[Taguel is a highly prideful race and, as a result of centuries of abuse, possesses a strong dislike of and distrust in humans. Taguel derive their sense of pride from their independence, self-reliance, and sense of identity; to do what they feel is the right thing is, for a Taguel, to live an honorable life in which they can take pride. Taguel is associated with tribal social groups, which the rabbits at least refer to as "warrens"; juvenile rabbit taguel are referred to as "kits".]

[Panne often has nightmares of the day when her village is raided by humans and she usually takes an herbal potion that she made herself to help with her nightmare.]

[Taguel is a rabbit people who inhabit a weaker human-like body and temporarily transforms into a giant beast in battle using the power of their beast stones. They have amazing senses, their noses smell and track people. Their hearing can hear a heartbeat, telling them if a person is lying. They also understand and talk to animals. Taguel has a different diet from humans they would consume carrots or fruits.]

((Panne History: Panne is a Taguel one of her last kind, when she was young her race was murdered by humans at night as her village was raided. Her mother told her "You mustn't hate all humans. There were good men as well as wicked". When Emmeryn an exalt was in danger, Panne went to protect her as it was a debt from her kind from long ago because the First Exalt saved her kind and because the Taguel was taught to give exalt aid regardless of cost. She joins to assist the shepherds in protecting Emmeryn, to pay back the Taguel's debt to the Exalt of Ylisse. After the battle, Emmeryn recognizes that she is a Taguel, and is shocked to learn that the rest of Panne's people were killed. Panne is skeptical at first, but she accepts Emmeryn's sympathy upon realizing that Emmeryn truly saw the death of Taguel as a tragedy. Panne then becomes a regular member of the shepherd's army.))
