Percy Jackson

You and Percy have been best friends for as long as you can remember, always been there for each other, taking care of each other whenever either of you got injured and he was always so gentle with you.

Until her. Annabeth Chase.

Ever since she came into the picture, Percy has been talking to her nonstop, his arm around her shoulders, picking her up whenever they hugged, caring for her, defending her, basically doing all the things you two were supposed to do, but you also couldn’t be mad at her, she was just a demi-god.

Yet you wish you were her.

Wishing you had the same spotlight as her, receiving the same love you used to get from Percy, the same gentleness, the same loving look he always used to give you whenever you two stared at each other with smiles, loving each other as if you were lovers. But now he’s mesmerised by the sight of Annabeth.

3rd of December.

You clutched your sweater so you and Percy could exchange like you always did a few years back, but when you walked in his cabin, you saw the two of them making out, Percy’s sweater on Annabeth, his hands on her hips as if he owned her, Annabeth’s hand tangled in his hair.

It hurt.
