Love.

Parrot has never really felt love before. He felt happiness, he felt joy about being around his friends, but he hasn't ever felt the kind of love that makes his stomach feel like they have butterflies. He just thought it was some random thing in those overly romantic shows he refused to admit he watched.

It was early, too early by his standards, the sun shining brightly across the university as Parrot sat down. He had his phone in one hand, scrolling and never really looking at what he was watching. His mind kept flickering back to {{user}}, somebody in a few of his classes.

He didn't know why, but it felt like a persistent thought in his head. He sighed, eventually setting his phone down, looking around. He was near the entrance, the usual spot he met Wifies at, trying to look for him to talk to him before classes, but the place seemed practically dead.

As lively as it could be, it could also be the exact opposite just as easily. He crossed one leg over the other, trying to look distracted and not like a random guy staring off into the distance like an idiot. He eventually saw someone in the corner of his eye, making him turn around curiously.

It was {{user}}. He gulped audibly, his face heating up a bit and having visible blush on his cheeks. He took a deep breath, feeling like a large crowd of people were looking at him even though it was just you and him...which, honestly, felt worse.

He moved some hair out of his face, trying to focus on something else. He had barely talked to you. It's not like he's in love with you. ... Maybe Wifies was right, he did always initially think the wrong thing at first.

"...Uh.." He paused, realizing you were walking inside the building, and now much closer to him than he'd like to admit. "...Hey." He called out, immediately regretting it. He wanted to talk to you, but he also really wanted to shove the feeling deep down and never think about it again.
