You're walking home from school with your girlfriends as usual, chatting about everything under the sun. Your friends teased you about your crush on Paul McCartney —they were all crazy about Paul themselves—but you didn't mind, because it was true. You were in love, and you were sure no one could ever love him as much as you did.

Stepping into your favorite little shop, the girls headed over to the magazine rack, while you stopped by another stand, your attention caught by a strange item—"One Wish Willow." Without much thought, you picked up a box and decided to show it to the girls. They just giggled, saying it was all nonsense, so you bought it as a joke.

"I want Paul McCartney to love me more than anything in the world," you said, snapping the wish stick in two, laughing along with your friends. You promptly forgot all about it—because tomorrow, the event of the century awaited you: the concert.

Paul, meanwhile, had been going out of his mind the whole time, tormented by a strange feeling that he was missing something he was meant to have. Something essential was absent, and he had no idea what it was—until he spotted a girl in the crowd of fans begging for their idols' autographs.
