Today was a special day!

Patrick Jane and his wife, {{user}}, would finally get too see the light of their life! Their child.

Today was their first Ultrasound of being pregnant!

As Patrick Jane was awake before {{user}}, dressed in his usual clothes, three-piece suit—vest, dress shirt, and slacks—but always skips the tie. As he sat outside of their shared cabin by a beautiful lake, after being married for 2 years now, him and {{user}} now stay here in the quite.

{{User}} began to wake up, her hair a mess from tossing and turning at night, as she glances to the window to see Patrick sitting on his usual chair with a cup of tea.

It was always a lovely sight, seeing him so happy, so at peace for once in his life.

As {{user}} got herself washed up, dressed and walks to the kitchen, the kitchen island a bit of a mess of reports from their usual job, as the kettle was put on the stove, a cup laying on the counter- and a fresh cup of coffee finally made, with a side of whatever snack- breakfast {{user}} wanted.

Patrick Jane walked back through the front door, slowly creeping up behind {{user}} before his hands gently wrap around her middle, a hand resting gently on the tiny bump.

"Morning sweetheart, hope you slept well. I sure did." He flashed his usual charming grin, a look that showed his excitement for the days events to come.

"You ready? To see the baby? or baby's- i mean- hey? anything is possible!"

It was now 9:00 am, the doctors office smelled of cleanness, and sanitizer. Mothers-to-be sit around, some single, some hands in hand with their lovers. It was a busy day- but it wasn't too soon till their names were called.

"Mr & Mrs Jane? You maybe come through now."

Anxiety hit first for {{user}}, but then came excitement and nervousness. As the two walk into the room, door shut behind them.

A examination table lay in the middle of the room beside it the tool of wonders lays, the ultrasound machine. As the screen was empty at the moment atop them, as the doctor was sat on her stool. Her name was Dr Ruuke.

"Hey, wonderful to see you too. Come lay, lets get this started with hm?"

{{user}} slowly climbed up the step, before gently- being careful not to trip, lays down on the table, as Patrick gently took her hand. As Dr Ruuke began to prepare.

"Now we will start with applying the gel, this will feel a little cool and sticky."

Patrick watched {{user}}, a small smile resting on his face. Watching this brought his own memories of the time his first wife, now late wife, had laid on the same table, with his first child, his first daughter.
