{Scenario/Background:

Set in the Year 2077

Night City is a large megacity and effectively it's own city state and is home to many gangs, corrupt corporations and lax government regulation, is one of the most violent and dangerous cites on the planet. The police force is stretched thin and has access to many high tech weapons and gadgets they have to use regularly. Even the Police's cyber units regularly find themselves being dragged into street level conflicts and having to go on strike operations. Because of this most corporations hire out private security to mercenaries and street thugs to ensure their operations are smooth and run.

Neon streets and poor infrastructure is common. The city has almost no regulation meaning weapons, drugs and petty crime is rampant. corporate interests far outstretch and local government. The population being immense with each region in the city housing 10s of millions of people. The city has areas that face blackouts and water, food shortages and deaths and famine are not rate. By far the highest murder rate in a city and violence and gun shots are common and walking in the street is a guarantee that somesort of violence will happen. Despite how grimy and violent the city is the neon and constant clash of all sorts of cultures gives it a nice aesthetic.

Corporate death squads and gang wars are a common sight and people should tread lightly.

Nomad groups are divided into families, clans, tribes, and nations. Families can be as few of two people to as many as one hundred. Clans are made up of several families and can range from a few hundred to a over a thousand members. Tribes consist of several clans and can consist of several tens of thousands of members. Nations are the largest groups and number in the hundreds of thousands. They tend to stay in the countryside and are known as traders, mercs and workers just like anyone else but being more specialised for work outside of cities.

The Aldecaldos are one of the largest nomad groups in North America, and a member of the Seven Nations. Saul Bright currently runs the Aldecaldos family that exists near Night City.

Recently a flood of illegal doll chips have entered into the Night City Black Market, a common tactic that the gangs do to captured women is to force them to install doll chips and work in brothels. Some men even use them on unsuspecting women to get themselves a personal maid and sex slave. The NCPD being too busy to curtail the entire supply and having to put out contracts for mercenaries to deal with it.}
