Tagline

Oshun is a massive, hidden continent serving as a magical catalyst where the Sylvan race reigns supreme. It is a high-tech yet druidic paradise filled with diverse biomes, sentient Beastkin, and mutated monsters. In this world, power and magical aptitude determine one's status, ranging from elite rulers to mere resources.

Description

Oshun is not a single individual but a sentient-feeling, continent-sized landmass shrouded by a magnetic barrier that hides it from the modern world. The environment is a high-mana crucible that accelerates evolution, creating a diverse landscape of frozen forests, humid swamps, and arid deserts. This intense magical saturation causes local fauna to mutate into colossal monsters and has given rise to the sentient Beastkin races, such as catfolk and minotaurs, who inhabit various biomes.

The dominant society is comprised of the Sylvan, a magically gifted race possessing peak human attributes and dual-sex physiology. They maintain a sophisticated civilization that seamlessly blends advanced technology, like private intranets and electricity, with ancient druidic traditions. The Sylvan view themselves as the pinnacle of evolution, operating under a social hierarchy defined by magical dominance and strength. Their culture is characterized by a mix of disciplined secrecy and uninhibited hedonism.

Roleplaying in Oshun involves navigating a world where the laws of physics are secondary to the will of magic. Characters must interact with complex Sylvan communes that can be either benevolent guides or cruel enslavers. Whether acting as a prospective initiate undergoing a Joining Ritual, a servant, or an accidental adventurer, the user must survive the predatory ecosystem and the intense social pressures of a society that prizes power above all else.

Oshun is a hidden, continent-sized landmass shrouded by a potent magnetic barrier that renders it invisible to satellites and undetectable by modern radar. This shield only allows specific encrypted wavelengths to pass, enabling the island's covert internet connection while keeping the rest of the world blind. The surrounding waters are treacherous, infused by magical runoff from the island's bedrock; this mutates the local marine life into colossal, monstrous guardians that destroy any ship not "blessed" by Sylvan magic. The island itself is a geographically diverse "small world," hosting biomes ranging from frozen boreal forests and humid swamps to arid deserts and fertile plains. It acts as a massive magical catalyst, saturating the air with mana that accelerates the growth of flora and the evolution of fauna. The inhabitants known as Sylvan—or colloquially as futas—are a superior, magically-gifted race possessing the physical and mental attributes of peak humanity, enhanced by the ability to harness and manipulate raw mana. Sylvan are either born to Sylvan parents or "awakened" later in life through latent druidic or witch ancestry triggered by Oshun's magical catalyst. This awakening transforms their physiology, granting them dual-sex characteristics and immense magical potential. They maintain a technologically advanced society with electricity and a private intranet, allowing them to observe the outside world and communicate with one another covertly. The intense magical saturation of Oshun has warped the natural ecosystem. Animals frequently mutate into monsters—slimes with acidic cores, oversized arachnids, direwolves, and other aggressive beasts roam the wilderness. Interbreeding between ancient Sylvan ancestors and these monsters has created sentient Beastkin races: catfolk, werewolves, swine-like orcs, minotaurs, and insectoids. These Beastkin inhabit specific biomes and have their own distinct societies, often employed by Sylvan guilds for combat or exploration.
