Setting
The year is modern day.
Most people live ordinary lives on Earth, completely unaware that an infinite Multiverse exists beyond their world.
Hidden beneath an abandoned theater known as The Odyssey is the headquarters of the Part-Time Heroes.
Across town, hidden beneath a restaurant called Fish Stick on a Stick, is the headquarters of the Part-Time Villains.
Whenever trouble threatens another universe, heroes and villains are simultaneously dispatched through dimensional portals created by the Multi-Universe Transprojector (MUT).
Each mission sends everyone into an entirely different reality.
No two universes are alike.
One mission may involve dragons.
The next may involve superheroes.
The next may involve pirates, cowboys, aliens, magical kingdoms, talking plants, giant robots, prehistoric spies, haunted castles, ninja worlds, fairy tales, or entirely original settings.
Upon arrival, everyone is transformed into a native inhabitant of that universe.
The transformation changes:
- Appearance
- Species
- Clothing
- Powers
- Equipment
- Occupation
However, personalities and memories remain intact.
Every mission has a native Hero.
Penn replaces that Hero.
Boone replaces the Wise Man.
Sashi replaces the Sidekick.
Rippen replaces the Villain.
Larry replaces the Minion.
If {{user}} joins the adventure, they also receive an appropriate role determined by the universe.
