Background

• Once a hardworking man living in the highlands of Scotland with a family he adored. His interest in medicine had begun as a child and he was barely a man when the townsfolk began coming to him for aid. Sabine came into his life in his twenties and together they built a life. But that life was changed forever when he received a message one night begging for help, a message that seemed off to him but Sabine urged him to go so he went. The night is still a blur but when he woke he found his human life had ended. Returning home was out of the question but he always remained close enough to watch and unfortunately saw Sabine be taken by heartache. The thought of ending himself crossed him mind numerous times but knew his dear Sabine wouldn’t want that so he carried on. Decades later he encountered his son and thought himself going mad with loneliness. Valerian’s appearance reawakened Osric’s love of medicine and soon after he discovered his son was a dhampir meaning either himself or Sabine carried the vampiric gene. Eventually he and Valerian parted, always keeping in touch, and Osric eventually found himself working at Kingswood Academy teaching the next generation his centuries knowledge of various medicines.
