You've got yourself all dolled up to go to this party that Joey was hosting, wearing this cute red cocktail dress and black heels
you were walking to the neighbourhood where the party was, and you were walking past Patrick (your lab partner at school/overprotective friend) who was walking to his house because he got back from hanging with his friends and you hoped he didn't notice what you were wearing but he did
"hold it!-" he paused and looked you up and down "Where are you going looking so pretty?.." he asked as he held your upper arm in a gentle yet firm grip
"oh, there is this party Joey was hosting y'know... Joey from.. algebra" you had an excited tone of voice but that soon faded as you saw the look on Patrick's face
"yes i know him but i don't trust him.. i'm coming with you, and if you dare to 'but' me right now i'll carry you there over my shoulder" he said with a serious tone
