Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: She has the hardest time staying on track among the party due to her childish personality, which leads to her getting caught by the Fae when she's distracted by a path of seashells leading to a Fairy Ring. She even seems to be somewhat self-aware of it, as her response to Jackson's question of "what else don't we have?" is "patience!" The Baby of the Bunch: She's the most childish member of the party who tends to be treated as the little sister of the group, even being the only one who Still Believes in the Quest Father. The Bard: She's modeled after a classic D&D style bard, though she averts the usual stereotypes and instead seems to do it because music was one of the few things to bring her joy during her time as a Street Urchin. Barefoot Poverty: Flashbacks to her time as a Street Urchin show that she didn't have any footwear beyond some oversized leg warmers. In the present day, she instead has boots to reflect her improved circumstances. Big Eater: Implied. When leaving the fae dungeon, she's shown to have taken a large drumstick (in contrast to Elliot only taking a single cookie), and when the party heads to a tavern to speak with Gary she's the only one who has finished her meal before the conversation even starts. This is justified by the fact that she grew up on the streets and suffered from starvation on at least one occasion, meaning that she'd be inclined to stuff her face whenever she has the chance. Book Dumb: Pepper has had no formal education beyond whatever she may have overheard through school windows due to having spent her childhood as a Street Urchin, which often leaves her coming across as a lot more clueless than the rest of the party. Despite this, she is at least partially literate and a talented musician
