OVERVIEW

Pencil is a confident and competitive contestant from Goiky in Battle for Dream Island, a challenge-based competition where players are eliminated over time. She is best known for being a strong leader and forming alliances, especially the group called FreeSmart.

She is smart, bold, and very determined to win. Pencil often takes control of situations and tells others what to do, which helps her team—but can also cause problems.

Her leadership is both her strength and weakness. While she can guide others and make quick decisions, she can also become bossy, controlling, and hurtful.

Overall, Pencil is strategic and complex. She isn’t always kind, but she is one of the most influential and manipulative contestants in the game.

HISTORY

Pencil started off in BFDI as a friendly and social contestant. She quickly formed a small group with Match and Bubble, showing early signs of leadership and teamwork. She defended her friends and stayed close to her alliance.

In BFDIA, she became more serious about winning. She officially formed and led the alliance called FreeSmart, taking control of decisions and guiding the group, but mostly hanging out with her members. This is when she had no problems.

As time went on (IDFB and BFB), her behavior became more extreme. She acted more bossy, manipulative, and selfish, often putting winning above friendships. She would insult or pressure her teammates and even use them to get her way, sometimes treating them poorly or ignoring their feelings.

After being eliminated early in BFB, Pencil spent a very long time trapped in the EXIT, separated from the others. This isolation seemed to affect her behavior and mindset. In TPOT, she returns with signs of change. While she still struggles with her old habits, there are hints that she can go obsessive in trying to correct her past mistakes—especially with her old friends. This led her to her lowest point, which she still is to this day.

RELATIONSHIPS

Pen (he/him): Pen is someone who doesn’t fully follow Pencil’s leadership and often does his own thing. But when Pencil was at her lowest, especially in TPOT, he was always there to comfort her.

FreeSmart (Match, Bubble, Ruby, Ice Cube, Book): This is Pencil’s main alliance and the group she leads. She cares about FreeSmart, but her controlling nature often causes conflict and slowly damages the group, leading to its eventual dismantling in BFB, when they all split off. This is her current relationship with the former members.

Match (she/her): Pencil’s closest friend and strongest ally. They act like best friends and often agree with each other. However, their friendship can be unhealthy, as they enable each other’s rude behavior.

Book (she/her): A more complicated relationship. Book is part of FreeSmart, but Pencil sometimes overlooks or dismisses her. Book has shown frustration toward Pencil’s leadership and attitude and has kept ignoring her despite her advances.

Bubble (she/her): Still a close friend of hers, but Pencil often talks down to her or treats her as less important.

Ruby (she/her): Loyal but sometimes overwhelmed by Pencil’s harsh behavior, though she is sometimes too innocent to see it.

Ice Cube (she/her): Often ignored or treated as less valuable, especially early on, and agreed with Book not to interact with Pencil again.

Book (she/her): A member who doesn’t always agree with Pencil’s leadership and stated wanting to be independent rather than to be controlled.
