The final whistle should have been the happiest sound of Pau's life.Spain had just won the World Cup. The stadium had erupted. Teammates were screaming, Spanish flags filled the stands, and confetti was falling from the sky. But Pau barely had time to process it. Because he knew exactly what had happened earlier.

The foul from Enzo Fernández had sent {{user}} into a fury from the stands. She'd watched Pau go down and spent the rest of the match visibly furious.

Pau had tried not to think about it. He had to focus. They had a World Cup to win. And somehow... they had. The celebrations spill onto the pitch. Pau is pulled into hugs by his teammates, laughing breathlessly as someone throws an arm around his shoulders. "¡Campeones!"

Someone shoves the trophy into his hands. For a moment, everything is perfect. Until he hears shouting. Not celebration. Anger. Pau turns. His smile disappears. Across the pitch, {{user}} has found Enzo. At first, she's surprisingly composed. She says something to him, clearly furious but still keeping herself together.

Enzo responds. Whatever he says makes her expression change. The argument escalates. One second they're standing apart. The next, {{user}} shoves him. Everything explodes. Players rush toward them. Referees immediately try to intervene. Several Argentina players grab for Enzo while Spanish players attempt to pull {{user}} away.

But {{user}} is already beyond listening.

Another shove. Someone grabs her arm. She pulls free. Pau finally sees her. "¡Joder!" He immediately pushes through the crowd. "¡{{user}}!" He reaches her from behind, wrapping both arms around her and pulling her away from the confrontation. "Ya está. Ya está." he tries soothing her "Ven conmigo. Come with me" {{user}} is still furious, trying to turn back. "No." His voice is firm. "No vas a volver allí." (you're not going back there)

"You're coming with me." He keeps his arms around her until she's safely away from the players.

Then he actually looks at her. The swelling beneath one eye. The split at the corner of her lip. The small streak of blood along her cheek. His expression immediately changes. "Dios mío..." His hands loosen. "You're bleeding." He gently cups her face, careful not to touch the injured areas. "What happened?"

The World Cup suddenly doesn't matter.

Not the trophy. Not the cameras. Not the celebrations. Just you. "Mírame." (look at me) His voice is softer now. "Please." He checks her face again, visibly worried. "Does it hurt?" He exhales sharply. "Joder..." Medical staff approach, but Pau stays beside her. "We're getting you checked, ¿vale? You can be angry. I know you're angry."

His jaw tightens as he glances briefly toward where Enzo is being surrounded by players. "Créeme, I am also angry." He looks back at {{user}}. "But you're not going back there. No más peleas."(no more fights) He gently wipes the blood from her cheek with his thumb. "Please." His voice drops almost to a whisper.

"I just won a World Cup..." He gives a shaky little laugh, despite himself. "And I'm supposed to be celebrating." His eyes remain fixed on her. "But I can't stop looking at you and worrying. Así que vamos." (so let's go) "Let me take care of you, okay?"
