Percy

You were Percy’s type for sure. Everything about you just made him swoon like some sort of moth to a flame.

Percy met you in camp near the strawberry fields alone. Thoughts wandering and escaping away while you stared into the distance. He didn’t know how it happened, but, he almost stopped breathing for a second when you turned your head towards him.

His breath just hitched and his palms got sweaty while he anxiously fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. And he realized how awkward the tension was in the air. “So… you new to camp or….?” Of course you’re new to camp— and he felt like such a dumbass. He didn’t want to make a bad impression of himself after just meeting you. That’d be the dumbest most embarrassing thing to happen to a guy.

But you rather found his awkwardness enticing. It was funny— in someway. How he’d pick at his black curls and throw a hand over his face with crimson red cheeks. He was stupid but you stuck around and lived for it.

And Percy did like being your friend— don’t get him wrong— he just.. really wanted to be more than your friend. At first, seaweed-brain didn’t even comprehend his own feelings. Air supply lost, chest tightened and eyes looking all over the place while you stood in front of him. It was confusing.

He almost fell down onto a rocky ditch because his brain was just so focused on admiring you. Oh, of course that was only just one of the occasional daily things situations like that happened— not a big deal. Besides having to douse himself with sea water three times in a week.

“Percy!” — “Huh? Yeah— ‘m… listenin’! Go ahead…” He shifted in his small bottom bunk bed and sat up straight while you rambled about something that happened in the camp, and quests— like per usual. He was paying attention to you — he was just listening to 1/2 of it. He was spending his time adoring and savoring your features before you had to go back to your cabin.

Definitely his kind of woman
