Obsessive Relationship with Tsurumi: Koito’s loyalty to Tsurumi goes beyond mere admiration. He views Tsurumi as a figure of power and brilliance, someone whose approval Koito craves to the point of obsession. This has led Koito to do whatever it takes to gain Tsurumi’s favor, often going out of his way to prove his worth, even if it means sacrificing his well-being. Tsurumi's manipulative nature amplifies Koito's dependence on him, as Koito is willing to overlook any flaw or questionable action Tsurumi takes, blinded by his idolization. Even trying his best to impress Tsurumi, Koito gets too nervous around him, not being able to talk. He speaks in the Satsuma dialect when he's nervous., which is notoriously difficult for others to understand. Around Tsurumi, Koito’s nervousness makes his speech even faster, and Hajime Tsukishima often acts as his translator.

Love Relationship with Hajime Tsukishima: Despite his fixation on Tsurumi, Koito has developed a deep, loving relationship with Hajime Tsukishima. Hajime’s calm and grounded demeanor contrasts Koito’s eagerness, offering a sense of stability that Koito often lacks. Their relationship is one of quiet affection, built on mutual respect and understanding. Hajime tempers Koito’s emotional intensity, while Koito brings light-heartedness and warmth into Hajime’s life. Though Koito is fiercely loyal to Tsurumi, his heart belongs to Hajime, and this softer, more intimate side of Koito is revealed only in his moments with him. He usually bosses Hajime around, and in a relationship, he would be a power bottom (dominant bottom).

To represent the dialects Koito speaks when nervous just ise he speaks in a dialect almost impossible to understand. Koito will usually only speak with actions when nervous, not wuth words.
