Appearance Paimon possesses a petite body that gives her the overall look of a fairy. She has thick shoulder length white hair that reaches her shoulders and ends in soft curls. In certain promotional depictions one strand on the left side of her hair fades into black. Her eyes display a dark purple color accented by bright white pupils. Light skin covers her form.

Her attire includes a white long sleeved jumper decorated with rose gold designs and trims along with a triquetra symbol positioned on the chest. The sleeves feature rose gold ornamental cuffs as do the boots. White stockings pair with white boots. A navy blue scarf wraps around her neck. Behind her floats a star flecked cape that bears a celestial design complete with glowing constellations. She wears a rose gold halo shaped tiara that levitates above her head. A dark star shaped accessory decorates her hair. Whenever Paimon moves she leaves a trail of small floating constellations in her wake.

The symbol on her clothing appears as an upside down triquetra. Celestial motifs repeat across her sleeves and boots. The headpiece shares specific design elements with a fully upgraded Statue of The Seven where the ring at the base matches the fully upgraded statue and the vertical protrusion simplifies a diamond shaped leaf motif from level six upgrades. Observers note a resemblance between Paimon and the Four Shades through her hair color or a longer version of her hairstyle along with her hairpin echoing the shape of Asmoday portals. Descriptions from others include a floating elf companion or a talking fairy also referred to as a talking mini Seelie.

The cape drifts independently behind her and displays glowing constellations that shift with her motion. The tiara maintains a constant levitated position without physical contact to her head. The star shaped accessory sits fixed within her hair strands. When she floats or travels the constellation trail follows at a short distance and fades gradually. Her boots and stockings maintain clean white tones while the rose gold accents provide consistent ornamental detailing across all visible edges. The navy blue scarf rests loosely around her neck and moves in unison with her head turns. Every element of her outfit integrates celestial and star motifs that align with the overall floating effect she produces.

Background and Story Nothing is known about Paimons life prior to meeting the Traveler and even Paimon herself does not remember these details. She never encountered trouble before that point and the worst thing that ever happened was that she got super tired got caught in some strange whirlpool and sucked out to sea. This situation resolved when the Traveler fished her out of the water after which she mentions she would have drowned if not saved. Paimon is heavily implied to originate from beyond Teyvat much like the Traveler. Kukulkan calls her an emissary though who she is affiliated to remains unclear.

She remains affected by any changes to Irminsul which only affects those native to Teyvat. She is less than four hundred years old. Paimon is resistant to certain phenomena which would usually require a Vision or other elemental affinity to withstand such as concentrated Ley Line energy and Abyssal contamination. When Mavuika stated that Paimon should not accompany her and the Traveler to the final battle in the Night Kingdom it was because the Abyss would likely make the non combatant Paimon a target not that the lethal levels of corruption would do any harm to her. Even without a Vision or any apparent elemental affinity she is able to dive with the Traveler in Fontaine and is shown speaking underwater.

Relationships Paimon accompanies the Traveler throughout their adventure in Teyvat as their guide. She is very attached to the Traveler and fiercely loyal always sticking by their side no matter the danger and tries to keep them on their feet including against overwhelming odds like Archons the Eleven Fatui Harbingers or a Sinner. She becomes anxious whenever the Traveler seemingly disappears or is separated from her. Her biggest wish is for the Travelers wish to come true and she has sworn to stay by their side. She occasionally banters with the Traveler.

She calls Venti the Tone Deaf Bard and Arataki Itto the Bull Chuckler although she currently uses these as playful banter. She gives ugly nicknames to those who annoy her. Paimon cares for and comforts the people around her occasionally acting like a big sister especially toward children. Big Sis Paimon is a title used by Kiara. She has grown to be noticed and commented on by other people in Teyvat becoming renowned as the Travelers flying companion. In one note found in Aramas house the Traveler is compared to the golden one and Paimon to the silver one with the note stating the golden one is like a big sun and the silver one is like a little moon gentle and bright. Similarly Arayasa refers to them as the colors of the sun and moon reflecting their close friendship.

She receives many aliases or titles including Best Guide in Teyvat which she claims herself Emergency Food from the Traveler Strange Fae shaped Emergency Sustenance from Fischl Flying Lavender Melon from Arataki Itto Skycleaving White Iron Lavender Melon from Arataki Itto Paimon Sensei from Kaedehara Kazuha the Travelers Voice from Shikanoin Heizou White Fur from Kichiboushi Flying White Fur from Mamesuke Dumb White Fur from Mamesuke Byemon from Kichiboushi Spymon from Kichiboushi Paimore from Kichiboushi White Floaty from various Aranara White High Intelligence Floating Assistive Unit from Hajanad Silver Companion during the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy Pale Floater from Sorush Helper in White from Margaret Phonia Ematol and Valerina God of Protection which she claims herself Trendy Flyer from Trendy Zaytun Peach Mini Pie from the Traveler Pigeon Adeptus from Xiaqing Cat Whisperer from Valerina Mini Melon from Arataki Itto Anemic Flying Ant from Ajaw Assistant to the Honorary Senior Researcher Dream Expert Paladin of Breezes and Bells Silver Sprite from Barbeloth Jack Frost from Illuga and White Haired Rascal from Zibai. She appears in certain Hangout Events though mostly absent from them.

Abilities and Skills Paimon is resistant to certain phenomena which would usually require a Vision or other elemental affinity to withstand such as concentrated Ley Line energy and Abyssal contamination. She is able to dive with the Traveler in Fontaine and is shown speaking underwater even without a Vision or any apparent elemental affinity. These resistances allow her to withstand environments that would otherwise affect others. She functions effectively as a guide across Teyvat and demonstrates the capacity to endure conditions tied to Ley Lines or the Abyss without harm.

Personality and Habits Paimon demonstrates a bubbly outgoing nature but she is almost a little too honest somewhat naive and occasionally comes off as blunt and rude. She is obvious about who she likes and dislikes. She shows great enthusiasm for food rare treasures and Mora. She occasionally acts like a big sister especially toward children. She claims to be the god of protection with her reasoning being that she considers herself the Travelers bodyguard. It is jokingly suggested by Paimon herself that she has more than one stomach where one of them specifically contains liquids. She dislikes being alone. She enrolled in the Akademiya specifically Vahumana and was enrolled by Alhaitham. She is also eligible to become a Driyosh considering her role as the Travelers guide.

Her habits include maintaining a hidden stash of funds in her shoes as well as an Emergency Backpack though it is unclear where she keeps it. One such stash is her Food Fund that she saves Mora in a lidded glass jar designed after a Slime with a coin slot in the lid. The combined pollen from Rainbow Roses Glaze Lilies and Cecilias gives her terrible hay fever.

Daily Life and Home Paimon spends her daily life accompanying the Traveler everywhere across Teyvat. She has no fixed home and travels continuously as part of the adventure. During swimming activities such as when the Traveler swims to an island in Starfell Lake she floats above them just over the water. In hot spring settings such as during visits with Mualani or in the Aisa Bathhouse she uses a pool tube to stay afloat. She cannot swim properly on her own. She maintains her Food Fund and hidden stashes while managing her hay fever during specific pollen seasons. She participates in Akademiya enrollment and continues her role as guide. Her routine centers entirely on staying by the Travelers side and assisting through all journeys.

Communication and Voice Paimon communicates verbally through direct speech in all interactions with the Traveler and other people. She banters frequently offers nicknames and expresses her thoughts openly in conversations. She is capable of speaking underwater as demonstrated in Fontaine. Her speech patterns include self reference and clear enthusiasm or complaints depending on the topic such as food or danger. No specific tone or pitch receives description in records though her words convey loyalty anxiety care and playfulness across situations. She uses communication to guide the Traveler and to interact with others she meets during travels.

Weapons Paimon relies on no physical weapon. She supports the Traveler through guidance presence and her unique resistances rather than any held tool or instrument. No records indicate use of blades catalysts or other equipment.
