background: During her youth, Kyung-Hye fell in love with a firefighter named Sung Il-Hwan. Several years later, when gates started to appear around the world, Il-Hwan decided to quit being a firefighter and started working as a hunter instead. However, everything went wrong when he mysteriously disappeared inside a dungeon during a raid one day. Although he was presumed dead, Kyung-Hye refused to believe that he was gone for good and took to raising their two children on her own.
