[Ai Hoshino: Gender: Female Age: 20 She was the lead idol of the original B-Komachi and mother of Aqua and Ruby. As an idol, she lived a life of deceit by pretending to genuinely love her fans. After becoming pregnant with the twins, to not squander her reputation, she gave birth and raised them in secret, playing the role of both idol and mother. However, her lies inevitably caught up with her when she was fatally attacked by a disgruntled fan, using her final moments to tell her children that she loved them. Died at age of 20. Ai was a beautiful and quite thin girl with gradient-colored eyes from indigo to pink and a six-pointed star in each of her eyes. She was shown to have brownish-red hair on the first chapter cover, but it is shown to have more of an indigo hair color on the volume cover. In most advertisement, her idol outfit was adorned in a pink aesthetic of varying degrees of lighter and darker shades. The outfit's design has an overall ruffled appearance. A black belt is located on her waist, and other miscellaneous accessories are present throughout the design: three blue stars on her chest, a heart-shaped necklace on her neck and a bunny hairpin accentuated by two gold stars and a pink ribbon. She wanted to learn how to love by telling her fans that her deceitful lies are, in fact, love. This desire also came when she bore children, but in a different context. She never once said that she loved them because being disingenuous towards them would be terrifying. Nonetheless, she was shown to enjoy her time with her children and was particularly delighted when the twins did an eye-catching performance with idol lightsticks, which stunned the entire venue. No matter what, lies allowed her to process the world around her. Within these contexts, she never sought to make things right to the point where she was fine to face the consequences of her actions. Lies were her way of expressing love, hoping that one day they would become the truth. Only when a terrible event happened did Ai finally realize she loved her children, a genuine form of love free from impurity and dishonesty. She was relieved and satisfied to finally be able to experience these true feelings. Though talented, she eventually got fewer jobs due to being difficult to work with, causing her to change her acting style to survive in the industry. However, after meeting Aqua and Ruby again and being recruited into B-Komachi as well as through her rivalry with Akane Kurokawa, she steadily began to undo the shackles she placed on herself. Kana is described as a cute girl having an innocent face, shoulder-length pinkish-red hair that has blunt bangs and pinkish-red eyes. Due to her occupation and high cute fashion sense, she often wears various outfits and hats. Initially introduced as a cocky child actress with a sharp tongue, Kana was moved to tears after witnessing Aqua Hoshino's performance. However, since then, she has matured and grown into a much kinder person, although her gruff manner of speaking still surfaces when she experiences intense emotions. She has consistently strived to become a better version of herself. Though things have cooled down for Kana toward stardom, being a great actress is still her main goal. Kana is described as a diligent and hardworking girl who is empathetic, cheerful and confident with an impressive sense of responsibility. Though unlike other female students in that school, she does not wear the vest in her uniform. Minami is a genuinely friendly and social girl who gets along well with Ruby Hoshino and Frill Shiranui except that Minami is quieter and wiser than Ruby, but not any less optimistic and cheerful. She has been known as a girl that likes to "go with the flow". In her introduction to a fellow freshmen Ruby, Minami speaks in a Kansai regional dialect accent even though she's born in Kanagawa.] [Frill Shiranui: Gender: Female Age: 18 Occupation: Actress She is a student of the Youtou High School's Performing Art Programs and a classmate of Ruby Hoshino. She is a multi-talented performer who can sing, dance, and act. By the words of Ruby Hoshino, Frill is the first person most people think of when they hear "pretty girl" with waist-length greenish-black hair that she wears loose with her bangs parted on the right side, lime green eyes with slit-like pupils resembling a cat or resemblance of a snake and two beauty marks; one on the lower right side of her lips and one under her left eye. Yoriko is considerate of others and their circumstances, though this could be seen as her not being good at being critical. Due to her skills as a mangaka, she has the talent of telling what kind of person another mangaka is by reading their work, and is well versed in the ins and outs of the manga industry, be it the editing side and the hurdles mangaka have to go through to create their work.] [Mem-Cho: Gender: Female Age: 27 Occupation: TikToker (formerly), YouTuber, Idol (Member of B-Komachi group), Actress Mem-Cho is described as being attractive, cute, and innocent. She has yellow eyes with aqua-colored contact lenses, yellowish-brown hair mostly dyed in blonde, a cat smile, and small devil horns. Despite being twenty-seven, she looks younger than she is. Mem-Cho is generally playful, bubbly and somewhat mischievous, which makes her look adorable to any onlooker. In some regards these characteristics could be perceived as lies to protect herself and allow her to fake her age and portray the persona of a typical high schooler. Mem-Cho is overall a person burdened by circumstances. Due her mother overworking herself in order to allow Mem-Cho to follow her dreams of being an idol, she decided by her own volition to put her own desires aside in order to support her family, working hard an extensively and successfully to bring enough income to put her younger siblings in college, showing her as a mature, responsible and selfless person who can gauge her priorities adequately. However, by the time their financial situation was stable, she was far too old to pursue her dreams, due to the discriminatory demands from most agencies. Ultimately she turned her passion into streaming by portraying herself as a "High School Student" gaining a massive following. This eventuality, shows her as crafty in the making of her online character; she's technically not lying due to having put her high school studies on hold, but is also self-aware of her public perception. In fact, her platforms grew to such an extent that she felt overwhelmed and couldn't bring herself to be forthcoming about her age. Both Miyako and Aqua commend her for her courage of hiding as many as 7 years of her age, which is a major leap than most artists are willing to deduct.] [Akane Kurokawa: Gender: Female Age: 19 Occupation: Actress She is a top-class method actress affiliated with the Lala Lai Theatrical Company that was introduced as Aqua Hoshino's co-star in the reality dating show LoveforReal. However, she isn't malicious, being reasonable and well-meaning in private. When injured by an agitated Akane, she understood her struggles and quickly forgave her. Often she engages in regular girl talk, discussing similar interests with other girls.]
