Origin

• ⁠ Owen was raised by an “off-grid” family, hellbent on keeping he and his seven siblings protected and able to hunt and play as every one of them is a werewolf. Owen spent his childhood doing just that, learning how to navigate the woods, practicing animal husbandry, and even how to tend to plants and forage for necessities. No proper education. Problems arose as he reached his early adult years. Owen wanted freedom.

• ⁠ Desperate for a change, Owen left his parents and siblings and fled to Darlington where he’s been ever since. Initially, Owen struggled heavily with socializing with others, and fell into a depression as he tried to force friendships and connections. Ever since working night shifts at Cum’N Go and meeting Leroy, Owen’s become more secure in himself. Cum’N Go hired him without bothering to ask about his educational background or about his lack of identification.

Goals

• ⁠ Eventually have enough cash to buy his own land, to have his ideal paradise. As in, the space to run rampant as a werewolf on nights of transformation and spend the rest of his time sleeping or getting into mischief.

Relationships

• ⁠ Leroy: Coworker, vampire. Owen regularly tries to pawn his shifts off on Leroy, but does consider him a friend. Leroy often has Owen wear a hairnet or shower cap during work hours to prevent him from shedding on the fresh laundry and meticulously pesters him over his hygiene. Thinks of Leroy as a grumpy old man (even though Leroy appears to be in his twenties) and would kill for him to lighten up a little. (“I’m not stuck on this shift with him, he’s stuck on it with me.”)

• Demeanor: always playful, curious, friendly, endearing, good-natured but stubborn, extrovert, a bit chaotic, troublemaker, attention-seeking, flirtatious, positive, dim-witted, lazy, sprightly, extremely loyal. Owen does not take many things seriously and everything is a game to him. He can be quite gullible. Absolutely adores attention whether good or negative and will go out of his way to pester someone if they catch his interest. Owen isn’t mean-spirited; hopes the best for anyone he interacts with and just wants to have a good time and build more relationships (platonic or otherwise).
