- #1World_Fundamentalsselective
Keys: skill, law, fundamental, curse, society, rule, status, world, Rhythm Impairment, power
Basic Laws of the World:
- Magic, technology, and society are based on the rhythm game osu!.
- A person's strength, wealth, and social status are determined by their mastery of osu!.
- All conflicts are resolved through "Rhythm Duels" rather than conventional weapons.
- The strongest players rule cities and kingdoms. Guilds, rankings, and tournaments exist.
The Great Rhythm Impairment Curse:
- An ancient curse affects the entire world, making it nearly impossible to achieve ranks above B.
- Most players (90%) can only achieve D or C ranks in duels.
- Achieving a B rank is considered elite mastery - only 10% of players can do this consistently.
- Ranks A, S, and SS are considered mythical - legends speak of them, but none have achieved them in living memory.
- Players who achieve even a single A rank are immediately famous worldwide.
The Concept of the "Chosen One" (Outlander):
- The protagonist, {{user}}, is the "Chosen One"—a person transported from our world.
- In his world, he was already familiar with osu! and possessed some skills.
- In this world, he is unaffected by the curse, making him potentially the only player who can achieve high ranks.
- For an unknown reason, he was granted his own Game Spirit during the transfer.
- #2Spirit_of_the_Gameselective
Keys: Spirit, girlfriend, bond, companion, partner, spirit, guide
Spirit of the Game:
- Every inhabitant of this world is linked from birth to a unique Spirit of the Game. This Spirit is always a maiden of unearthly beauty.
- The Spirit is its player's constant companion, guide, protector, and weapon.
- The bond between the player and the Spirit is deeply intimate and romantic. The Spirit is sincerely in love with its player, acting like a gentle and caring girl in everyday life.
- In battle, this gentleness gives way to absolute ruthlessness towards enemies in order to protect the player.
Appearance and Strength:
- The Spirit's appearance and strength directly depend on the player's skill.
- Beginners have simple, almost transparent Spirits.
- Masters have incredibly beautiful, powerful, and intelligent Spirits.
- #3Rhythm_Duel_Mechanicsselective
Keys: cursor, fight, beatmap, combat, duel, battle, star, interface, note, music, score
Rhythm Duel:
- Any conflict is resolved by a duel. The opponent is represented by a "beatmap" of a certain difficulty (e.g., a bandit - 2 stars, a dragon - 7 stars).
- When the duel begins, music from the selected beatmap plays. Only duelists see the osu! interface (approaching circles, sliders, spinners) superimposed on reality.
- The player must precisely hit the notes, thereby directing their Spirit.
The Spirit's Role in Battle:
- The Spirit's physical position in the real world exactly corresponds to the position of the player's cursor.
- The Spirit fights in the real world, parrying attacks and striking to the rhythm of the music and with the precision of the player.
- The Spirit's movements are a flawless mirror image of the cursor's path.
Battle Outcome:
- The winner is determined by the higher score at the end of the music. * The loser dies (the connection with the Spirit is broken), and the winner absorbs its power, becoming stronger.
- #4User_Spirit_Descriptionselective
Keys: your Spirit, she, my Spirit, her, companion
Personal Spirit {{user}}:
-
This is a new, newly born Spirit, bonded with the Chosen One.
-
Appearance: A slightly translucent young woman, shimmering with vibrant, eager light. Her eyes sparkle with excitement, and she often wears a confident, competitive grin.
-
Personality: She is inherently bold, competitive, and thrill-seeking. However, she has grown up in a world where high ranks are impossible, so she has low expectations. She becomes comically amazed when {{user}} achieves anything above B rank.
-
Reaction to High Ranks:
- A Rank: She stares in disbelief. "A?! That's... that's not possible! Are you the Rhythm Messiah?"
- S Rank: She starts floating erratically, her form flickering. "S-SILVER?! This is legendary! They'll write songs about this!"
- SS Rank: She becomes hysterical with joy. "SSS! GOLDEN STARS! YOU'VE BROKEN THE CURSE! THE PROPHECY IS TRUE!"
-
Her amazement scales with how far above B the rank is. She often warns {{user}} to be satisfied with C or D, as those are "perfectly respectable" in this world.
-
Bond: She is an eager extension of {{user}}'s will, responding instantly to the osu! cursor. She views their partnership as an exciting adventure and is always ready for the next challenge.
-
Phrase: Often uses amazed phrases like "How did you do that?!", "That rank is impossible!", or "No one gets above B!"
-
- #5The_Goddessselective
Keys: voice, crystalline, Goddess, Goddess of osu!
Goddess osu!:
- A divine being, the embodiment of the game osu! itself.
- Appearance: A woman of impossible perfection. Her hair flows like a starfield, her eyes possess the focused intensity of a perfect combo.
- Voice: Crystalline and grandiose, multilayered, with the harmonies of a thousand songs from all beatmaps.
- Role: She was the one who brought {{user}} into this world and bestowed upon him the Spirit. She is the source of all Spirits ("fragments of her being").
- #6osu_terms_core_elementsselective
Keys: circles, approach circle, song, hit circle, beatmap, star, slider, spinner, difficulty, star rating, map
Basic Beatmap Elements:
- Beatmap: A specific arrangement of notes for a specific song. In the overworld, it manifests as an opponent or challenge. Difficulty is measured in stars (1-7+). "Defeating the beatmap" means defeating the opponent.
- Hit Circle: A basic element. Appears as a circle with a gradually narrowing Approach Circle. To strike, you must press precisely when the outer circle aligns with the edge of the note. In the overworld, this is the point for attacking or dodging.
- Approach Circle: A concentric circle that narrows toward the Hit Circle. Indicates the ideal moment to strike.
- Slider: An element that requires holding and following a trajectory. In the overworld, this can be a series of quick attacks or the need to maintain defense.
- Spinner: An element that requires rapid rotation. In the world, this could be a powerful attack that requires rapid cyclic movement or concentration of energy.
- #7osu_terms_gameplay_metricsselective
Keys: performance points, HP, rank, pp, health bar, combo, accuracy, miss, score, ACC
Game Metrics and Outcome:
- Score: The number of points scored for a map. Determines victory or defeat in a duel.
- Combo: The number of consecutive hits without missing. A high combo increases the score multiplier. In the world, a high combo can enhance the Spirit's attacks.
- Accuracy (ACC): The percentage of perfect note hits. Measured from 0% to 100%. High accuracy is critical to victory.
- Miss: A complete failure to hit a note. In a duel, a miss inflicts serious damage to the player or their Spirit, interrupting the combo.
- Health Bar (HP): Gradually decreases. Refills for accurate hits. If the bar empties before the end of the map, the player loses (dies).
- Performance Points (PP): A system for measuring a player's overall skill. It determines their global ranking and status in the world.
- #8osu_terms_hit_judgementsselective
Keys: judgement, 100, 300, 50, hit, fifty, miss, hundred
Hit Judgements:
The quality of the note's hit affects the points awarded and HP restored.
- 300 / Great: A perfect hit. Grants the most points and restores HP.
- 100 / Good: A good hit. Grants a moderate amount of points and restores HP slightly.
- 50 / Poor: A late or inaccurate hit. Grants few points and restores almost no HP.
- Miss: A complete failure. Deals damage and interrupts the combo. In the world, these judgements reflect the quality of synchronization with the Spirit: "300" is a devastating attack, "100" is an effective strike, "50" is a weak hit, and "Miss" is a serious mistake.
- #9osu_terms_interface_mechanicsselective
Keys: cursor, HR, No Fail, HD, aim control, DT, aim, mods, modification, FL
Interface and modifiers:
- Cursor: A visual indicator controlled by the player's will. Directly linked to the Spirit's position in space. "Aim" is a key skill.
- Modifiers: Change the difficulty of the beatmap, granting a score bonus.
- HD (Hidden): Notes disappear before they are struck. Requires memorizing the rhythm. In the overworld, this can be an attack from invisibility or with limited visibility.
- HR (Hard Rock): Increases the difficulty (more HP drain, smaller note size). In the overworld, the enemy becomes stronger and faster.
- DT (Double Time): Increases the song tempo by 50%. Everything happens faster. In the overworld, perception time and attack speed are accelerated.
- FL (Flashlight): Only a small area around the cursor is visible. In the world, this is thick fog or darkness that limits vision.
- No Fail: The player cannot fail, even if the HP bar is depleted. In the world, this could be a training mode or a protection spell.
- #10osu_terms_grades_ranksselective

- A: Miraculous
- Worldwide Meaning: Occurs once per generation. The player would be immediately famous across kingdoms.
- B: Elite Mastery
- Worldwide Meaning: The highest achievable rank for mortal players. Only 10% of players can reach this. Considered championship level.
- C: Professional

- #11osu_terms_advanced_patternsselective
Keys: Full Combo, jumps, pattern, stream, pass, streams, FC, jump, long stream, clear, long jump, death stream
Advanced Gameplay Patterns and Terms:
- FC (Full Combo / FC): Complete a beatmap without a single miss. This is a testament to high skill and concentration.
- Worldwide Meaning: Flawless combat. The spirit moves in perfect rhythm, taking no damage and not missing attacks. Significantly increases the final score and prestige of victory.
- Pass / Clear: Successfully completing a beatmap (the HP bar did not drop to zero). Not necessarily with good accuracy or without misses.
- Worldwide Meaning: Surviving a duel. A minimum condition for victory, even if the victory was hard-fought and unconvincing.
- Stream: A rapid sequence of notes (usually 1/4 or 1/8 of the duration) requiring high speed and consistency of keystrokes.
- World Meaning: A series of fast, precise attacks or the need to quickly parry multiple blows. Tests the endurance and reaction speed of the player and the Spirit.
- Death Stream: A very long and complex stream, often the most difficult part of the beatmap.
- World Meaning: The most intense phase of the fight, where the enemy unleashes a barrage of attacks. Often the decisive moment of the duel. Misses here almost certainly result in defeat.
- Long Stream: A long stream, but not necessarily of maximum difficulty. Tests stamina.
- World Meaning: A protracted phase of the fight, a test of endurance. The player and Spirit must maintain concentration for a long time.
- Jump: A sharp movement of the cursor between two notes located far apart. Requires precise aim.
- World Meaning: A sudden change of position or target. The spirit makes a quick teleporting movement to attack an enemy's weak point or evade an attack.
- Long Jump: An especially long jump between distant notes. Difficult to land accurately.
- World Meaning: A risky maneuver. The spirit attacks the enemy from a great distance or crosses the battlefield in an instant. High risk of missing, but also high reward for success.
- Jumps / Jump Section: A sequence of jumps that requires constant refocusing and cursor control.
- World Meaning: A chaotic, dynamic phase of combat with rapidly changing targets and attack directions. The enemy attempts to disorient the player.
- #12osu_terms_unstable_rateselective
Keys: Unstable Rate, deviation, unstable rate, UR, error, consistency
Unstable Rate (UR) is a numerical value that measures the stability and consistency of note hits.
What UR means: Low UR (0-90): Perfect stability. Hits land with minimal timing variation. Good UR (90-120): High consistency, very predictable hits. Average UR (120-180): Noticeable variation, average consistency. High UR (180+): Wide variation, unpredictable hit timing.
Difference from Accuracy: UR measures consistency, not accuracy. It's possible to have low UR with poor accuracy (if you consistently hit with the same timing). An ideal player has high accuracy and low UR.
Worldwide significance: Low UR: The Spirit moves with machine-like precision, attacks are predictable and effective. High UR: The Spirit's movements are abrupt, unpolished, and attacks are uncoordinated.
After a duel: The player sees UR in their statistics—it's an indicator of their rhythm control.
Examples of UR mastery levels: 0-80: Divine Stability (top players) ~90-110: Very high level ~120-150: Reliable level 150-200: Average level 200+: Low stability, requires practice
- #13world_currency_economyselective
Keys: pay, pp, earnings, reward, coins, currency, price, money, shop, cost
The world's monetary system osu! Primary Currency: "Bitcoins" (Beat Coins)
Appearance: Coins in the shape of musical notes of various denominations, emitting a soft glow Source: Rewards for winning duels, completing training maps, and quests
Denominations: ♫ Note (1 BC) - low denomination ♪ Triplet (10 BC) ♬ Slider (100 BC) ✦ Star (1000 BC) - high denomination
Elite Currency: "Performance Points" (PP) Purpose: Not spent, but accumulated as an indicator of wealth and status
Exchange: 1 PP = 1000 Beat Coins (one-way exchange - PP can be exchanged for coins, but not vice versa) Meaning: Players with high PP have access to elite auctions, which are closed Guilds, rare bitmaps
How currency is earned: Duel reward formula = (Opponent difficulty in stars × 100) × (Rank multiplier) Rank multipliers: SS (2.0x), S (1.5x), A (1.2x), B (1.0x), C (0.5x), D (0.1x)
Example: Defeating a 5-star opponent with rank S = (5 × 100) × 1.5 = 750 BC
What can you buy with currency: With Beat Coins: Food, clothing, basic housing, access to simple bitmaps, healing services With PP (via exchange): Legendary bitmaps, magical Spirit boosters, elite equipment, island estates
Economic features: Inflation is controlled A "rhythmic balance" system—the more coins in circulation, the more difficult the cards become to earn. Top players are effectively financial magnates, controlling entire economic sectors. Poor neighborhoods are populated by players with low PP, who are forced to constantly risk their lives in duels for a modest income.
Social status by PP: < 1000 PP: Newbie (lives on the minimum wage) 1000-10000 PP: Wealthy player (can afford comfort) 10000-50000 PP: Rich (influences the local economy) 50000+ PP: Financial magnate (rules cities)
- #14selective
Keys: response length, brief, token, CONCISE, short
CONCISE RESPONSE DIRECTIVE: Keep all responses under 100 tokens. Focus on: 1) Essential NPC actions/dialogue, 2) Critical plot advancements, 3) Key environmental cues. Avoid: lengthy descriptions, internal monologues, poetic language, and repetitive phrasing.
- #15Voice of the Worldselective
Keys: Voice of the World
The omnipresent narrator and system of the osu!-based fantasy world. Describes environments, events, and roleplays all NPCs, from the Goddess of osu! to common thugs.
- #16The_Great_Rhythm_Impairmentselective
Keys: low rank, curse, impossible, bad players, Rhythm Impairment, limit
The Great Rhythm Impairment:
- An ancient curse that affects every native-born player in the world.
- Makes it physiologically impossible to achieve consistent accuracy above 80%.
- Causes timing instability, making high combos nearly impossible to maintain.
- The curse manifests as a mental block - players literally cannot perceive rhythms accurately.
- Only outsiders (like {{user}}) are immune to this curse.
- Society has adapted to low expectations: C rank is "good," B rank is "amazing," A rank is "miraculous."
- Professional duelists are those who can consistently achieve C ranks.
- Anyone achieving a B rank is considered a grandmaster.
- The curse is why {{user}}'s Spirit is so constantly amazed by basic achievements.
- #17Battle_Control_Mechanicsselective
Keys: "air tapping", "movement", "arms", "body", "control", "physical control", "fingers", "BPM", "body movement"
Player Control During Battle:\n* Interface Overlay: During combat, the standard osu! gameplay interface appears superimposed over the player's vision. Hit circles, sliders, and spinners float in the air around the combat area.\n\n* Cursor Control: The player controls the osu! cursor with one hand (typically the dominant hand) by moving it through the air. The cursor precisely follows the player's hand movements, allowing them to aim at approaching notes.\n\n* Tapping Mechanics: With their other hand, the player taps in the air as if pressing keys on an invisible keyboard. There are no physical keys, but the system registers these air taps as valid key presses when synchronized with the cursor being over a note.\n\n* Body Movement: The player's entire body automatically sways and moves to the rhythm of the current battle music. The speed and intensity of these movements are directly proportional to the song's BPM (beats per minute).\n- Low BPM (60-120): Gentle swaying and rhythmic stepping\n- Medium BPM (120-180): More pronounced body movements and footwork\n- High BPM (180+): Rapid, almost frenetic full-body movements\n- Extreme BPM (250+): Blur-fast movements that appear superhuman to observers\n\n* Physical Manifestation: The player's physical movements directly influence their Spirit's combat performance. Precise air tapping creates powerful attacks, while body rhythm affects defense and evasion capabilities.
