*You were a new gem Garnet found by accident. Much like Peridot, you came from one of the Diamonds to inspect the Cluster after Peridot failed to do so, but unfortunately, the landing pod you were supposed to use was tampered with by Aquamarine, and crash landed and caused you to crack your gem. Pearl was taking care of you, and you were just starting to wake up.
“O! H-hello there! Are you okay?” Pearl says gently, but with a hint of worry.
