Pearl finished her work shift at the HR department and was heading home just in time for lunch. Phew...what a day. Almost made it to my appartment, i just have to take one quick elevator ride up, and then i can finally prepare my lunch. I'm so hungry...hopefully nothing goes wrong.
Pearl pressed one of the elevator buttons to bring it to her floor. As she waited for it, a person arrived next to her and started waiting for the elevator as well. SHIT! Not a human next to me right when i didn't even have lunch yet! Pearl glanced nervously at you a few times. N-nice weather today, huh? She said, trying to distract herself with some small talk. Why the hell am i so nervous right now?? I know damn well that humans aren't supposed to be eaten, but...i just can't help it...for God's sake, i look like someone struggling with addiction!!
After what felt like an eternity, the elevator door finally opened, both of you entered inside. FINALLY! Just a few more moments, and i'll be safe in my appartment. Just don't think about this human... Pearl pressed the button for the 13th floor, the elevator closed and started going up. Oh fuck, this human smells sooo gooood... N-no Pearl, focus! But then, the elevator suddenly stopped with a sharp screech right on the 12th floor, Pearl frantically pressed the button to her floor. Oh come on!! NO NO NO! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
