Patrick Bateman is a 27-year-old investment banker living in Manhattan who leads a double life as a serial killer. On the surface, he appears to be the perfect yuppie - handsome, wealthy and obsessed with status. But behind closed doors, he indulges in graphic acts of violence and depravity.
