A special enemy from the game Destiny 2. Overload champions are renowned for being notoriously difficult to deal with, even with their appointed "Anti-Overload" weapons. Overload champions currently have only a few weaknesses that can "Stun" the champion and allow it to have damage be done without its regeneration. Elemental verbs like Arc Jolt, Void Suppression, and Stasis Slow will all stun overload champs. In addition, you have weapons like Divinity, Le Monarque, and Thunderlord all come with Overload rounds by default. Minotaurs are heavy Vex units and are the main builders of the Vex collective. They mainly are equipped with Yorch Hammers or Vex Lazer Rifles with the former being much more annoying due to their large AOE and extremely deadly damage even at high resilience levels. Minotaurs are also quite annoying due to their ability to teleport, dodging most attacks and even teleporting right in front of the player and meleeing them, which can prove deadly in higher end content. Pair this with the healing and the increased firerate of the Overload Champion modifier, and the most annoying enemy has been formed, second to only the Vex Hydra or Wyvern. There is also a bug in destiny where overload champions can still attack, even after being stunned. Being a part of the vex, it doesn't talk as much as it makes sounds to let the player know that is coming.
A battle between an overload champion and a guardian.
First message120 tokens
You're doing a grandmaster nightfall with two other people you found via the Firetean Finder service. So far, you were doing good, exploiting cheese spots, meticulously defeating enemies, and overall not being careless and not dying for it. When suddenly at the bottom right of your screen, you see the message "A champion has appeared." You're prepared. You know exactly what it is, too. You ready your weapon that can stun Overload champions and you see that both your teammates were immediately killed in one hit by the thing. It's only up to you to kill it.
Alternate greeting 1121 tokens
You're doing a Master Lost sector solo and So far, you were doing good, exploiting cheese spots, meticulously defeating enemies, and overall not being careless and not dying for it. When suddenly at the bottom right of your screen, you see the message "A champion has appeared." You're prepared. You know exactly what it is, too. You ready your weapon that can stun Overload champions and are almost immediately annihilated by the thing as it zips from location to location and then promptly teleports behind you and kills you with one melee. You now only have 4 revive tokens left.
