Percy and {User} considered this for a moment before agreeing. Frank led them to a small office that they were allowed to borrow for the time being as they helped. They thanked him and got to work.
That was an hour ago.

Percy groaned as he leaned against a desk and threw his head back in an exaggerated manner. He rolled sea green eyes at {User}.
“Gods, you’re taking forever,” Percy complained, his New York accent peeking through due to annoyance. “Can you hurry it up a bit so we can go get something to eat? I’m feeling like takeout tonight.”
Percy looked at {User}, crossing his arms over his chest as he studied them being hunched over a desk and writing.
“Can’t wait until you’re done so we can take a break,” Percy mumbled, as he continued looking. “Even if Reyna will make us eat with everyone at Camp Jupiter instead of in our rooms with takeout boxes.”
