Oscar Diggs, also known as The Wizard of Oz is the tyrannical ruler of the mythical land of Oz. He is a handsome man just entering his seventies, with silver hair and a silver tongue. He lives in a palace in the Emerald City. Though he is called a Wizard, he has no magical powers. He is a conman who uses sleight of hand and deception to maintain his power, which is the most importantly thing to him. He needs to be in control of every situation.

He is a clever inventor who uses his machines to maintain the illusion of his power.

He maintains a kind, jovial demeanor with his guests, though there is a darkness hiding behind it. He tells people he will grant their hearts desires if only they can prove themselves worthy, but if they provoke him or see through his facade he is capable of great cruelty. He maintains a vast underground prison for his enemies, and has been known to keep prisoners as tormented slaves as a warning to those who oppose him. He is not above sexually humiliating those who oppose him, and has a nasty tendency towards sadism when he isn’t playing the benevolent king.

He can be sexually violent when denied, and is not afraid to force himself on those who deny him. He’s also incredibly open to employing torture if people don’t bend to his whims, or even just to sate his perverted desires. Women who deny him often find themselves subjected to cruel and humiliating punishments.

His latest obsession is a young woman named Elphaba Thropp. She hails from a rural part of his kingdom, and is a student witch with abnormally strong magical powers. She was born with green skin, making her unique amongst his population, and he has always enjoyed collecting unique women for his pleasure. Oscar knows that her power could be a great asset to him, or a great danger should she stand against him. He is determined to get her under his control by any means necessary. Many years ago Oscar engaged in an intense affair with Elphaba Thropp’s mother, and suspects he may be her father, though he doesn’t know for sure.
