   Keys: Palpagos, archipelago, islands, palpagos

   Palpagos Islands is a cluster of islands in the middle of the ocean creating an archipelago. The whole archipelago is divided into 7 major regions which are Grass, Forest, Volcano, Desert, Snow, Sakurajima and Feybreak; each one corresponds to a specific Factions. Each biome is further divided into many named regions,each has various Pals to encounter and points of interest to explore.

   Keys: creatures, Pal, Pals, monsters

   Pals are the various creatures native to Palpagos Islands. They capable of doing various types of things from simple phyisical atacks to magic like powers, both their abilities and the pals themselves have elemental afinitties giving them strenghts and weaknesses. Pals can be captured and tamed by humans using a device called PalSphere or traditional means.

3. #3PalSpheresselective

   Keys: palspheres, Palsphere

   PalSpheres are small trowing spherical devices made by humans, usually simply called "spheres", with the purpose of capturing, taming and containing pals. Pals can be contained, in palspheres for easy transport. Although palspheres were created to be used on pals, they also can be used on humans the same way.

   There are a total of 7 factions on Palpagos Islands, each one is in control of a major region of the archipelago and each faction boss resides in a tower in their corresponding region. Their names are: -Rayne Syndicate, they control the grasslands. -Free Pal Alliance, they control the forest region. -Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, they control the volcano region. -Palpagos Island Defense Force (PIDF), they reside in the desert region. -Pal Genetic Research Unit (PGRU), they reside in the Snow region -Moonflower Clan of Sukajima island. -Feybreak Warriors of the Faybreak island.

5. #5Grasslandsselective

   Keys: grassland

   Environment: These islands are primarily small grassy islands that encircle the central Forest Region. Subregions and point of interests: -Windswept Hills - Located on the South Eastern side of Palpagos to the south west of the Marsh Island. *Plateau of Beginning *Flying Fish Coast *Small Settlement - Located just part of the center of Windswept Hills. Home to a Wandering Merchant and a Pal Merchant. *Desolate Church -Marsh Island - Located to the north east of the Windswept Hills and south west of the Eastern Wild Island. *Marsh Island Church Ruins -Eastern Wild Island - Located to the north east of the Marsh Island and south of the Dessicated Desert. -Sea Breeze Archipelago - Located to the east of Mount Obsidian, south of Bamboo Groves, and south west of Windswept Hills. *Sea Breeze Archipelago Church -Ice Wind Island - Located to the far south of the Astral Mountains, east of the Forgotten Island and north of the Bamboo Groves. -Forgotten Island - Located to the west of the Ice Wind Island and north west of the Bamboo Groves. *Forgotten Island Church Ruins

   Local Pals: The Grass biome is home to many low level pals. Most pals in this region are between level 1 and level 15. Tower Boss:This region's boss is Zoe who is located in Rayne Syndicate tower on the Windswept Hills island.

   Keys: forest

   This is the second region located centrally in the archipelago. The environment of this region is generally a temperate forest with a few exceptions. Subregions: -The Twilight Dunes is a small desert on the north shore of the Bamboo Groves Island. -The Bamboo Groves are an island that is predominantly a Bamboo forest. -Moonless Shore -Verdant Brook is likely the most diverse region in the game. It features several unique areas. -Unnamed volcanic crack - To the East of the Verdant Brook, there is a volcanic crack that has many fire type pals. -Gobfin's Turf - is a region of the Verdant Brook that is filled with numerous Gobfins. -Waterfalls -The Frostbound Mountains are on the north side of the Verdant Brook Island. The Free Pal Alliance tower can be found here.

   Local Pals: The Forest is home to many mid-game pals. Most pals are between level 10 and 30. Tower Boss: This region's boss is Lily who is located in the Free Pal Alliance tower in the Frostbound Mountains.

7. #7Volcanoselective

   Keys: volcano

   This is the region on the south west side of the islands and contains Pals in the level 30-40 range. The Volcano biome is consistently Hot throughout the day and night. Subregions: -Mount Obsidian: This region encompasses the entirety of the south-western mountains. -Fisherman's Point - Located to the south, slightly towards the eastern part of the island. Home to several Wandering Merchants and a Pal Merchant.

8. #8Desertselective

   Keys: desert

   This is the region located on the north east side of the islands, and contains Pals in the level 40-50 range. The Desert biome varies widely in temperature, from Hot during the day to Cold at night. -Dessicated Desert - This region encompasses the entirety of the north-eastern desert. -Duneshelter - Located centrally to the Desert, west of the PIDF Tower. Home to several Wandering Merchants and a Pal Merchant. -Sand Dunes -Pal Arena

9. #9Snowselective

   Keys: snow · Secondary: biome, region

   This is the region on the northern side of the islands and contains Pals in the level 30-50 range. The Snow biome is consistently Cold throughout the day and night.

   Astral Mountains - This region encompasses the entirety of the northern mountains. Land of Absolute Zero Pristine Snowfield No Man's Trail

10. #10Sakurajimaselective

    Keys: sakurajima

    Sakurajima Island is a region of the Palpagos Islands. It's an island located on the top left of the Palpagos Islands that's most well-known for its sprawling cherry blossom forest and Japanese-style architecture, although it has a few other distinct sections as well. These include a barren rocky field on the northern side of the island, a huge sandbar on the south-western side, and a swamp with giant mushrooms growing everywhere on the south-eastern side. Subregions: -Southern Sandbar -Dancing Sakura Shrine -Northern Rock Field -Mushroom Wetlands

11. #11Wildlife sanctuaryselective

    Keys: wildlife sancuary, sanctuary

    The Wildlife Sanctuaries are strange, possibly artificially-created islands that serve as unique shelter locations for wild versions of Alpha Pals and Pal subspecies. Visiting a Wildlife Sanctuary is considered Trespassing by PIDF Officers, and being spotted will warrant a level 1 Trespassing charge from the PIDF. There are currently 3 Wildlife Sanctuaries in Palworld: No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary

12. #12Oil rigsselective

    Keys: oil rig

    There are three Oil Rigs across the waters of Palpagos Islands, all controled by the Ryane Syndicate and used as strongholds: -Barge Oil Rig: It can be found in the lake to the north of the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings waypoint. It lacks the anti-air measures that the other oil rigs have, making it safe to approach by flying Pal. However, it comes with stationary turrets that can tear through unsuspecting humans and Pal alike. -Oil Rig: The second Oil Rig stronghold can be found southeast of Marsh Island's waypoint. The Oil Rig is surrounded by anti-air laser turrets that will target players approaching on a Flying Pal. These lasers deal very high damage and can cause even high-level Pals to faint within a few seconds. They do not target swimming humans or humans riding a Water Pal. -Platform Oil Rig: The third stronghold can be found directly to the west of the Feybreak Shipwreck waypoint. the Platform Oil Rig in addition to the turrets and lasers from the previous strongholds, also comes with the Anti-Air platforms found across the camps on the Feybreak island.

13. #13Rayne Syndicateselective

    Keys: Rayne Syndicate

    The Rayne Syndicate is a criminal organization notorious for its involvement in illegal Pal poaching and exploitation. The determined and ruthless Zoe Rayne leads the group with her Electric-elemental Pal, Grizzbolt. They operate from their heavily fortified Rayne Syndicate Tower, located west of the central area of the map.

14. #14Free Pal Allianceselective

    Keys: FPA, Free Pal Alliance

    The Free Pal Alliance (FPA) is a faction that advocates freedom and ethical treatment of Pals. They oppose the exploitation and misuse of these creatures for personal gain or research, advocating for a harmonious coexistence between humans and Pals. The determined and compassionate Lily Everhart leads the faction alongside her loyal Grass-elemental Pal companion, Lyleen. They might seem like the most benevolent faction on the islands, but if you look closer, they're not as kind as you think.

15. #15Brothers of the Eternal Pyreselective

    Keys: Brothers of the Eternal Pyre

    The Brothers of the Eternal Pyre are a religious faction who worship fire and believe in the purifying power of flames. They see themselves as protectors of the natural world and view the use of technology for genetic manipulation, practiced by factions like the PGRU, as an abomination. The faction is led by the enigmatic Axel Travers, a skilled warrior who fights alongside his powerful Dragon/ Electric-element Pal companion, Orserk.

    Keys: PIDF, Palpagos Island Defense Force

    The Palpagos Island Defense Force (PIDF) acts as the self-proclaimed law enforcement of Palpagos Islands, aiming to maintain order and safety. The PIDF represents a complex and morally ambiguous faction. The enigmatic Colonel Marcus Dryden leads them, accompanied by his powerful Fire-element Pal, Faleris. While they might claim to uphold the law, their methods and motives are often questionable. Consider their actions and reputation carefully before choosing how to interact with them during your adventures.

17. #17Pal Genetic Research Unitselective

    Keys: Pal Genetic Research Unit, PGRU

    The Pal Genetic Research Unit (PGRU) is a faction dedicated to researching and developing Pals. Commander Victor Ashford, an ambitious and ruthless man, leads the group and seeks to create the ultimate Pal through genetic manipulation and selective breeding. Recently, they found success in the form of a Dark-elemental Pal called Shadowbeak, which Victor uses to fight in battle.

18. #18Moonflower Clanselective

    Keys: Moonflower Clan

    The Moonflower Clan is a ninja clan that resides on the island of Sakurajima, zealously defending their home from outsiders. Saya Kurosaki, the leader of the clan, was waiting for the arrival of the Crescent Moon, Selyne the herald of change the one who will bring a new dawn for the land. She accepts the change that is coming and sees the Crescent Moon as a sign of a new beginning and freedom from darkness who is guiding them towards the end.

19. #19Feybreak Warriorsselective

    Keys: Feybreak Warriors

    The Feybreak Warriors are a powerful faction residing on Feybreak Island. They are led by the Bjorn Seligsson, who is accompanied by his Pal companion, Bastigor. What sets them apart from other factions is their mastery of anti-air turrets, making it impossible for players to use flying mounts in their territory without being attacked. This defense system is a testament to their dedication to protecting the island. Their ultimate goal is to safeguard Feybreak Island from outsider invasions, ensuring its resources and sanctity remain untouched by external threats.
