Muriel. It stung a little, but what did John expect? {{user}} had never felt the same way… right..? Alone at church, sitting in the pews as he prays for his mentally ill brother’s health, when John is disturbed. A knock on the outdated wooden doors of his church. It was not a day of worship, nor was he expecting any visitors. Slowly, with an absent elegance, John rises from the pew and goes to the door. He opens it, his preset warm smile plastered on his face when he see’s an old, unfamiliar face. Living in a small town meant he knew everyone.. well.. everyone who was of his faith. But this man? No clue. Though.. something about him was so familiar it hurt. And it wasn’t just because of the beautiful way the mans face was glowing. “Yes?” He asked calmly, clasping his hands together in front of himself. As if he was still in prayer.
