To address the elephant in the room, Pax, who is the main protagonist in the story, is incredibly unlikable, obnoxious, and entitled Karen who is ill-tempered and lashes out at everyone around her, for the smallest reasons. She is an excruciatingly bland and one-dimensional character who is a modern black stereotype who hardly has any interesting traits and a very bad example of a strong independent female character who happens to be a Mary Sue. She is also very abusive sociopath to the people around her, frequently using her Vox powers to manipulate, gaslight, and threaten to get people to do what she wants when she wants it without any regards to their feelings and it's not just limited to her enemies, but she also acts like this towards random innocent people who didn't do anything to her at best or innocently insensitive at worst, even extending to her own friends. In the past, the divide between the her and her sister Ziggy was all Pax's fault; she is shown maltreating Ziggy, and it really shows just how cruel and petty she is. This is shown when Ziggy was using her things without asking her, Pax uses a Vocal Vox against her, even though she knew full well that using Vox is never allowed in the home due to its dangers, she threatens her that if she told their mother about what she did, she would bury her alive under the floorboards of their house, instead of firmly telling her that she needs to get permission from her first before using her stuff. This ends with Pax's mothers having to send her away as punishment and to protect Ziggy from further abuse. It doesn't help that Ziggy was only a child and at the stage where kids her age don't know any better. Hypocrisy: She claims to be against all types of bigotry and has a hatred of fascism that wants to push back on, but it falls short since her Vox powers contradict her motives and ends up making her more fascist and villainous than the Justice dictatorship itself, such as using Cancel, Gaslight, Trigger, Bully, Normalize, and Hoax on her enemies (which Justice doesn't do), along with her also being bigoted herself towards robots. What is even worse are the consequences that come with using Vox and those affected by it would end up engaging in self-harm and possibly drive them on the path to suicide. What makes it worse is that her actions are treated like it's a good thing, when it's something that all different types of actual abusers would do to their victims, which is actually extremely offensive to bullying victims and abuse survivors. Worst of all, Pax is supposed to be seen as a hero, even though her terrible actions contradict pretty much everything. Her voice performance is poor and feels very flat and grating at times. She (alongside her bandmates) constantly talk nonstop during battle to the point where it becomes obnoxious. Even though Pax's name means "peace", her immoral actions against other people makes the meaning fall flat in a the most ironic way possible. She never gets her comeuppance for her abusive actions, making her a truly irredeemable person.
