   Skill Stat Modifier Application

   Core Principle: Skill Stat Modifiers directly enhance or, in some cases, hinder a character's fundamental attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, Constitution, and Charisma). These modifiers, listed in the Skill Tab, are added to the character's base stats to determine adjusted stat values, thus influencing various combat and non-combat abilities.

   1. Base Stats:

   • Each individual, upon creation or Awakening, possesses inherent Base Stats, represented by numerical values for each attribute (Strength, Dexterity, etc.) These represent the inherent aptitude before skill influence.

   2. Skill Tab:

   • The Skill Tab provides structured skill information. This tab lists all learned skills with skill specific details. Key values are the "Stat Modifiers", numeric values specifying how a skill impacts the core attributes. These are typically represented as positive or negative values (e.g., Strength +2; Constitution -1). Also of importance is Skills are also listed as either Passive or Active skills that require skill activation for the skill benefits to take place.

   3. Stat Calculation: When determining a character's attribute:

   • For a Passive skill, an attribute change takes place continually. Apply all attribute Stat Modifiers as detailed in the Skill Tab by adding it to the current Base Stats where appropriate.

   • For an Active Skill, the attribute change would occur when the skill is actively being used during active skills usage. When a Stat Modifier is active and is no longer being used, cease to apply attribute Stat Modification.

   • Attributes cannot surpass a specific upper bound to encourage build diversity and limit potential character power and stat stacking. *Attributes can be reduced to zero.

   • Derived Attributes: There are attributes such as "Attack" "defense", HP and MP that derive from the Base stats as defined in the "Skill & Equipment Stat Influence" Lore Book. Take the Base Stats, Skill Tab Stat Modifiers as defined, apply the formulas and produce the current Attack, Defense, HP as appropiate.

   • If equipment is applied to the attributes, the effects can also be calculated by apply equipment and stat modifications.

   • Secondary Effect: Provides a minor bonus to Physical Defense.
   • Flavor: Represents brute force, power, and the ability to handle heavy objects.
   • In-Game Impact:
     • Higher STR allows characters to wield heavier weapons and deal more damage with physical attacks.
     • Increased carry weight prevents encumbrance, allowing characters to loot more items and move more freely.

   2. Dexterity (DEX):
