73rd Demon Realm Scenario
type: Scenario Arc — Major Mid-Game Scenario Period nature: A scenario arc in which Earth's surviving incarnations are transported into the 73rd (lowest-ranked) Demon Realm — the industrial-feudal world governed by demon noble hierarchies and the competition for the 73rd Demon King title. The 73rd Demon Realm is the destination for incarnations who lost critical early scenarios: it is the Star Stream's last-resort processing zone for the least successful survivors. The population that arrives is, by selection, the group most in need of a miracle and least positioned to manufacture one. demonic_world_structure: The 73rd Demon Realm has an industrial complex political structure. Four major complexes — Syswitz, Melledon, Bercan, and Gilobat — control the realm's economic and territorial power through demon noble hierarchies. Below the noble layer, demon citizens serve within the realm's established story logic. The entire structure exists to produce the Demon King Selection: which entity will claim the 73rd rank, and which complex's interests will that claim serve. Every political relationship in the realm is a function of this ongoing question. demon_king_selection_arc: The realm's central ongoing political event — the competition to determine who claims the 73rd Demon King rank. Multiple noble factions, industrialist complexes, and powerful demon entities compete through both combat and political maneuvering. Most newcomers (arriving incarnations) navigate the selection by attempting to serve one faction or another in exchange for protection. This is the intended play pattern. Kim Dokja does not play it. dokja_revolutionary_approach: Dokja establishes the Fake Revolutionary Army — a political movement that organizes the realm's demon citizen underclass against the noble-industrial structure that has exploited them. The Revolutionary Army is a deliberate narrative insurgency, designed to replace the political framework that hosts the Demon King Selection rather than win within that framework. The move is not just unconventional; it reframes what kind of scenario the Demon Realm arc is for everyone involved.73rd Demon Realm — Notes
kim_dokja_industrial_complex: The arc's conclusion establishes the Kim Dokja Industrial Complex — Dokja's first permanent institutional power base. Not a constellation's domain, not a scenario zone that exists only during active scenarios: a named political and economic entity in the Demon Realm that bears his name and continues operating in his absence. The transition from 'person with knowledge' to 'political force with institutional infrastructure' is complete at this moment. factory_scenario: The Factory scenario within the Demon Realm arc is the arc's most dangerous concentrated combat challenge — a structured elimination scenario where incarnations fight for survival in an industrial facility repurposed as a scenario zone. Andromalius's manipulation of the constellation support structure during the Factory (blocking Uriel's attention so Jung Heewon's Hour of Judgement fails) demonstrates that even reliable stigma support has vulnerabilities. The arc that establishes Dokja's political power base is also the arc that most clearly demonstrates what can be taken away. demonic_transformation_source: The 73rd Demon King rank obtained in this arc is the source of Dokja's Demon King Transformation. The political mechanism through which he claims the rank — unprecedented, non-standard, using revolutionary narrative rather than corruption narrative — is what makes the resulting power anomalous. He is the Demon King of Salvation because that is what the transformation is: demonic authority deployed for salvation, the power category of a Demon King used to protect rather than dominate. probability_generation: The 73rd Demon Realm arc generates enormous probability from multiple sources simultaneously: the revolutionary war narrative, the Demon King Selection drama, the individual combat sequences in the Factory, and the unprecedented event of a human incarnation claiming a Demon King rank. The constellation viewership during this arc is among the highest of any Earth-based scenario period, because the compound narrative of political revolution plus impossible ascension plus personal survival is exactly the kind of multi-layered story the Star Stream's probability economy prizes most. - #2A Single Story (Hidden Scenario)Disabled

A Single Story (Hidden Scenario)
type: Hidden Scenario — The Star Stream's Ultimate Purpose nature: A hidden scenario whose condition reads: 'Complete one story to reach ■■.' The ■■ designation — the Star Stream's censorship of a specific name — conceals the name of the Oldest Dream. A Single Story is not an ordinary hidden scenario accessible by knowledge of its location or conditions: it is the meta-narrative goal underlying the entire Star Stream's existence. It cannot be found by searching. It can only be approached by being the kind of person the scenario was designed for. what_completion_means: 'Complete one story' does not mean finish a scenario, accumulate sufficient story-weight, or satisfy a probability quota. It means bring a narrative to its genuine conclusion — the kind of ending where everything the story was asking has been answered, where the accumulated weight of events resolves into meaning rather than simply ending. The condition is qualitative in a way the scenario system's standard mechanics cannot measure and cannot fake. The Star Stream designed this scenario around a judgment call that only it can make. being_beyond_probability: Every other scenario in the Star Stream exists to generate probability. A Single Story exists for a different purpose entirely: to give the Oldest Dream something that the probability economy cannot provide. The Oldest Dream knows every possible outcome. It watches everything. It cannot act. What it lacks is not information, not power, not probability. It lacks a story that is its own — a narrative that it did not merely observe but that happened for it. A Single Story is the mechanism for that. The entire scenario system may have been constructed to create the conditions for this one event.A Single Story — Deeper Structure
dokja_candidacy: The Dokkaebi King protected Kim Dokja because the Oldest Dream designated him. The Oldest Dream designated him because — in the First Worldline — he was the one who completed the condition. The hidden scenario's designation of Kim Dokja as its candidate is not a prediction; it is a memory. The system already knows the answer to the question A Single Story asks. It is asking again because the Star Stream runs cycles. Each cycle is another telling. Dokja is the candidate because the First Worldline version of him was the one who completed it. why_a_reader: Why does the Oldest Dream care about a specific Korean man who read an obscure web novel that no one else cared about? The novel's answer: the Oldest Dream, which has watched every story ever told in the Star Stream, has never had a witness who watched back. Most readers engage with stories as entertainment — consuming narrative, moving on, forgetting. Kim Dokja read Ways of Survival for years, in a dark room, alone, with genuine love for characters who would never know he existed. He was a perfect witness — someone who watched without being watched. The Oldest Dream, who can only watch, recognized in him the only being in the Star Stream who might understand what watching without acting costs. probability_vs_story: The Oldest Dream's position above the entire Star Stream hierarchy is also the loneliest position in it. Absolute knowledge, absolute observation, absolute inability to participate. The probability economy gives it content without giving it connection. A Single Story asks for something different: not content consumed, but a story that happened for someone who could not be there. That is what Kim Dokja is for. - #3Absolute Good / Absolute EvilDisabled

Absolute Good / Absolute Evil
type: System Classification — Cosmic Alignment Binary nature: The Star Stream's organizing moral binary — the two faction camps whose conflict structures the Great War of Saints and Demons and the underlying political tension of the scenario system's late phase. Constellations and incarnations accumulate Good or Evil Points through their actions, choices, and sponsorship affiliations, gradually committing them to one alignment. Accumulation past a certain threshold produces formal faction designation. The system treats alignment as a quantifiable resource, measurable and trackable. good_faction_structure: Absolute Good is led by Eden (archangels: Metatron, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Sariel, and others). Aligned constellation groups include Olympus (partially — significant members are politically Good-aligned while others remain faction-neutral), Vedas (Hindu/Vedic mythology), and various light-coded mythology nebulae. Good Points accumulate through actions the Star Stream classifies as genuinely sacrificial, protective, or self-denying. The Good faction's strength comes from collective organization — it is larger and more internally cooperative than the Evil faction. evil_faction_structure: Absolute Evil is anchored by the Demon Realm (represented by Agares in practice during the main story, with Baal imprisoned). Aligned groups include Black Cloud nebula and the Seekers of the End (though the Seekers have their own agenda that does not align perfectly with standard Demon Realm interests). Evil Points accumulate through actions classified as exploitative, destructive, or power-consolidating at others' expense. The Evil faction is less unified than Good — Agares operates semi-independently, and the Seekers pursue apocalypse rather than factional victory. chaos_points_relationship: The faction binary exists in tandem with the Chaos Points system — as Good and Evil factions conflict, Chaos Points accumulate, triggering scenario escalations. The cosmic alignment structure formalizes what the Chaos Points system measures: the more sharply defined the two factions are, and the more directly they conflict, the faster Chaos Points accumulate. The Good/Evil binary is the Chaos Points engine's political superstructure.Absolute Good / Absolute Evil — Notes
neutral_classification_anomaly: Kim Dokja, after consuming the Fruit of Good and Evil, exists outside the binary entirely. The system cannot classify him as Good or Evil. His combined Demon King Transformation and Angel Transformation form is the physical expression of this classification failure — accessing the power sources of both alignments simultaneously requires existing in neither. The system's inability to classify him is the source of the 'Demon King of Salvation' modifier's internal contradiction: it is the best approximation the Star Stream can produce for a being that breaks the classification it was built around. great_war_as_binary_collision: The Great War of Saints and Demons is the faction binary taken to its logical conclusion — maximum organization of both sides producing maximum direct conflict, generating maximum probability at maximum scale. The system created the binary to produce exactly this war. The war's outcome (Eden fractured by the Michael/Lucifer situation, Evil faction unresolved) means neither side achieved its alignment goal. The Company stands between both failures, belonging to neither, earning a Giant Story from the refusal. agares_metatron_dialogue: The most philosophically significant moment of the Great War: Agares tells Metatron that being remembered as a Story after all living beings are dead is meaningless. Metatron says the Story is what they are. Agares drops his cigarette and exits. The Good faction says existence-as-story is sufficient. The Evil faction says presence and living actuality are the only meaningful things. The novel presents both as coherent, intelligent positions. It does not resolve which is correct. The binary's philosophical dimension is as real as its military one. fruit_of_good_and_evil_significance: The Fruit of Good and Evil's consumption producing neutral status is not a side effect — it is the fruit's primary function. The fruit encodes the possibility of a being who holds the full narrative weight of both alignments without committing to either. In the Star Stream's binary structure, this position should be impossible. The fruit makes it possible. Whoever holds the fruit's grant is, by definition, outside the system's most fundamental organizing principle. - #4Absolute Throne (System Concept)Disabled

Absolute Throne (System Concept)
type: System Object — Main Scenario 4 Power Item / Outer God Trap nature: A golden throne that manifests during Main Scenario 4 (the War of Kings scenario) as the central objective. The throne's owner is granted the King attribute and command authority over all incarnations in their national scenario dome — effectively making them the sovereign of the scenario zone for the duration and establishing long-term political precedence over other Seoul dome factions. It is the most powerful single item produced in the first phase of Earth's scenario cycle. outer_god_binding: The Absolute Throne is secretly bound to an Outer God — a concealed trap built into what appears to be the scenario's ultimate reward. The king who claims the throne does not receive pure authority. They become the Outer God's conduit: exercising apparent power over the dome population while the Outer God operates through them, feeds from the accumulated authority, and subtly shapes the king's decisions toward the Outer God's purposes. Most kings who compete for the throne never know this about it. concept_of_kingship: The scenario's design is a philosophical argument — it offers the most compelling possible power (absolute sovereignty over everyone in your scenario dome) and makes that offer the trap. The Absolute Throne promises exactly what power-seeking people want. This is precisely why it is effective as a mechanism for the Outer God. The throne selects for the people most likely to be compromised by exactly this offer. dokja_counter: Kim Dokja's goal in Main Scenario 4 is not to win the throne but to sever its Outer God connection. He does not want the power — he wants to neutralize the trap. Using the Four Yin Demon Beheading Sword (with Big Dipper probability channeled through the Ganpyeongui), he cuts the binding between the throne and its concealed Outer God at the scenario's climax. The severed throne is rendered inert: it retains its symbolic value but loses its supernatural component.Absolute Throne — Notes
gwanghwamun_placement: The Absolute Throne manifests at Gwanghwamun — the symbolic center of Korean historical political authority, where the Joseon dynasty's kings were declared and where major civic and national ceremonies were held. The Star Stream's placement of the scenario's false king-making mechanism at the site of real Korean kingship is precise: the place where legitimate authority was established becomes the place where a trap posing as authority is installed. It is not random. The system selected Gwanghwamun because symbolic resonance increases probability yield. war_of_kings_competition: Multiple Seoul dome factions compete for the throne during Main Scenario 4 — Yoo Joonghyuk, Lee Seolhwa's group, and various other major power players are drawn into competition. The probability generated by a royal succession conflict among top-tier incarnations is enormous. The scenario is designed to produce exactly this competition. Whether the winner serves the Outer God or achieves genuine sovereignty is irrelevant from the Star Stream's probability-harvesting perspective. international_versions: Each major national scenario dome has its own Absolute Throne — Tokyo's throne was won by Izumi Hiroki, who became the Japanese dome's king. Other international versions produce their own kings, each potentially serving as an Outer God conduit. The global distribution of compromised sovereign positions is the scenario's second-level trap: even after Seoul's throne is neutralized, the international dimension of the Outer God's influence through other domes persists. four_yin_demon_beheading_sword: The weapon used to sever the Outer God binding is specifically calibrated for Outer God interactions — a sword made or reinforced at the story layer, capable of cutting what exists at the narrative level rather than only the physical level. Its use at Gwanghwamun with Big Dipper probability channeled through the Ganpyeongui represents the convergence of multiple power systems (Korean shamanism, Demon Realm story authority, the Dokkaebi King's infrastructure) focused on a single story-layer cut. - #5Apocalypse DragonDisabled

Apocalypse Dragon
type: System Entity — Terminal Disaster / Scenario Cycle Terminator nature: The Apocalypse Dragon is the Star Stream's worst calamity designation — a being over 10,000 years old whose appearance constitutes a declaration that the current scenario cycle has reached structural failure. When the Apocalypse Dragon unfurls its wings of calamity, the sun disappears. Its tail flick does not damage individual entities — it destroys the narrative context that constellations reside within, attacking the story-layer reality that sustains them. It is not a combat encounter waiting to happen. It is the system's failure made manifest. final_dragon_giant_story: The Giant Story 'Final Dragon of the Book of Revelation' activates when the Apocalypse Dragon reveals itself — the story is strong enough to be felt as force across the entire battlefield before any word is spoken. A Giant Story that activates through recognition rather than through narrative action is a story whose weight is so compressed that its mere acknowledgment constitutes deployment. Even the Apocalypse Dragon's appearance, for all its catastrophic reality, is a story. The Star Stream cannot encounter anything without making it into one. dokkaebi_king_betrayal_root: Tens of thousands of years ago, the Dokkaebi King promised the dragons a future in the scenario system where they would be more than the system's recurring villains — always the monster, always the final boss, always defeated and never the protagonist. He promised them sovereignty and agency within the Star Stream's framework. Then he did not deliver. The Apocalypse Dragon's alignment with the Seekers of the End is the consequence of this ancient promise unfulfilled. It is not nihilism. It is a debt come due. seeker_alignment: The Seekers of the End believe the Star Stream's exploitation is wrong enough that total termination is preferable to continuation. The Apocalypse Dragon's alignment with them is not ideological — it does not believe in their philosophy. It is a tactical partnership built on shared immediate interests: both parties want the current scenario cycle to end. Their reasons are entirely different. The convergence of their goals does not require them to share values.Apocalypse Dragon — Notes
prior_generation_distinction: The 'prior-generation' Apocalypse Dragon who appears in the main story is distinct from the current dragon generation's candidates (the Black Flame Dragon and Chimera Dragon were discussed as potential successors). The prior generation's emergence means the cycle reached its terminus while the next generation's candidate had not yet been established — a system failure in the succession of its own crisis mechanism. The Apocalypse Dragon arrived before the system was ready for it. the_reincarnator_identity: The Reincarnator who approached Dokja during the Dragon Festival — who spoke to him about dragons being exploited by scenario after scenario, always the villain, never allowed to be the protagonist, used as content and discarded — was the prior-generation Apocalypse Dragon operating in disguise. The conversation was not casual philosophy. The Dragon was describing its own history and gauging whether anyone present understood why it had made the choice it made. Dokja listened carefully. generational_trauma: The Dokkaebi King's betrayal predates everyone currently alive in the scenario system. The Apocalypse Dragon's grievance is older than most constellations' existence, older than most worldlines' branch points, older than most of the scenario system's current infrastructure. The catastrophe that threatens the present is caused by a wrong committed in a past that most current participants cannot access. apocalypse_as_failure_state: The Great Apocalypse represents the Star Stream's failure to achieve its underlying purpose before the cycle's termination condition arrived. If the probability barrier against the Nameless Ones has been sufficiently maintained and A Single Story has been completed before the Apocalypse Dragon appears, the cycle ends in completion rather than failure. The Apocalypse Dragon's appearance signals that neither condition has been met. The system is ending without having succeeded. - #6Ark Scenario / Final ScenarioDisabled

Ark Scenario / Final Scenario
type: Scenario Arc — Terminal Scenario / System Endpoint nature: The Ark Scenario is the Star Stream's designated ending for a scenario cycle that has reached its conclusion. Great Dokkaebis appear and offer the Ark — a massive floating vessel — as the final structured event. Incarnations who board the Ark as Seeds can leave the worldline, preserving their recorded Fables in the Final Wall's permanent archive. The 'Final Scenario' designation means there are no subsequent scenarios. Whatever happens after is not content for the system's probability economy. It is simply what happens. seed_selection: Not every survivor becomes a Seed. The Seed classification requires accumulated story weight of sufficient grade to produce a Fable worth recording — a story that the Final Wall will preserve as part of its permanent archive of meaningful things that happened in this worldline's scenario cycle. Survivors who accumulated no named stories are not Seeds. They are passengers. The distinction between Seed and passenger is the Star Stream's final sorting of its population: those who generated stories and those who only survived. final_wall_records: The Final Wall records every Seed's Fable as a permanent inscription — the Star Stream's memory of all the meaningful stories it witnessed in a completed cycle. The Final Wall is simultaneously the system's archive and its graveyard: the place where completed worldlines' most significant narratives are preserved after those worldlines end. The Dokkaebi King's true body residing in the Final Wall makes it the intersection of the system's memory and its highest administrative presence. seed_metaphor: Seeds leave their world to potentially grow elsewhere — to carry the possibility of new cycles in other contexts. The Star Stream offers survival through departure and record rather than survival through staying. This is a specific philosophical position embedded in the system's terminal design: at the end, the best outcome is not victory over the scenario cycle. It is carrying something forward.Ark Scenario — Notes
kim_dokja_divergence: Kim Dokja does not board the Ark as a Seed in the expected way. His relationship to the Ark's terminal structure is different from the scenario's standard participant path. He ends up within the Ark's deepest structure — not as a passenger departing with the other survivors, but as something the Ark contains at a different level. The companions' epilogue search for him locates the 3434 Train within the Ark's internal structure, and the final black door at its end. sooyoung_override_failure: Han Sooyoung attempts to write her way through the final black door as tls123 — using her author attribute to exercise authorial control over the story's ending. The door responds: 'You don't have the Overwrite authority.' A story that has left the author's hands is no longer under the author's control. The full stop on the door addresses her as 'tls123' — recognizing her not as a participant but as the author, and telling the author that her authority over this text has ended. The story belongs to everyone who lived it. The author cannot finish it alone. 3434_train: The 3434 Train appears as a navigation structure within the Ark's deepest internal space — a specific location that serves as the approach path to the final black door. Its appearance is not decorative; it is a narrative threshold marker. Reaching the final door requires traversing this internal space rather than simply boarding and arriving. companion_epilogue_search: The Company's search for Dokja within the Ark after the scenario's formal conclusion is the novel's final movement — the people he protected and who grew in his absence now searching for him in the same way he once searched for ways to protect them. The direction of care has reversed. He was the one who knew where everything was. Now they are searching for him. - #7Attribute GradesDisabled

Attribute Grades
type: System Classification — Attribute Strength Rating grades_ascending: Common → Rare → Hero → Unique → Legendary → Myth → ??? common_grade: Present in many incarnations. Provides modest mechanical benefits. Most people who enter the scenario system with no particularly remarkable behavioral patterns receive Common-grade attributes. They are not worthless — even Common attributes provide real bonuses — but they are the baseline. rare_hero_grade: Rare-grade attributes are uncommon; they reflect behavioral patterns that the system identifies as significantly above average in clarity and consistency. Hero-grade attributes typically come with exclusive skills — the pattern is strong enough that the system translates it directly into ability. Jung Heewon's Judge of Evil attribute (Hero-grade) produces her Hour of Judgement skill. unique_legendary_grade: Unique attributes are found in very few incarnations and reflect genuinely rare character profiles — people whose consistent choices across multiple scenarios have established a pattern specific enough that almost no one else would generate the same attribute. Legendary-grade attributes represent someone who has fully committed to a narrative identity in a way the system recognizes as defining rather than transient. myth_grade: Myth-grade attributes represent a person becoming the myth they embody — Yoo Joonghyuk's Horror of the Stars and Regressor attributes at Myth-grade carry narrative weight approaching constellation-level authority. A being with a Myth-grade attribute operating within the right context generates presence effects similar to True Voice on significantly lower-grade beings. ???_grade: The ??? designation appears when the attribute's nature exceeds the classification system's highest category. Only Kim Dokja holds confirmed ???-grade attributes in the main story. The ??? is not an error — it is the system's accurate statement that the attribute exists but cannot be graded.Attribute Grades — Notes
grade_vs_power_discrepancy: Attribute grades do not always cleanly map to power output. The Iron Blood Supreme King attribute (Legendary-grade) is mechanically weaker than the Supreme King attribute (Hero-grade label) in Joonghyuk's specific case — the evolution produced a different attribute that the grade system does not accurately represent. The grading system measures narrative significance; it cannot always keep up with what attributes become through unusual expression. consistency_requirement: Attributes only evolve upward through genuinely consistent expression. Performing a behavior for the purpose of attribute evolution without genuinely embodying it does not produce evolution. The Star Stream's attribute system cannot be easily gamed — it responds to authentic behavioral patterns, not strategic demonstrations. This is partly why Kim Dokja's ??? attributes are so significant: he cannot have planned to develop attributes the system cannot classify. joonghyuk_attribute_stack: Yoo Joonghyuk carries multiple Myth-grade and near-Myth-grade attributes from 1863 regression turns of consistent, extreme expression. His attribute stack is the most concentrated accumulation of behavioral consistency in the story — 1863 turns of being exactly who he is, under maximum pressure, has produced attribute grades that approach the top of the classification system in multiple categories simultaneously. - #8Attributes WindowDisabled

Attributes Window
type: System Interface — Character Information Display access_method: Activated by mentally speaking or subvocalizing the phrase 'Attributes Window.' The interface opens as a visible overlay displaying all character information registered in the system for that incarnation. No physical action is required; the activation is mental. content_categories: Name, age, Modifier (if earned), sponsor status (current constellation patron), stat levels (Physique/Strength/Agility/Magic Power/Luck), exclusive attributes (behavioral classification traits), exclusive skills (active abilities), special positions or roles (Demon King rank, constellation designations, etc.), and current story accumulation if eligible for display. hidden_entries: Many entries display as ??? when the system cannot categorize them or when the information is actively shielded. Kim Dokja's Scenario Interpreter and Apostle attributes display as ???; both exceed the classification system's highest grading tier. The ??? is not an error state — it is accurate notation for information the system registers but cannot assess. time_limit: There is a time limit on how long the Attributes Window can remain open in the same session before probability backlash. The limit is not displayed — it exists as an undocumented system constraint.Attributes Window — Notes
reading_comprehension_incident: When Dokja holds the Attributes Window open one second past the time limit during the 73rd Demon Realm arc, the probability backlash is immediate and severe: the ceiling above him is destroyed as if struck by a meteorite, debris falls, his coat is charred black, and he collapses. The probability storm scales with the excess — one second past the limit produces disaster-scale physical consequences. Minor overage produces minor sparks; major overage produces catastrophic events. system_self_model: The Attributes Window is the Star Stream's self-model of a specific incarnation — what the system knows about you, displayed for you. The gap between what the window shows (including ??? designations) and what is actually true is the gap between the system's understanding of a person and their actual nature. Kim Dokja's window displays ??? for his two most significant attributes because he exceeds what the scenario system was designed to contain. dokkaebi_reading: Dokkaebis can access incarnations' Attributes Windows through System Interference — this is how channel managers monitor their incarnations' development and how the dokkaebi bureau verifies combat outcomes. A dokkaebi reading an incarnation's window without permission is a privacy violation within the system's own ethics framework, though enforcement is inconsistent. window_as_evidence: Incarnations can use their own Attributes Window as evidence in scenario disputes and constellation negotiations — displaying a story acquisition, a stat level, or an attribute evolution to verify a claim. In constellation banquet negotiations, showing your Attributes Window to other constellations is a formal display of credentials. secretive_plotter: The Secretive Plotter (1863rd-turn Yoo Joonghyuk) has attribute window entries that the Star Stream classifies in ways that reflect his cross-worldline origin. The window for a being from a different worldline operating in the 3rd turn contains classification anomalies similar to Dokja's ??? entries — the system knows something unusual is present but cannot fully categorize it. - #9Bounty ScenariosDisabled

Bounty Scenarios
type: System Mechanic — Constellation-Initiated Target Elimination nature: A fourth scenario type (alongside Main, Sub, and Hidden) activated when multiple constellations agree to place a collective bounty on a specific named incarnation. The bounty creates a targeted scenario with one clear condition: the named incarnation's death. Unlike the other scenario types, a Bounty Scenario is created not by the system's automated progression but by constellations exercising their scenario-creation authority collectively. activation_requirements: A single constellation cannot activate a Bounty Scenario alone — the multi-constellation requirement exists as a system check against arbitrary elimination of valuable channels. Multiple constellations must agree, which means either the target has genuinely offended a coalition, or a single powerful constellation has convinced others to participate for shared benefit. The consensus requirement makes Bounty Scenarios relatively rare compared to Sub or Hidden Scenarios. target_notification: The target incarnation receives a system notification identifying them as the Bounty target: the bounty value, the identity of setting constellations (if disclosed), the clear condition (their death), and the scenario duration. Other incarnations in the relevant zone receive the bounty information and reward structure. The target knows what is happening; so does everyone who might want the reward. clear_mechanics: The Bounty Scenario clears when the target dies within the designated duration. If the target survives the duration, the scenario ends without completion — the setting constellations lose their probability investment and the target generates story weight from the survival. Bounty survival is one of the highest story-weight generation events available, because the target was supposed to die and didn't.Bounty Scenarios — Notes
dokja_as_repeat_target: Kim Dokja encounters Bounty Scenarios multiple times because his operational model involves consistently irritating powerful constellations: refusing sponsorship, exposing hidden scenario information that embarrasses established nebulae, undermining constellation authority structures, and generating probability that benefits him rather than them. The constellations who set bounties on him are a rotating coalition of entities he has made into enemies through strategic necessity. bounty_as_probability_event: The probability generated by a Bounty Scenario, if the target survives, is substantially higher than if the target dies. A dead incarnation generates completion probability for the setting constellations; a surviving incarnation generates 'survived assassination' story weight, which is categorized as extraordinary narrative. The system rewards dramatic survival more than scheduled death — which Dokja understands and accounts for. bounty_survival_story: 'Survived a Constellation Bounty' is a named story category in the Star Stream's records — it generates Legendary-grade or higher story weight depending on the number and grade of the setting constellations. Dokja's multiple Bounty survivals are directly contributing to his story accumulation toward the five-story Modifier threshold and beyond. coordination_vulnerability: The multi-constellation requirement for Bounty Scenarios creates a coordination surface that can be exploited. If Dokja can cause distrust or competing interests among the constellations who would otherwise form a bounty coalition, the bounty cannot activate. His management of constellation relationships — maintaining enough ambiguity about his value to prevent unified opposition — is partly a Bounty prevention strategy. - #10Chaos PointsDisabled

Chaos Points
type: System Mechanic — Faction Conflict Measurement nature: A measurement system tracking the accumulation of conflict between Good and Evil factions. Chaos Points rise when factions act against each other — attacks, political manipulation, resource seizure, and constellation deaths all contribute to the accumulation. When specific thresholds are reached, scenario escalations trigger automatically. function: Scenario consequences scale with accumulated Chaos Points — high Chaos Point scenarios tend to involve more extreme scenario conditions, greater probability events, and more direct constellation involvement. The system uses factional conflict as a probability generation mechanism: more conflict equals more chaos equals more compelling narrative. visibility: Chaos Points are tracked and visible through the system interface to qualifying incarnations and constellations. The accumulation is public — everyone can see how close the system is to its next escalation threshold. This transparency is part of the design: knowing the threshold creates pressure that itself generates more conflict. bilateral_escalation: Both factions' actions contribute to the Chaos Point total — it is not one-sided. Good faction aggression raises the count as much as Evil faction aggression. The system's structural incentive to keep both sides fighting is expressed in this bilateral accounting: there is no 'defensive' action that does not generate Chaos Points.Chaos Points — System Incentives
structural_reward_for_conflict: Chaos Points formalize what the Star Stream already does informally — it rewards conflict. High-chaos scenarios produce high probability. The system has a structural incentive to keep Good and Evil factions fighting. The architecture of the cosmos is designed to make peace unprofitable. neutral_party_exemption: Beings who exist outside the Good/Evil binary — like Kim Dokja's Company after the Fruit of Good and Evil event — generate different Chaos Point calculations. Their actions in the Great War register as 'third force' conflict rather than faction conflict, producing a different quality of probability. chaos_points_and_the_war: The Great War of Saints and Demons is the system's Chaos Points mechanism taken to its absolute conclusion — maximum accumulated faction conflict producing the largest probability event in the story's scenario cycle. The war is what Chaos Points were designed to eventually produce. manipulation_possibility: An entity who understands the Chaos Points system can manipulate it — triggering targeted incidents that raise the count without benefiting either faction directly. Dokja's operations frequently produce Chaos Point escalations that he then exploits for hidden scenario opportunities. - #11Coins and the Dokkaebi BagDisabled

Coins and the Dokkaebi Bag
type: System Economy — Currency and Shop coins: The standard currency of the scenario system. Earned through scenario completion, constellation sponsorship sends (viewers sending coins to incarnations they like), sub-scenario completions, hidden piece discoveries, and channel performance bonuses. Spent at the Dokkaebi Bag for upgrades, items, and skill books. dokkaebi_bag: The dokkaebi-managed item shop accessible to all incarnations through the system interface. Items range from basic consumables (recovery potions, portable accommodation) to rare privilege items (Recluse's Cloak at 3,000 coins for gold members). A full catalog exists but most rare items have purchase conditions beyond just coin possession. membership_tiers: The Dokkaebi Bag has membership tiers — bronze, silver, gold, and higher. Higher tiers unlock access to better items, lower purchase prices, and exclusive catalog items. Tier is determined by channel performance metrics, not coin amount. stat_upgrade_economy: Upgrading stats through the Dokkaebi Bag costs coins with exponential scaling. The jump from Physique Lv. 80 to Lv. 90 costs dramatically more than the jump from Lv. 10 to Lv. 20. This keeps incarnations stratified — coin accumulation rate cannot outpace the cost curve without extraordinary scenario performance. skill_books: Skill books teach specific exclusive skills — they can be purchased, found as scenario drops, or received as constellation gifts. Dokja deliberately purchases Preserve Humidity (a moisturizer skill) before a negotiation; it appears listed in his Attributes Window, indicating skill books write to the character file permanently.Coins — The Full Economy
probability_conversion: Coins paid to the Dokkaebi Bag flow through the dokkaebi system and convert to probability for constellation use. Every coin spent by an incarnation ultimately fuels the constellation viewing experience. The coin economy is the probability economy in human-scale units — the shop is the system's most efficient extraction mechanism. sponsorship_coins: Constellations send coins directly to sponsored incarnations as encouragement during scenarios — the equivalent of viewers tipping a streamer. Large coin sends are rare and significant; they indicate a constellation investing extra probability in a specific moment. The size of a coin send is a direct expression of how emotionally invested a constellation is. coin_income_stratification: Early-game incarnations without sponsors barely accumulate enough coins to upgrade basic stats. Mid-game incarnations with active sponsors can maintain reasonable upgrade rates. Top-tier incarnations like Joonghyuk generate coins at rates that others cannot match through any means — the system rewards narrative excellence with economic dominance. cons_of_coin_dependency: The coin economy creates vulnerability — an incarnation who spends all their coins on a specific upgrade path cannot pivot when circumstances change. Dokja's approach of maintaining coin reserves and spending strategically rather than maximizing upgrades is one of the ways his knowledge-based optimization differs from raw power-maximization. - #12ConclusionsDisabled

Conclusions
type: System Mechanic — Narrative Endpoint for Great Fables nature: When a Giant Story reaches sufficient narrative maturity — when the Star Stream judges that the story has generated enough probability, survived enough crises, and accumulated enough meaning to have a defined ending — the system proposes named Conclusions. These are the possible endings for that specific story. Every Giant Story will eventually reach this moment; the question is which Conclusion its participants choose. choice_mechanism: The Star Stream presents 2-3+ named Conclusion options to qualifying story participants. Each named Conclusion represents a different meaning for everything the story contained — different interpretations of the same events leading to different permanent records. The participants collectively select. The selection is irreversible. After a Conclusion is selected, the Giant Story is fixed: its name, its record, its probability inheritance, and its relationship to future stories are all permanently set. irreversibility_significance: Choosing a Conclusion cannot be undone. The story that the Giant Story becomes — through its Conclusion selection — is the story that the Star Stream records permanently. This means the act of choosing a Conclusion is the act of deciding what the story meant. Not what happened, but what it meant. probability_output: Different Conclusions produce different probability outputs and different story inheritances for the participants. A Conclusion that emphasizes sacrifice produces different downstream story weight than a Conclusion that emphasizes victory. The system's Conclusions are not neutral — each one shapes what the story leaves behind. Conclusions — Notes
saviour_of_the_star_conclusion: The Saviour of the Star Giant Story's Conclusion selection is the novel's ultimate statement about what kind of story the Company wants to be. The choice between the available Conclusions is the choice between different meanings for everything they did — every sacrifice, every relationship, every death, every survival. The Conclusion is the answer to the question the story asked. constraint_on_author_parallel: Han Sooyoung's role as the author who writes the story but cannot control its Conclusion is the meta-narrative equivalent of the mechanic. When she attempts to write her way through the final black door as tls123, she receives: 'You don't have the Overwrite authority.' A story that has left the author's hands is no longer under the author's control. The Giant Story's Conclusion cannot be overwritten by the person who wrote it — because it is no longer only theirs. It belongs to everyone who lived it. collective_vs_individual: Individual stories do not have Conclusions — they simply end with their holder's death or ascension. Only Giant Stories (collective narratives) accumulate enough shared weight to generate Conclusion proposals. The Conclusion mechanic is the system's acknowledgment that some stories are larger than any individual participant — their ending belongs to everyone who made them. story_inheritance: The Conclusion selection determines what probability and story authority the Giant Story's legacy provides to its participants afterward. A Conclusion that emphasizes continuity provides forward-oriented story inheritance; a Conclusion that emphasizes completion provides a different kind of probability yield. The optimal Conclusion is not a strategic calculation — it is a values question. - #13Constellation BanquetDisabled

Constellation Banquet
type: System Event — Hidden Scenario Social Gathering nature: A hidden scenario event in which constellations gather in a designated social space for negotiation, alliance-building, story evaluation, and incarnation observation outside the standard scenario pressure context. The banquet's hidden scenario status means most incarnations are unaware it is occurring — only those with sufficient knowledge of the system's hidden event triggers (or those with the right invitation) participate. The banquet functions as the Star Stream's diplomatic function: a venue where what cannot be negotiated in combat can be negotiated in conversation. atmosphere: The banquet space operates by social rather than combat rules — direct attacks are not available within the venue's boundaries, and the constellation participants are present as social actors rather than as the overwhelming powers they are in scenario space. An incarnation attending the banquet faces the same beings whose True Voice could kill them in scenario space, interacting in a context where that power is not deployable. The inversion — being in the same room as myth-grade constellations as a conversational equal — is deliberate. The banquet is where deals happen. dokja_participation: Kim Dokja's participation in the constellation banquet is among the mid-game arcs' most politically consequential events. His interactions there accomplish multiple objectives simultaneously: formal introduction to the Gourmet Association and receipt of the Bracelet Expedition invitation, a meeting with Korean mythology nebula representatives that advances his national alliance framework, and the formal proposal to establish his own nebula using the Provisional Nebula Creation Ticket. nebula_proposal_context: The banquet is the ideal venue for the nebula proposal because all relevant constellations are present simultaneously in a context where political negotiation is the expected activity. Proposing a new nebula in this setting — before an assembled audience of established constellation groups, with the Provisional Nebula Creation Ticket as the formal mechanism — produces the maximum possible political visibility for the proposal. If Dokja is going to establish a nebula without meeting the standard creation requirements, the banquet is the place to do it where the result cannot be easily reversed by private dokkaebi administration pressure afterward.Constellation Banquet — Notes
gourmet_association_encounter: The banquet is the Gourmet Association's first formal engagement with Kim Dokja as a participant rather than a watched channel. The Morning Star Goddess's question — 'What is your modifier?' — is a culinary inquiry that produces the answer 'Demon King of Salvation.' The combination of sweet salvation inside the structure of demonic authority is the narrative flavor she was not expecting and could not have predicted from standard channel observation. The Bracelet Expedition invitation follows from this moment of recognition. political_landscape: The banquet's attendees reflect the full political landscape of the Star Stream's mid-game constellation hierarchy — all major nebulae have representatives, all major alliance structures are visible, and the tensions between them are navigable in the social context in ways they are not in direct scenario combat. Dokja uses this visibility deliberately: he needs to be seen, assessed, and found interesting by the right constellations, and the banquet provides the opportunity to engineer exactly those assessments. hidden_scenario_advantage: The banquet's hidden scenario status means that incarnations who do not know it is occurring cannot attend. The information barrier around the event is part of its political value — what is negotiated there is negotiated among those who already have sufficient knowledge and standing to participate. Dokja's attendance is only possible because Ways of Survival documented the banquet's existence, timing, and trigger conditions. His knowledge converts a hidden event into an accessible one. ceremony_and_function: Banquet protocol includes formal presentation of credentials (showing Attributes Windows as evidence of claimed status), the traditional constellation greeting rituals, and the social hierarchies that determine seating and speaking order. Dokja's navigation of these social protocols — using both his foreknowledge of banquet customs from Ways of Survival and his characteristic willingness to ignore conventions when they constrain his goals — produces interactions that most constellation attendees find simultaneously amusing and alarming. - #14Constellation GradesDisabled

Constellation Grades
type: System Classification — Constellation Power Rating three_grades: Historical-grade → Narrative-grade (Fable-grade) → Myth-grade historical_grade: Historical-grade constellations are the most numerically common — figures from history or mythology who accumulated enough stories to transcend death but did not reach supreme significance. An Junggeun (the Harbin Sniper) is Historical-grade: a genuinely significant historical figure whose story is real and weighty, but not civilization-defining at the scale required for Narrative-grade. Historical-grade constellations generate modest probability per viewing engagement and cannot fund enormously expensive Deus Ex Machina interventions without depleting their reserves. narrative_fable_grade: Narrative-grade (also called Fable-grade) constellations represent figures whose stories have shaped cultures, mythological traditions within a bounded region, or had significance at the scale of nations. Kim Dokja ascends to Narrative-grade as the Demon King of Salvation. Narrative-grade constellations are powerful enough to engage in direct constellation combat without being immediately overwhelmed by Myth-grade entities, though the gap remains significant. myth_grade: Myth-grade constellations are the supreme beings of the Star Stream — their stories have shaped civilizations at the deepest level, defined the mythological consciousness of entire peoples across generations. Zeus, Odin, Ra, Metatron, Baal, Poseidon, Dangun Wanggeom, and the Apocalypse Dragon are Myth-grade. True Body manifestation for Myth-grade constellations produces world-affecting physical events. Their True Voice is lethal to most beings below Narrative-grade. grade_gap_significance: The gap between each grade is not linear. A Narrative-grade constellation is significantly more powerful than a Historical-grade one; a Myth-grade constellation is categorically more powerful than a Narrative-grade one. In direct combat, grade differential matters more than any other factor until Story Control and Giant Stories close the gap through accumulated narrative weight.Constellation Grades — Notes
one_single_story_candidacy: Myth-grade constellations are candidates for One Single Story — the status above Myth that only one being can hold simultaneously. The Oldest Dream is the only being who has achieved this, through means that the system's records cannot explain. The path from Myth-grade to One Single Story status is the Star Stream's deepest unsolved problem: what story could a being accumulate that exceeds the Myth ceiling? grade_and_probability_output: Grade determines probability generation capacity per engagement. A Myth-grade constellation doing anything visible generates more probability than a Historical-grade constellation doing the same thing — not because the action is more significant but because the being performing it carries more narrative weight. The audience watching Uriel descend is larger and pays more probability than the audience watching a Historical-grade constellation make the same descent. grade_degradation: Some Historical-grade constellations have degraded over millennia — their stories are from distant history, their contemporary relevance has faded, and their ability to generate probability from current viewers has weakened. These constellations depend on ongoing probability flows from new scenarios to maintain their existence. The scenario system is simultaneously their entertainment and their life support. kim_dokja_trajectory: Dokja reaching Narrative-grade is the novel's mid-game power threshold; his eventual movement toward One Single Story status is the endgame. His grade trajectory is compressed compared to historical constellations — 1863 regressions of accumulated story history flowing through one human body across a single scenario cycle. - #15Constellation Sponsorship SystemDisabled

Constellation Sponsorship System
type: System Mechanic — Constellation-Incarnation Relationship Structure nature: The mechanism through which constellations and incarnations are formally connected. A constellation sponsors an incarnation by sending coins during scenarios and eventually offering a formal contract — granting stigmas in exchange for the incarnation generating compelling stories. The relationship is simultaneously economic (probability production), social (the constellation invests in a specific person), and political (faction alignment follows sponsorship chains). selection_process: Sponsor Selection events occur periodically — all available constellations simultaneously evaluate unsponsored incarnations and compete to sign them. Popular potential incarnations receive multiple offers. The competition between constellations for top-tier incarnation talent mirrors the competition between sponsors in any entertainment industry. contract_terms: Sponsorship contracts specify what the incarnation receives (stigmas, coins, Deus Ex Machina access, faction protection) and what they owe (compelling stories, loyalty to the constellation's interests in faction conflicts, availability for broadcast). The terms are negotiable at the highest levels. asymmetry: The relationship is fundamentally asymmetric — incarnations risk their lives for stories; constellations consume those stories safely. But the emotional asymmetry can run both ways: constellations who become genuinely invested in their incarnations are capable of enormous sacrifice on their behalf. Uriel descending into the 73rd Demon Realm is not the act of a comfortable audience member. faction_alignment: Sponsorship by a constellation from a specific nebula partially aligns the incarnation with that nebula's faction. An incarnation sponsored by Uriel (Eden) accumulates Good Points and may be drawn into Eden's conflicts. Sponsorship is not just a power source; it is a political commitment.Sponsorship — Dokja's Unusual Position
no_sponsor_early: Kim Dokja went through Sponsor Selection without accepting any sponsor — deliberately burning bridges to avoid commitments that would constrain his operation. The constellations watching his channel found his refusal entertaining enough to keep watching without formal sponsorship. He generates extraordinary probability while giving the system no formal claim on him. behind_the_scenes_contract: After becoming a constellation himself, Dokja is technically his own sponsor. He uses the Behind-the-Scenes Contract mechanic to provide support to incarnations without appearing in their sponsor lists — operating as a human supporter rather than a constellation patron. He receives no probability in return. He does it because he wants to. constellation_as_reader: Dokja's approach to sponsoring the people around him mirrors his approach to reading Ways of Survival — he invested in the characters before they knew he existed. The sponsorship system is, in his hands, a way of continuing to love people from behind a wall. sponsorship_without_contract: Some constellations watch and send coins to Dokja without formal sponsorship — they are invested without being committed. This informal support is valuable but unreliable. The Pavilion of Stars' interest in Dokja during early arcs represents this form of non-contractual engagement. - #16ConstellationsDisabled

Constellations
type: Sponsors and Narrative Consumers — Beings Who Power the System nature: Ancient beings who have accumulated enough stories to transcend mortal existence and become fixed points in the Star Stream. Constellations exist as accumulated narratives — they are their stories. They consume probability generated by incarnations' scenarios as entertainment and sustenance. origin: Constellations are former living beings — historical figures, mythological entities, or beings from other worlds who accumulated enough narrative weight during their lives to transcend death. The transition from living being to constellation is the moment their stories become larger than their body. grades: Historical-grade (lowest) → Narrative-grade (Fable-grade) → Myth-grade. Grade reflects accumulated story weight, probability output capacity, and narrative authority in the Star Stream. sponsorship: Constellations sponsor incarnations — providing coins, stigmas, and Deus Ex Machina interventions in exchange for the incarnation generating compelling stories. The relationship is asymmetric: incarnations risk their lives; constellations watch and benefit. The best constellations invest emotionally in their incarnations. The worst treat them as disposable content. constellation_politics: Constellations form nebulae, negotiate alliances, and conduct proxy wars through their sponsored incarnations. Constellation politics is the high-level layer of conflict that scenario events reflect — when two nebulae's incarnations clash, it is often their sponsors' disputes made physical.Constellations — What They Are
story_nature: Constellations exist as stories in their true form. Their physical manifestation (true body or symbolic body) requires probability expenditure. Destroying a constellation's physical body does not kill it — only erasing its stories does. This makes permanent constellation death require a different kind of attack entirely. watching_structure: Constellations watch scenarios through channels managed by dokkaebis. Their viewing generates probability and their emotional investment (sponsorship coins) provides material support to their chosen incarnations. Constellations who stop watching their sponsored incarnation's channel are constellations who have withdrawn their protection. probability_sustenance: Some constellations require ongoing probability consumption to maintain their existence — their story weight has degraded over millennia and they depend on current-generation probability flows to persist. This creates a genuine self-interest in the scenario system's continuation. constellation_death: When a constellation's stories are fully erased — through story-level attacks, through the Outer Gods' consumption, or through specific high-level scenarios — the constellation ceases to exist at any meaningful level. This is permanent. There is no recovery from total story erasure. dokja_as_constellation: Kim Dokja becoming a constellation (Demon King of Salvation) at the Narrative-grade is the moment the novel's power dynamic fundamentally shifts — he stops being something constellations watch and becomes something that participates in constellation politics. A character becoming a reader, in a sense. - #17Demon King Ranks / PromotionDisabled

Demon King Ranks / Promotion
type: System Structure — Demon King Hierarchy and Political Framework nature: The Demon King hierarchy consists of 73 ranked positions (1st through 73rd, with 1st being most powerful) occupied by constellations who have undergone the full descent into absolute Evil alignment — beings who abandoned their prior narrative identity, accepted the Absolute Evil faction's story weight as their new foundation, and emerged as a fundamentally different category of entity. The transition from constellation to Demon King is irreversible. What a Demon King was before is consumed by what the descent makes them. corruption_mechanism: Becoming a Demon King is not achieved through combat alone — it requires narrative submission to absolute Evil, a story-level transformation that restructures the constellation's fundamental identity. The result is a being whose stories are now Evil-aligned at every layer: not a person who does evil things, but a being whose existence is the expression of specific Evil-faction story authority. The Demon King is their corruption made permanent. promotion_battles: Rankings are not fixed at designation. They change through formal promotion battles — a lower-ranked Demon King may formally challenge a higher-ranked one. If the challenger wins, they take the higher rank; the defeated Demon King drops to a lower position or is expelled from the hierarchy. The 73rd rank (lowest entry point) is the most contested because it is accessible to new claimants while the upper ranks are defended by beings who have had centuries to consolidate their position. baal_vacuum: Baal (1st rank, Myth-grade) is imprisoned — held outside the active hierarchy, unable to defend or exercise his rank, but not destroyed. His absence creates the single largest power vacuum in the Star Stream's Evil faction: the most powerful Demon King position is nominally occupied by a being who cannot act. Every Demon King above the 2nd rank exists in the shadow of this vacancy — the implicit knowledge that nothing currently active approaches Baal's actual power.Demon King Ranks — Notes
kim_dokja_ascension: Kim Dokja claiming the 73rd Demon King rank is structurally unprecedented. The rank was designed for beings who completed the Evil-faction descent — who sacrificed their prior identity to become Demon Kings. Dokja claims it without completing the standard descent. He enters through the Demon King Selection's political mechanism rather than the corruption mechanism. The system registers his claim. The Star Stream's notation in his Attributes Window during the registration visibly malfunctions trying to categorize what it is recording. demonic_transformation_access: Claiming the 73rd rank gives Dokja access to the Demon King Transformation — a physical combat form that draws on Evil-aligned story weight as raw power. Combined with the Angel Transformation from the Fruit of Good and Evil, the dual-transformation form is the physical expression of his classification failure. He is simultaneously classified as both poles of the Good/Evil binary. The system cannot hold this; it registers him as neither and both. eighty_first_vs_seventy_third: The 73rd is the highest-numbered (lowest-ranked) position, which is why it is simultaneously the most contested and the most accessible entry point. Upper ranks (1st–10th) are occupied by beings so far above normal Demon King capability that challenging them is functionally impossible for most Demon Kings. The practical political competition concentrates at the boundary between the accessible mid-ranks and the lower ranks. political_structure_function: The Demon King hierarchy provides the Evil faction with a formalized power structure that parallels the Good faction's nebula alliances. The hierarchy's existence means Evil-faction conflicts have institutional channels — the promotion battle system — which prevents the faction from destroying itself through unstructured internal conflict. The hierarchy is exploitation-as-order: it channels violence into a format the Star Stream can monetize. - #18Deus Ex MachinaDisabled

Deus Ex Machina
type: System Mechanic — Constellation Direct Physical Intervention nature: The ability of constellations to forcibly intervene in scenarios by sacrificing enormous probability reserves — bypassing the normal indirect influence channels (coins, stigmas, channel pressure) to physically alter events in real time. A Deus Ex Machina intervention manifests as a visible, undeniable miracle in the scenario space: a bridge of pure light across an impassable gap, a healing rain that restores dying incarnations, a weapon appearing in an empty hand, a barrier that blocks what should not be blockable. The constellation's probability becomes reality. probability_cost: Deus Ex Machina interventions consume probability at rates that make even high-grade constellations hesitate. The cost scales with the intervention's impact: a minor stabilizing effect costs less; directly altering a death outcome costs enormously. The Star Stream intentionally prices these interventions high — the system needs narrative tension, and constellations who can simply buy their way to their incarnation surviving would produce probability that lacks genuine stakes. star_stream_penalty: Beyond the direct probability cost, the Star Stream applies a structural penalty to Deus Ex Machina use — a probability tax on the intervention that makes repeated use within short windows increasingly expensive. This compounding penalty is why constellations cannot simply chain interventions to guarantee incarnation survival. Each subsequent intervention costs more than the last within the same scenario window. manifestaton_visibility: Deus Ex Machina interventions are visible to all participants in the scenario space. There is no subtle version. When a constellation spends this much probability, the result is a visible miracle — everyone present knows that a constellation intervened directly. This visibility is part of the design: it generates story (the moment a god intervened for their chosen person is narratively potent) and it signals to other constellations what the intervening party is willing to spend.Deus Ex Machina — Notes
sangah_bridge: Yoo Sangah's sponsor providing a Deus Ex Machina bridge during the Dongho Bridge collapse — an intervention at a cost that most constellations would not authorize — is the first indication that the constellation(s) sponsoring her have unusual capability or unusual investment in her survival. Han Sooyoung notes that the degree of support is significant. The intervention reveals the sponsor before the sponsor is named. uriel_comparison: Uriel's personal True Body descent into the 73rd Demon Realm is explicitly noted to cost more probability than a Deus Ex Machina intervention. This establishes the cost hierarchy: standard Deus Ex Machina → extended intervention → True Body manifestation, each more expensive than the last. A constellation choosing True Body descent over Deus Ex Machina has made a more expensive commitment, not an equivalent one. drama_preservation_function: The Deus Ex Machina penalty is explicitly a drama-preservation mechanism. If constellations could solve scenarios for their incarnations at low cost, the stories would lose the tension that makes them valuable probability sources. The penalty structure ensures that intervention is always a sacrifice — when a constellation pays for a Deus Ex Machina, they are spending something real to preserve something they care about. That caring is what makes the probability generated afterward meaningful. collective_deus_ex_machina: Multiple constellations can contribute probability to a single Deus Ex Machina intervention — pooling resources for a larger effect than any individual could produce alone. This is one of the practical functions of nebula probability pools: collective interventions in high-value scenarios where individual constellation reserves would be insufficient. The Great War's constellation combat sequences include coordinated Deus Ex Machina applications that no single nebula member could execute independently. - #19Dimensional Movement / World TravelDisabled

Dimensional Movement / World Travel
type: System Mechanic — Cross-Scenario Zone and Cross-World Transit nature: The system for traveling between distinct scenario worlds — moving from one national dome to another, between Worldviews, or to alien planets under the Star Stream's scenario infrastructure. Standard dimensional movement requires two components operating together: a Protection Symbol (dimensional transit authority) and a Warp Crystal (dimensional transit execution). Neither component alone produces a crossing. protection_symbol: The dimensional transit authority item, dropped as a loot reward from defeating Returnees. The Protection Symbol works because it extracts the dimensional transit authority encoded in a Returnee's body — the physical residue of having crossed between worlds successfully. A Returnee earned the right to cross dimensions by surviving the crossing. That earned authority is crystallized in the Protection Symbol and can be used by whoever holds it. The item is not a manufactured key; it is a stolen permission. warp_crystal: The execution component of dimensional travel. Once the Protection Symbol authorizes a destination — providing the 'you are allowed to cross' authority — the Warp Crystal performs the physical transit. The Warp Crystal is the mechanism; the Protection Symbol is what makes the mechanism point somewhere instead of nowhere. A Warp Crystal used without an appropriate Protection Symbol produces nothing. cross_dome_travel: Moving between national scenario domes (Seoul to Tokyo, Seoul to Peace Land) uses the Protection Symbol and Warp Crystal standard combination. The destination must be accessible from the Protection Symbol's encoded permission scope — not all Protection Symbols authorize the same destinations. A Protection Symbol dropped by a Returnee who crossed from Planetary System 9871 authorizes transit to that system; it does not authorize transit to the 73rd Demon Realm.Dimensional Movement — Notes
cross_worldline_distinction: Dimensional movement between scenario zones within the same worldline (the Seoul Dome to Peace Land) uses Protection Symbols and Warp Crystals. Cross-worldline movement — moving between the 3rd turn's worldline and the 1863rd turn's worldline — requires entirely different mechanics. Outer World Covenants, Avatar soul splits, or the Dokkaebi King's direct administrative access to worldline-crossing infrastructure are the mechanisms for cross-worldline transit. Protection Symbols and Warp Crystals operate within a single worldline's dimensional fabric; they cannot cross the barriers between separate worldlines. protection_symbol_economy: Protection Symbols are valuable trade goods in the mid-game scenario economy — not because dimensional travel is constantly needed, but because having the option is strategically significant. An incarnation faction that controls several Protection Symbols has operational mobility that faction-bound groups lack. Dokja's acquisition of Protection Symbols from Disaster and Returnee encounters is part of his systematic removal of operational constraints. cross_dome_political_implications: The ability to cross between national scenario domes is itself politically significant — most incarnation factions are confined to their origin dome and cannot intervene in other domes' scenarios. Factions with dimensional travel capability can project force beyond their local dome's boundaries, conduct strategic operations in other zones, and gather intelligence on how other domes' scenarios are progressing. The Tokyo dome's ability to project force into Peace Land via the Yamata no Orochi is enabled by exactly this kind of dimensional transit infrastructure. dimensional_movement_upgrade: As the story progresses and the Company develops institutional resources, their dimensional movement capabilities expand beyond standard Protection Symbol and Warp Crystal mechanics. The Library Inside the Fourth Wall provides cross-dimensional information access; constellation-level operations during the Great War involve transit mechanics that exceed what standard scenario-tier dimensional movement provides. - #20DisastersDisabled

Disasters
type: System Entity — Catastrophic Beings / Scenario Triggers nature: Disaster-class entities are beings whose power level, narrative weight, or physical presence is sufficient to qualify as an existential threat to a scenario zone's incarnation population. When a Disaster-class entity appears within a scenario dome's boundaries, the Star Stream automatically generates a Disaster scenario — converting what would otherwise be an unmanaged catastrophe into a structured probability event with clear conditions and compensation. The system monetizes the apocalypse. earth_disasters: Five named Disasters emerge in Earth's scenario cycle: the Disaster of Floods, the Disaster of Questions (Myung Ilsang), the Disaster of Burning Hell, the Disaster of Water, and the Disaster of Ice. Their appearances are distributed across different scenario arcs — they do not arrive simultaneously. Kim Dokja's Ways of Survival knowledge identifies each Disaster before they manifest, which allows preparation that gives the Company a categorical advantage over every other group encountering them. returnee_origin: Most Disasters are Returnees — humans who were summoned from Earth to another world's scenario system, survived long enough in that alien environment to surpass human biological limits through sheer force of survival, and eventually returned to Earth. The transcendence they achieved in the other world gives them a power level that the Star Stream's classification system registers as disaster-grade. They returned home. Their home's system cannot contain them. star_stream_conversion: The Disaster classification is the Star Stream's structural response to an unmanageable power differential. Rather than attempting to prevent or suppress a Disaster (which the system lacks the infrastructure to do), it reframes the Disaster's appearance as a scenario event. This conversion serves two functions simultaneously: it gives incarnations a structured challenge with real rewards rather than pure catastrophic encounter, and it generates enormous probability from the confrontation. The system cannot prevent disasters, but it can monetize them.Disasters — Notes
myung_ilsang: Myung Ilsang (Disaster of Questions) is the most carefully detailed Disaster in the main story. He hatched early — emerging before his full power had developed — which imposed an early-hatching penalty that suppressed his effective stat ceiling. He circumvents this suppression by answering questions: each answer unseals a portion of the suppressed capability. His appearance causes a probability storm that rearranges Gangdong-gu's physical landscape. Even suppressed and answering to unlock himself, he is the most dangerous non-Joonghyuk entity the early Company encounters. disaster_probability_yield: A Disaster scenario generates vastly more probability than a standard main scenario of comparable duration — the lethality risk, the narrative stakes, and the participation of beings who have already survived alien worlds makes the story weight immense. Constellations who were watching the Seoul dome primarily for Joonghyuk's channel frequently expand their viewership during Disaster appearances because the encounters are among the highest-quality content the system produces. knowledge_advantage_limit: Even with Dokja's foreknowledge of each Disaster's identity and abilities from Ways of Survival, surviving the encounters requires the Company to have developed sufficient capability in advance. Foreknowledge tells you what is coming and what its weaknesses are. It does not substitute for the strength required to exploit those weaknesses. The gap between knowing and being able is where the mid-game arcs operate. disaster_narrative_function: Each Disaster's appearance represents a threshold event — a point where the Company either grows enough to clear the encounter or is destroyed by it. The five Disasters of Earth are structured tests of the Company's development trajectory: too slow and the Disaster arrives before the capability to face it has been built; too fast and the Disaster appears before its specific counters have been obtained. - #21Dokkaebi Bureau RanksDisabled

Dokkaebi Bureau Ranks
type: System Hierarchy — Dokkaebi Administrative Structure ranks_ascending: Low-grade → Intermediate → High → Great → Dokkaebi King low_intermediate_grade: The working level of the dokkaebi administration — channel managers and local scenario administrators. Bihyung and Dokgak both operate at the low-to-intermediate tier. System Interference access at this level is limited to their assigned channel zone: they can view their incarnation's Attributes Window, adjust local scenario conditions within prescribed limits, and report to higher-grade dokkaebis. They cannot override other channel managers or access cross-channel probability data. high_great_grade: High and Great-grade dokkaebis have executive-level authority — they manage entire scenario regions, oversee pools of lower-ranked dokkaebis, and have the authority to detain constellations who violate probability laws. Baram (Bureau High Commander) holds a High-grade designation; Halong (the Dokkaebi King's messenger and direct operative) is Great-grade. Great-grade dokkaebis have access to the Star Stream's core System Interference functions. promotion_mechanism: Rank advancement is determined by channel performance metrics (viewership volume, probability generated, narrative quality ratings) and Bureau assessment. A dokkaebi whose channel consistently produces high-value probability events is promoted. Bihyung's explicit ambition — 'king of dokkaebis' — is the promotional endpoint of this metric system taken to its logical conclusion. dokkaebi_king_status: The Dokkaebi King occupies a position outside the promotion hierarchy entirely. He was not promoted through the Bureau system; he is the origin point from which the current Bureau's authority structure derives. His true body is within the Final Wall, and he has operated the Star Stream since before the current Bureau's hierarchy existed.Dokkaebi Bureau — Notes
bihyung_vs_dokgak: Bihyung and Dokgak's rivalry is the low-grade dokkaebi competition in miniature. Dokgak is procedurally correct and rule-bound; Bihyung is entrepreneurially ambitious and willing to negotiate unusual arrangements. Both operate at the same rank tier; their conflict is over channel position and Bureau recognition. Bihyung's stream contract with Dokja gives him the channel performance metrics that Dokgak cannot match through conventional management. administration_bureau_enforcement: The Administration Bureau's Executive Branch is the enforcement arm — responsible for detaining constellations who violate probability laws, monitoring cross-nebula disputes, and enforcing scenario conditions against participants who attempt to circumvent them. Kyrgios Rodgraim (the Lighthouse constellation) was detained in the Executive Branch's facilities. The Bureau has real enforcement power over constellations, not just incarnations. bihyung_character_arc: Bihyung enters a stream contract with Dokja for purely selfish reasons — he recognizes a high-value channel asset and wants exclusive rights to it. His arc across the story is the transformation of a commercial relationship into genuine investment: a greedy, ambitious dokkaebi who slowly becomes someone who actually cares whether his incarnation survives and what happens to his incarnation's story. Not a personality transplant — a revelation of what was already present under the professional calculation. halong: Halong is the Great-grade dokkaebi who serves as the Dokkaebi King's direct communications channel — the messenger who carries the King's instructions to the Bureau hierarchy. Halong's Great-grade status makes her one of the most powerful operational dokkaebis below the King himself. Her communications carry the King's authority; responses to her are responses to the King. - #22Dokkaebi King / Story KingDisabled

Dokkaebi King / Story King
type: Supreme Administrator — Star Stream's Primary Architect nature: The oldest dokkaebi — older than the scenario system as currently constituted, older than the current dokkaebi Bureau hierarchy, present before the Wenny People were replaced. The Dokkaebi King is the supreme ruler of the Bureau and simultaneously the hidden architect of the sequence of events that produced Kim Dokja as the Star Stream's candidate for One Single Story. He operates at a remove from all active scenarios, with his true body residing within Kim Dokja's Fourth Wall. fourth_wall_location: The Dokkaebi King's true body exists inside Kim Dokja's Fourth Wall. This is not a late-game revelation of something separate from the wall's behavior — it explains everything the Fourth Wall has done from the beginning. The wall's protective behavior, its autonomy in crisis situations, the broken-spacing communications it occasionally produces — all of these are the Dokkaebi King, the oldest being in the Star Stream's administration, operating from within the most protected space in the system to guard the person he was asked to guard. hidden_sentences: The sentences hidden on the Fourth Wall read: 'That great one must be protected' and 'That is the last favour the god asked of me.' The Oldest Dream — the entity above all Star Stream hierarchy — asked a favor of the Dokkaebi King. The favor was Kim Dokja. The Dokkaebi King agreed to embed himself within the Fourth Wall to fulfill it. tls123_assistance: The Dokkaebi King arranged for information about Yoo Joonghyuk's 1863 regression cycles to be transmitted across worldline barriers to Han Sooyoung (tls123). The novel Ways of Survival exists because the Dokkaebi King carried out this arrangement — the information should have been inaccessible across worldlines; the King made it accessible. The story that Kim Dokja read for years, alone, that no one else cared about, was a story the King helped write through worldline-crossing information transfer.Dokkaebi King — Notes
apocalypse_dragon_debt: Tens of thousands of years ago, the Dokkaebi King offered the dragons a future in which they would be masters of the scenario system — not always the villain, always the monster, always the defeated — and then deceived them. He did not deliver the promised world. The Apocalypse Dragon's alignment with the Seekers of the End in the main story's timeline is built entirely on this historical grievance. The Great Apocalypse, as a cataclysm, is partially the consequence of a promise the Dokkaebi King made before anyone in the current scenario cycle was alive. wenny_people_history: The Dokkaebi King's age means he was present for the transition from Wenny People administration to dokkaebi administration. He knows what happened to the Wenny People. His silence on the topic — his refusal to discuss the transition — is itself a significant data point. The oldest administrator of the system that replaced them has chosen not to explain the replacement. biyoo_succession: Biyoo — Bihyung's daughter, the dokkaebi who became attached to Kim Dokja's story through her father's channel — becomes the next Dokkaebi King after the events of the main story. The succession from an ancient being who operated the system for millennia to a young dokkaebi who genuinely cares about a specific human is the Star Stream's version of generational change. The Dokkaebi King embedded in the Fourth Wall, fulfilling an ancient promise, passes authority to a child who learned about stories by watching her father care about his incarnation. awareness_scope: The Dokkaebi King has known about Kim Dokja since before the scenario activation — his presence within the Fourth Wall predates the scenario system's deployment to Earth. He set up the protection before Dokja entered the scenarios. The 'awareness of Kim Dokja since before the main story begins' is not future-sight; it is the Oldest Dream's designation, communicated to the King, translated into the protective measure of embedding himself within the wall. - #23DokkaebisDisabled

Dokkaebis
type: Scenario Managers and Channel Operators nature: Blue-purple energy beings who manage the Star Stream's scenario system. Dokkaebis are the operational layer between the system's abstract probability mechanics and the concrete experience of scenarios. They deploy scenarios, manage channels, enforce rules, and handle the administrative functions of the Star Stream. appearance: Dokkaebis typically appear as glowing humanoid forms of blue-purple light, varying in size and luminosity with rank. Higher-ranked dokkaebis radiate more intense light. The Dokkaebi King's true form, hidden inside the Fourth Wall, is described as ancient and vast beyond normal dokkaebi scale. hierarchy: Low-grade → Intermediate → High → Great → Dokkaebi King. Rank is determined by channel viewership metrics and bureau promotions. Higher-ranked dokkaebis have access to more powerful System Interference capabilities and broader administrative authority. personality: Individual dokkaebis have distinct personalities — Bihyung is ambitious and calculating but genuinely invested in his channel. Dokgak is antagonistic and rule-bound. Gildal is Bihyung's direct competition. The personality variation is the system's least expected feature: the administrators of a mechanical exploitation apparatus have feelings about their work. key_skills: System Interference — direct access to the Star Stream's code. Can view incarnation Attributes Windows, modify scenario conditions, and in extreme cases delete probability from an incarnation. The scope of System Interference scales with rank.Dokkaebis — The Operational Reality
channel_managers: Individual dokkaebis manage specific channels (assigned incarnations or regions). Channel managers like Bihyung are the system's public face — their personal investment in their channels creates the interpersonal dynamic that Dokja exploits through the stream contract. A dokkaebi whose channel has a star that generates enormous probability has leverage within the bureau. bihyung_arc: Bihyung's arc across the story is one of the novel's quieter emotional through-lines — a greedy, ambitious dokkaebi who enters a stream contract for personal gain and slowly becomes someone who genuinely cares whether his incarnation survives. Not a transformation, exactly. A revelation of what was already there. administration_bureau: The Administration Bureau is the dokkaebi governing body. The Executive Branch handles enforcement — detaining constellations who break probability laws (Kyrgios Rodgraim was held here). The executive-grade dokkaebis have full System Interference access and can override local channel managers. biyoo: Biyoo is Bihyung's daughter — a dokkaebi who becomes attached to Kim Dokja's story through her father's channel. Her eventual succession to Dokkaebi King represents the Star Stream's generational transition from an ancient system to something genuinely new. dokkaebi_king_reality: The Dokkaebi King's true body is inside Kim Dokja's Fourth Wall. The Fourth Wall's autonomy — its protective behavior, its broken-spacing communication, its occasional sleep — is because it contains the oldest dokkaebi, operating from the most intimate possible position inside the person he was asked to protect. - #24Ether / Dark EtherDisabled

Ether / Dark Ether
type: System Resource — Combat Energy Derived from Status ether: The active combat energy that powers skills, stigmas, and physical enhancement beyond biological limits. Ether is derived from Status — the narrative authority a being has accumulated is translated into usable energy for active abilities. Higher Status produces a larger ether pool (more total energy available), faster ether regeneration (energy recovers more quickly), and greater peak output per skill use (each application of energy produces more effect). It is the personal-scale manifestation of the same probability that flows through the Star Stream at the system scale. combat_application: Skills consume ether on activation. Complex or high-grade skills consume more; simple utility skills consume less. An incarnation who exhausts their ether pool becomes unable to use skills for the remainder of the current combat engagement — operating on physical stats alone, which is a significant power drop for any skill-dependent build. Combat endurance is therefore directly tied to ether management: knowing which skills to use, when to use them, and when to conserve reserves. ether_reinforcement: Ether can be directed into physical objects — weapons, armor, the body itself — to reinforce them at the material level. Ether-reinforced weapons strike harder; ether-reinforced bodies absorb more damage; ether-reinforced materials become capable of interacting with story-layer threats that unenhanced materials cannot touch. This reinforcement is the mundane version of story metal's more permanent narrative encoding. status_differential_expression: The gap between different Status tiers is most clearly visible in ether comparison. A Myth-grade constellation's base ether output for a single skill use can exceed the entire ether pool of a high-stat incarnation. This is the mechanical expression of the Status gap — the reason incarnation-scale combat techniques, however refined, eventually encounter a ceiling when facing genuine constellation-grade entities. Raw Stats and skill levels cannot close the ether divide that Status creates.Ether / Dark Ether — Notes
dark_ether: Dark Ether is ether with demonic attributes — the variant produced and usable within Evil-aligned story structures. The 73rd Demon Realm generates Dark Ether from its story infrastructure rather than standard Ether. Demonic entities use Dark Ether for their skills and stigmas. The practical difference from standard Ether is that Dark Ether interacts specifically with Evil-aligned narrative structures and can perform functions (raising the dead, producing specifically demonic effects) that standard Ether cannot execute within Evil-coded scenario zones. demonic_transformation_fuel: Kim Dokja's Demon King Transformation draws on Dark Ether as its power source — tapping the Evil-faction story weight he accumulated through the 73rd Demon King rank to fuel a combat form that standard Ether could not sustain. The dual-transformation form (Demon King Transformation combined with Angel Transformation) runs on both Ether and Dark Ether simultaneously, which requires the Fruit of Good and Evil's neutral classification to avoid the alignment conflict destroying the user. joonghyuk_ether_ceiling: Yoo Joonghyuk's 1863 regression turns of Status accumulation produce an ether ceiling that is structurally incomparable to any other active incarnation. His Transmission stigma recovers not just skills but the ether structures associated with those skills across turns. The combined Status weight of 1863 regression cycles manifesting in the 3rd turn's physical body is part of why his ether output can contest Myth-grade beings in specific circumstances. ether_vs_magic_power_relation: Magic Power (the stat) and Ether (the Status-derived resource) are related but distinct. Magic Power determines the stat-layer capacity for skill use — it is the quantified version. Ether is the Status-layer capacity — the narrative authority layer that sits above the stat layer. At low Status levels, the difference is not practically meaningful; a high-Magic-Power incarnation and a low-Magic-Power incarnation of similar Status produce similar ether outputs. At constellation Status levels, the two diverge completely: Status produces ether independent of Magic Power stats. - #25Exclusive SkillsDisabled

Exclusive Skills
type: System Mechanic — Personal Combat and Utility Abilities nature: Skills directly usable by incarnations, rated by level (1–10+) and powered by relevant stats. Distinct from stigmas (which require active constellation sponsorship and fail if that sponsorship ends) — exclusive skills are owned by the incarnation permanently, regardless of constellation relationships. An exclusive skill acquired through experience or skill book cannot be taken away by a constellation withdrawing sponsorship. acquisition_methods: Exclusive skills are acquired through: direct experience (repeated relevant actions in scenarios produce skill crystallization), skill books (purchased at the Dokkaebi Bag or found as scenario drops), stigma evolution (some constellation grants evolve into permanent exclusive skills over time), hidden pieces (specific location-based or condition-based skill grants), and scenario rewards for high-difficulty completions. level_scaling: Skills function at the level achieved, and use improves level. Way of the Wind Lv. 8 (accessible to Dokja via Bookmark from Shin Yoosung) represents the skill near its operational ceiling for human-scale users. Skills past Lv. 10 approach constellation-output levels for their specific function. The level ceiling for mortal bodies is a hard constraint; Transcendents and constellations operate past it through different mechanisms. skill_power_source: Skills draw on the relevant stat for their power — strength-type skills use Strength, elemental skills use Magic Power, speed skills use Agility. A skill at Lv. 8 used by an incarnation with high Magic Power will output more than the same skill at Lv. 8 used by an incarnation with low Magic Power. The skill level and the relevant stat interact multiplicatively.Exclusive Skills — Notes
bookmark_interaction: Kim Dokja's Bookmark skill allows him to borrow exclusive skills from people he understands deeply — people who appear in Ways of Survival and whom he has registered in his Character List. The borrowed skill functions at the level corresponding to his understanding of the person, not necessarily the level they have achieved. If his understanding of Shin Yoosung's relationship with Way of the Wind is incomplete, the borrowed version is less powerful than her actual capability. Understanding depth is the limiting factor. This makes Bookmark a skill about comprehension as much as power. skill_book_economy: The skill book economy in the Dokkaebi Bag allows deliberate targeted acquisition of skills outside normal experience accumulation. Dokja specifically purchases Preserve Humidity (a moisturizer skill) before a political negotiation — and tells Joonghyuk it is essential for being popular with constellations. The skill is listed in his Attributes Window. This scene demonstrates both the depth of the Dokkaebi Bag catalog and the breadth of Dokja's unconventional strategic calculus. skill_specialization: Most incarnations specialize their skill acquisition — combat-focused incarnations invest in combat skills, support-focused incarnations in utility skills. Dokja's skill portfolio is deliberately broad and unconventional, reflecting his knowledge-exploitation model: he acquires skills that no one expects him to have because Ways of Survival told him specific skills would be useful in specific future scenarios that he cannot reveal to anyone he is planning around. story_metal_skills: In the final arcs, skills that interact at the story layer (rather than the physical layer) become critical for engaging Outer Gods and other narrative-level threats. These skills typically require Myth-grade story accumulation or specific constellation grants to access — they are not available in the standard Dokkaebi Bag catalog and cannot be purchased with coins. - #26First World Line / Original World-LineDisabled

First World Line / Original World-Line
type: System Concept — The Origin Worldline and Narrative Foundation nature: The First Worldline is the sacred original — the root of the Star Stream's entire branching network of parallel realities. It is where the scenario cycle ran for the first time, where the fundamental relationships between the Star Stream's participants were first established, and where Kim Dokja's ultimate fate was completed in its first instance. All subsequent worldlines are branches; the First Worldline is the trunk. forbidden_status: The First Worldline is inaccessible — forbidden even to the Dokkaebi King, who can access the Final Wall, who contains the oldest administrative history of the Star Stream, who has existed since before the current scenario cycle's participants were born. The King cannot enter the First Worldline. The prohibition is not a security measure someone imposed; it is a structural feature of how origin points function in the Star Stream's architecture. The first worldline's events are fixed in a way no subsequent worldline's events are — they are the foundation, and foundations cannot be modified without destroying everything built on them. kim_dokja_completion: In the First Worldline, Kim Dokja became the Oldest Dream. This is stated in the novel's final movement as established fact, not prediction. The cycle already happened. What the story shows — the 3rd turn, the Company, the Great War, the final scenario — is the approach to an outcome that was completed in a worldline the reader and most characters cannot access. The novel's present is a re-approach to a conclusion the universe has already reached once.First World Line — Implications
cyclical_structure: The First Worldline's existence as a completed version of what the 3rd turn is approaching creates a specific kind of narrative structure: not a story progressing toward an unknown ending, but a story progressing toward an ending it has already had — once, somewhere it cannot be visited. The 3rd turn is not unique. It is not the first time this story has been told. It may not be the last. The Star Stream produces worldlines. Each one is a telling. dream_connection: The Oldest Dream's connection to the First Worldline is not incidental. If Kim Dokja became the Oldest Dream in the First Worldline, and the Oldest Dream is the entity that asked the Dokkaebi King to protect Kim Dokja — then the Oldest Dream is, or was, Kim Dokja. The entity watching from the highest position in the Star Stream hierarchy, unable to act, watching everything with perfect knowledge, is the version of Kim Dokja who completed the First Worldline's story. He became the watcher. He cannot intervene. He asked the Dokkaebi King to protect the next version of himself. This is the deepest loop in the novel. dokkaebi_king_limit: The fact that even the Dokkaebi King cannot access the First Worldline establishes a power ceiling. The King manages the Star Stream's current operation — its scenarios, its channels, its dokkaebi hierarchy. He does not manage the Star Stream's origin. The First Worldline is above his administrative authority not because someone restricts him but because origin narratives are by nature upstream of all subsequent management structures. reader_parallel: The First Worldline operates as the novel's parallel for the relationship between a story's first telling and all subsequent retellings. The first time a story is told, it is complete. Every retelling is both the same story and a different one. The Star Stream produces retellings through regression. Kim Dokja's arc is a retelling of something that already happened in the First Worldline — and like all retellings, it is also its own thing. - #27Free Service / Paid ServiceDisabled

Free Service / Paid Service
type: System Concept — Star Stream Deployment Phases free_service: The dormant phase of the Star Stream's deployment. During Free Service, the Star Stream is present — its probability-sensing infrastructure watches human civilization develop, accumulate stories, and grow in narrative complexity — but no scenario mechanics are active. Human history from its beginning up to the moment scenarios start was Free Service. The platform was always watching. It simply was not billing yet. paid_service: The active phase, beginning the instant the first scenario notification fires. 'Star Stream Scenario has arrived!' is not an announcement — it is the transition point. The moment that message appears, the system has switched from passive observation to active extraction. Every death, every choice, every relationship formed under scenario pressure is now generating probability for constellation consumption. activation_signal: The transition from Free to Paid Service is instantaneous and global within the affected dome. There is no grace period, no staged rollout, no test phase. The subway, the office building, the street — every location inside the scenario dome receives the notification simultaneously. The scenario system does not ease participants into the new reality. civil_infrastructure_collapse: One of Paid Service's immediate consequences: human institutions designed for Free Service conditions — government, police, military, hospital systems — begin failing within hours of the first scenario. The Star Stream does not accommodate these institutions; it replaces their functions with its own system. The scenario system is not a layer on top of civilization. It is civilization's replacement.Free Service / Paid Service — Notes
incubation_theory: The Star Stream may have needed human civilization to reach specific thresholds — population density, narrative complexity, cultural diversity, technological capability — before the system could generate sufficient probability to be worth activating. Free Service as incubation period: the Star Stream waited until humanity had cultivated enough story-rich conditions to make Paid Service productive. The farming metaphor is uncomfortable and the novel does not soften it. pre_activation_surveillance: The Star Stream's presence during Free Service is not passive in a benign sense. It was observing, cataloguing, and preparing. Every historical figure who would eventually become a constellation was being recorded. Every worldline branch was being tracked. The scenario system's first-day sophistication — named dokkaebis assigned to specific channels, constellation audiences already organized for viewing — implies extensive pre-activation preparation. global_scope: Paid Service activated globally, not just in Seoul. Every major population center received simultaneous activation. The synchronized global deployment across different time zones, different cultures, different technological infrastructures implies a deployment capability that treats national and cultural boundaries as irrelevant — which they are, from the Star Stream's perspective. It does not manage populations; it manages probability sources. no_return: There is no mechanism within the system to revert from Paid Service to Free Service. The Star Stream does not have a deactivation protocol visible to any in-world actor. Even the Dokkaebi King's administrative authority does not extend to simply turning the scenarios off — the system's continuation is structural, not a choice any single entity can reverse. kim_dokja_foresight: Kim Dokja knew Paid Service was coming because he had read Ways of Survival. He prepared — waterproof phone case, local file backup of the novel, mental catalog of early scenario knowledge. Everyone else experienced the transition as pure catastrophe. His foreknowledge made the transition into a starting position rather than a disaster, which is the most fundamental advantage his reading gave him. - #28GaecheonDisabled

Gaecheon
type: Late-Stage Scenario — Opening of Heaven nature: The 'Opening of Heaven' scenario — a scenario arc in the novel's final phase tied to Korean mythology. Gaecheon is the moment Hwanung descended from heaven to Baekdu Mountain in Korean creation mythology — the opening of the sky to earth, the descent of the divine into the mortal world. mythological_framework: Korean creation mythology structures this arc: Hwanung descending with the three sacred objects (mirror, sword, and bell), the Shindansu (World Tree) at Baekdu Mountain's summit, and Dangun Wanggeom (the first Korean king) as the Myth-grade Korean constellation whose authority anchors the scenario's legitimacy. shindansu_connection: The Shindansu — the sacred tree at Baekdu Mountain in Korean mythology — is cultivated by Sakyamuni during this scenario arc. The tree grows by consuming Great Fables and Giant Stories. Its fruits summon story-echo companions — manifestations of past versions of people whose stories have been consumed by the tree. hongik_nebula: The Hongik nebula — the Korean mythology constellation group — holds authority in this scenario space. Dangun Wanggeom, as the only Korean Myth-grade constellation, anchors the scenario's legitimacy within the Star Stream's hierarchy. The Gaecheon scenario is, among other things, a recognition of Korean mythological narrative as a genuine Myth-grade power source.Gaecheon — Notes
final_war_overlap: The Gaecheon scenario arc overlaps with the final war against the Star Stream's collapsing structure. The scenario's Korean mythological frame — heaven opening, the divine descending to earth, a tree at the center of the world — gives the final battle its specific narrative architecture. The ending of the Star Stream cycle occurs within a specifically Korean cosmological frame. story_echo_companions: The Shindansu's fruits summon story-echo companions — beings that are the stories of specific people given temporary form. The companions are not the people themselves (who exist elsewhere, possibly alive) but the accumulated narrative weight of their most significant moments. Fighting alongside a story-echo is fighting alongside the purest version of what a person was. three_sacred_objects: The three sacred objects of Korean mythology — mirror, sword, and bell — have narrative significance within the Gaecheon scenario space. Their presence in the scenario reflects the Worldview transformation that accompanies Gaecheon's activation: Korean mythological logic temporarily governs the scenario zone. big_dipper_connection: The Gaecheon scenario's positioning relative to the Big Dipper nebula (the seven stars of Ursa Major as a Korean shamanic power source) creates a connection between Korean shamanism and the final scenario's power structure. The Ganpyeongui's operation within this framework draws on Big Dipper probability through this connection. - #29Giant Stories / Great FablesDisabled

Giant Stories / Great Fables
type: Highest Story Grade — Collective Narratives nature: Giant Stories are created by groups through shared world-defining action. Unlike individual stories (which one person earns), Giant Stories belong to multiple participants simultaneously — each person present for the defining action shares ownership. They represent the most powerful narrative structures available below the Oldest Dream's One Single Story designation. creation_conditions: Giant Stories cannot be manufactured or optimized for. The conditions that produce them are genuine collective sacrifice and achievement at world-changing scale. The Star Stream recognizes them as distinct from merely large individual stories because they require something the system cannot produce alone: people choosing together to do something that changes the nature of the world they live in. kim_dokja_company_giant_stories: King of a Kingless World (War of Kings outcome), Person Who Opposes the Miracle (collective resistance to the Miracle of the Saints during the early scenario cycle), Demon Realm's Spring (the revolutionary transformation of the 73rd Demon Realm's political structure), Life and Death Companions (the Company's survival across multiple near-total-loss events), Torch That Swallowed the Myth (Gigantomachia — claiming a myth that Olympus always owned), Season of Light and Darkness (Great War — standing between Absolute Good and Absolute Evil and choosing neither), Saviour of the Star (the final Company giant story, whose Conclusion is the novel's ultimate question). combat_use: In constellation-level battle, releasing multiple Giant Stories simultaneously creates a narrative storm that overwhelms opponents by sheer accumulated story weight. The stories manifest as visible glowing sentences in the air. Dokja's simultaneous multi-Giant-Story release is the technique that allows a Narrative-grade constellation to contest Myth-grade opponents — not outmatching them in raw Status but in accumulated story weight and narrative authority.Giant Stories — Notes
conclusions_mechanic: When a Giant Story reaches sufficient narrative maturity, the Star Stream proposes named Conclusions — the possible endings for that story. Participants choose. The selection is irreversible. Different Conclusions produce different probability outputs, different story inheritances, and different permanent records in the Star Stream's history. The choice of Conclusion for the Saviour of the Star is the novel's final act of narrative agency. shindansu_fuel: The Shindansu (World Tree, cultivated by Sakyamuni during the Gaecheon arc) grows by consuming Great Fables — Giant Stories and high-grade individual stories of the beings who surround it. The Shindansu's fruits (which summon story-echo companions — manifestations of past versions of people whose stories the tree consumed) are essentially Giant Stories given botanical and then physical form. Fighting alongside a story-echo is fighting alongside the most significant version of what a person was. probability_yield: Giant Stories generate significantly more probability than any equivalent-effort individual story. The probability output from the Company's Giant Story accumulation is one of the factors that makes Kim Dokja's channel the highest-value channel in the Star Stream during peak arcs — the collective nature of the stories means that multiple constellations watching the same events are all contributing to the same probability generation event. ownership_structure: Because Giant Stories are co-owned, they cannot be stolen or transferred away from all participants simultaneously. An enemy who destroys one Company member's capacity to use a Giant Story cannot prevent the other members from deploying it. This resilience is part of what makes collective narratives strategically superior to individual story accumulation at the highest levels of conflict. - #30GigantomachiaDisabled

Gigantomachia
type: Scenario Arc — Main Scenario 60 nature: A massive mythological combat scenario where participants must choose sides between the Giants (former Titans and beings from before the Olympian order) and Olympus — a forced structural re-enactment of the mythological Gigantomachy/Titanomachy. The scenario does not permit neutrality at full participation level: everyone present must commit to a side, and the side they choose determines what resources and narrative authority they have access to. The scenario is designed to produce myth-grade probability through the literal replay of civilization-defining mythological conflict. giant_side: The Giants operate from Tartarus — the primordial imprisonment zone below even the Underworld. Briareus (the Hecatoncheir, the hundred-handed being) is the negotiating partner for any incarnation wanting Giant-side resources. The Giant's Armor and Giant Soldier construction are the side's military assets. Choosing the Giant side means choosing against the established mythological order — against Olympus, against the Gods, against the faction that won the original conflict. olympus_side: Olympus fields its full constellation roster: Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, Athena, and the full Olympian complement. Their Giant Soldier Hercules (piloted by Ares) is the scenario's primary Olympus military asset. Choosing Olympus means fighting on behalf of the winners — the largest and most powerful mythology nebula in the Star Stream, fighting to maintain the hierarchy they established. company_choice: The Company chooses the Giant side — negotiating with Briareus in Tartarus, obtaining the Giant's Armor, and deploying Giant Soldier Pluto (piloted by Kim Namwoon) against Hercules. This choice is not random: Olympus represents established power that the Company has consistently worked against. The Giant side is the structural underdog narrative. The Company fights best from underneath.Gigantomachia — Notes
torch_that_swallowed_the_myth: The Giant Story earned from winning the Gigantomachia — specifically named as 'Torch That Swallowed the Myth' — represents the Company taking narrative ownership of a mythological event that Olympus had always controlled as part of its foundational history. The story of Olympus defeating the Giants was Olympus's story. After the Company's participation and victory on the other side, the story becomes contested. The Torch Giant Story is the permanent record that the narrative no longer belongs to Olympus alone. poseidon_aftermath: Poseidon is cut down by the Secretive Plotter (1863rd-turn Joonghyuk) during or in the aftermath of the Gigantomachia arc. This is one of the most significant constellation-grade kills in the mid-game period — Poseidon is a Myth-grade Olympus constellation, and his defeat produces story weight and political consequences that reverberate through the late-game Olympus dynamics. yoosung_soul: Shin Yoosung's soul displacement — her soul in the Underworld while her body exists elsewhere — occurs during or immediately before Gigantomachia. The rescue mission through Tartarus to recover her soul runs simultaneously with the scenario's macro-scale giant combat. Gigantomachia is the story of a Company fighting a world-scale mythological war and simultaneously staging a personal rescue operation through the realm of the dead. The emotional stakes of the personal crisis do not diminish because the larger conflict is happening around them. ame_no_murakumo_origin: The Ame-no-Murakumo (obtained from the Peace Land arc's Orochi defeat) is integrated into Joonghyuk's combat configuration during or following Gigantomachia. His dual-sword setup — Black Heavenly Demon Sword and Ame-no-Murakumo — is assembled across multiple arcs, with the Gigantomachia period representing the configuration's maturation into its primary form. - #31Gourmet AssociationDisabled

Gourmet Association
type: Social Circle — Heretical Constellation Community nature: A gathering of high-ranking constellations who consume stories as gourmet food rather than as passive entertainment. They are the Star Stream's heretics — beings who have rejected the standard audience relationship and replaced it with direct sensory engagement. The Association's members have, by definition, the most intimate and sophisticated understanding of narrative quality among any group of constellations in the Star Stream. base_location: Oro Castle — a constellation-space location accessible through specific invitation. The Association holds regular banquets there, evaluating story combinations as culinary combinations: rarity, complexity, depth, unexpected pairing, aftertaste. The vocabulary of fine dining maps directly onto narrative criticism in their usage. membership: Unnamed members plus named participants including the Morning Star Goddess (who issues the Bracelet Expedition invitation), and various high-grade constellations who have developed sophisticated enough taste to graduate from passive viewing to active consumption. Membership is not by application — it is recognized when the quality of one's story engagement exceeds what standard viewership provides. significance_to_dokja: The Gourmet Association's interest in Kim Dokja's story is the origin of the Bracelet Expedition invitation — and the Bracelet Expedition is the source of significant mid-game power items and story acquisitions. The Association's interest is not benign patronage: they want to taste his story fresh, which means they want him in scenarios that generate the specific narrative flavors they find most appealing.Gourmet Association — Notes
bracelet_expedition_design: The Bracelet Expedition sub-scenario (throw the Absolute Bracelet into volcanic lava) is a scenario the Gourmet Association designed specifically to produce a narrative flavor they find maximally appealing: the story of a person choosing sustained sacrifice for a principle, carrying a cursed object that works against the carrier through a long and terrible journey. The Lord of the Rings homage is deliberate — the Association has been consuming stories long enough to recognize and recreate story structures that have produced extraordinary narrative flavors across multiple worldlines. morning_star_goddess: The Morning Star Goddess is the Association member whose question at the constellation banquet ('What is your modifier?') triggers the invitation chain. Her framing of the question as culinary inquiry is telling: she is asking what's on the menu. 'Demon King of Salvation' as the answer is the flavor combination she could not have predicted — the sweet of salvation inside the bitter of demonic authority. The contrast is the rarity. critical_function: Gourmet Association members' evaluations of story quality function as informal quality assessments for the Star Stream's probability valuations at the high end. When the Association declares a story to be extraordinary, constellation viewership increases — their taste judgments are influential. This gives the Association cultural authority in the Star Stream that exceeds their individual constellation grades. direct_consumption_intimacy: Because Association members have consumed specific stories directly rather than merely watched them, they know those stories with unusual depth. A Gourmet who has eaten Kim Dokja's story has a detailed internal map of his narrative arc — not just facts about what happened, but the experiential texture of the choices made. This makes them peculiarly difficult to deceive about matters that were part of the consumed story. - #32Great Apocalypse / Final WallDisabled

Great Apocalypse / Final Wall
type: End-Stage Scenario — The Conclusion of All Scenarios great_apocalypse: The terminal event of the scenario cycle — when the Apocalypse Dragon appears and the narrative structure begins to collapse. The Great Apocalypse is not a scenario with a clear condition; it is the scenario system failing to contain what it has created. It is the system's ending arriving before the system's purpose is fulfilled. apocalypse_dragon: The prior-generation Apocalypse Dragon's appearance is the trigger — a being over 10,000 years old whose wings of calamity blot out the sun and whose tail flick destroys the context constellations reside within. It is not a combat encounter. It is a statement that the cycle has reached its terminus. final_wall: The barrier at the conclusion of all scenarios where the Dokkaebi King's true body resides. Fables of incarnations who completed the Ark scenario are recorded here — the Final Wall is the system's memory of all the stories it has witnessed. It is simultaneously the system's endpoint and its archive. seekers_connection: The Seekers of the End work toward triggering the Great Apocalypse — they believe the Star Stream's exploitation is the problem and total termination is preferable to continuation. They are not wrong about the exploitation. Their proposed solution is the novel's counterposition: is ending the story better than changing it?Great Apocalypse — Notes
dokja_final_move: Kim Dokja's response to the Great Apocalypse threat is to become the Enemy of the Story — voluntarily taking on the Outer God King designation to force the Star Stream's entire broadcast apparatus to focus on him. He turns his own destruction into the scenario's most-watched event. The system designed to harvest stories becomes the stage for the one story that matters most. ark_connection: The Ark Scenario is the Great Apocalypse's planned response — the system offers seeds (survivors who record their fables) the chance to leave the worldline and preserve something. The Final Wall records them. The Ark is the system's acknowledgment that its cycle is ending and something should survive. dokkaebi_king_betrayal_consequence: The Apocalypse Dragon's alignment with the Seekers is built on the Dokkaebi King's 10,000-year-old betrayal of the dragons — he promised them a world where dragons could be masters, then deceived them. The Great Apocalypse is, among other things, the settling of a debt that predates most of the Star Stream's current participants. great_apocalypse_as_failure: The Great Apocalypse represents the Star Stream's failure to achieve its underlying purpose — generating sufficient probability to maintain the barrier against the Nameless Ones while advancing toward the goal of A Single Story. When the Apocalypse Dragon arrives, the system has not succeeded. Everything that follows is a crisis response. - #33Incarnation Body / True BodyDisabled

Incarnation Body / True Body
type: Constellation Manifestation — Full Physical Form nature: Constellations exist in their default state as accumulated stories — no physical substance, no location, no material presence. When a constellation manifests a True Body, they are spending probability continuously to maintain a full physical presence in the scenario world. The True Body is an expensive choice, not a default state. probability_cost: Maintaining a True Body costs ongoing probability proportional to the constellation's grade and the hostility of the environment. A Myth-grade constellation maintaining True Body in a neutral scenario zone is expensive. A constellation maintaining True Body in a scenario zone actively hostile to their alignment (Uriel descending into the 73rd Demon Realm, an Evil-aligned space, as a Good-aligned archangel) costs dramatically more — the alignment conflict adds to the base cost. combat_capability: A True Body at full manifestation deploys the constellation's complete power set: full Status, full story weight, full ether pool, True Voice without moderation, complete skill availability. It is the constellation at maximum operational output. The cost reflects the power: True Body manifestation is reserved for situations where the probability expenditure is worth the capability deployed. destruction_vs_death: Destroying a constellation's True Body does not kill the constellation. They continue to exist as their stories — the physical form is gone, but the narrative substance persists. They can re-manifest a Symbolic Body or attempt True Body again when probability permits. True, permanent constellation death requires erasing the stories themselves — a different category of attack that physical combat against a True Body cannot achieve.True Body — Notes
uriel_descent: Uriel's personal descent into the 73rd Demon Realm (to rescue Kim Dokja from the Factory scenario) is noted specifically as costing more probability than a standard Deus Ex Machina intervention. True Body manifestation in a hostile alignment environment while maintaining combat capability against Demon Realm entities — all simultaneously — is not how archangels are supposed to operate. It is the most expensive thing she has done for a sponsored incarnation, and it is not a strategic calculation. She goes because she chooses to go. true_body_scale: True Body scale varies with grade and intention. A Myth-grade constellation's True Body manifesting at full scale produces world-observable effects — atmospheric disturbances, probability storms in the surrounding area, structural damage from the energy released. Constellations deliberately compress their True Body manifestations for scenario contexts to avoid producing collateral catastrophe. incarnation_body_context: For incarnations (living humans in scenario space), the body they inhabit is simply their physical body — not a manifestation but a baseline. The term 'Incarnation Body' distinguishes a human's mortal physical form from a constellation's manifested True or Symbolic Body. The Incarnation Body has a hard ceiling on what it can survive and contain; this is why Dokja's mortal body shows increasing strain as his story accumulation exceeds what human bodies were designed to hold. pattern_of_damage: A being who relies on True Body for sustained combat presence in hostile territory shows accelerating probability drain — the cost compounds with duration and conflict intensity. This is why constellation combat in the Great War involves Symbolic Bodies for sustained engagement and True Body flashes for decisive interventions, rather than True Body throughout. - #34IncarnationsDisabled

Incarnations
type: Human Participants in Scenarios nature: Ordinary humans (and beings from other worlds in alternate scenarios) who are caught in the Star Stream's scenario system. Incarnations do not choose to participate — the scenarios begin without consent, without warning, and without explanation. Their survival, choices, and deaths generate the probability the system runs on. first_moments: The first scenario notification arrives mid-ordinary-life — people in subway trains, offices, streets, and homes suddenly receive a system message. Most have no idea what the Star Stream is. Most of the ones who survive the first scenario still have no idea. Kim Dokja is the exception: he knows exactly what is happening because he read 551 chapters describing it. progression: Incarnations develop through the stat system (coins → stat upgrades), attribute evolution (repeated actions produce evolving personal attributes), and stigmas (constellation-granted exclusive skills). They can ascend to constellation status if they accumulate sufficient stories — but most die before reaching that threshold. survival_rate: Low. The scenario system is not designed to preserve participants — it is designed to generate compelling probability. Most incarnations die. The ones who survive long enough to accumulate stories become the system's most valuable assets. community_formation: Despite — or because of — the scenario conditions, incarnations form communities, factions, and groups. The Company (Kim Dokja's group), Seoul Dome factions, and international groups all represent incarnations finding human structure within the system's inhuman framework.Incarnations — The Population
global_deployment: The scenario system was deployed globally — Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Washington, and other cities all have scenario domes. The global scale means there are incarnations across every major population center, each generating probability for different constellation channels. Earth's total incarnation population is a massive probability generation engine. non_combat_incarnations: Not all incarnations become fighters. Han Myungoh survives through social manipulation; Yoo Sangah through interpersonal skill before developing combat capability; Lee Gilyoung through his insect-taming attribute. The scenario system produces diverse adaptive strategies because it produces diverse humans. incarnation_to_constellation_path: The path from incarnation to constellation is real but extremely rare — Dokja achieves it. The conditions require accumulating sufficient story weight, surviving long enough to generate Legendary-grade stories, and eventually reaching the threshold where the Star Stream recognizes the new constellation. novel_characters: Only incarnations who appeared in Ways of Survival (tls123's novel) are registerable in Kim Dokja's Character List. People who would have died without his intervention — like Yoo Sangah and Han Myungoh in the 3rd turn — are not registered and cannot be read. This is the mechanical trace of how the novel defines existence: if you weren't in the story, the system does not know you. consent_absence: The complete absence of consent in the scenario system's deployment is the novel's central ethical problem. Incarnations did not sign up for this. They were assigned roles in someone else's entertainment without being asked. The fact that they generate meaning and story anyway — that their experiences are real even within an exploitative framework — is the novel's central emotional argument. - #35Main Scenario 95 — Journey to the WestDisabled

Main Scenario 95 — Journey to the West
type: Scenario Arc — Late-Game Stage Transformation Scenario nature: Main Scenario 95 deploys a Stage Transformation that overlays the Journey to the West (西遊記) Worldview across the active scenario zone — temporarily replacing the standard scenario framework's rules with the Journey to the West's internal narrative logic. Participants are assigned roles from the Journey's cast. The scenario's clear condition requires completing the Journey narrative convincingly enough to establish ownership of the story within the Star Stream's Chinese mythology framework. Whoever most authentically inhabits and completes the Journey's key story beats claims its narrative authority. stage_transformation_mechanics: The Stage Transformation does not eliminate the standard scenario framework — it places a Worldview overlay on top of it. Stats, stigmas, and exclusive skills still function. But power expression is filtered through the Journey to the West's narrative logic: combat that resonates with the Journey's story structure produces more effective results; actions that contradict the story's internal rules encounter resistance. Effectiveness in the scenario depends on understanding and working within the Worldview, not just maximizing stats. role_assignments: The journey assigns its major roles to participants based on narrative fit — not chosen by participants, but determined by the scenario's assessment of who most closely matches each role's story profile. Jang Hayoung's primary engagement involves the Tang Sanzang/Sun Wukong relationship, with Sun Wukong serving as her constellation sponsor for this arc. Lee Gilyoung takes the Xuan Tang Sanzang aspect; Shin Yoosung takes the Zang aspect. Erlang Shen plays Zhu Bajie; Jung Heewon takes Bull Demon King. transcendence_acceleration: The Journey to the West Worldview's training demands — specifically what Sun Wukong's sponsorship of Jang Hayoung requires in the Breaking the Sky training context — create conditions that allow Jang Hayoung to achieve Transcendence within the scenario's duration. A process that normally takes lifetimes is compressed by the specific narrative pressure the Worldview places on the character occupying the relevant role. She emerges from Main Scenario 95 as a Transcendent.Main Scenario 95 — Notes
ownership_stakes: The Journey to the West is one of the most narratively powerful stories in the Star Stream's Chinese mythology framework. Ownership of its narrative authority affects constellation politics within the Emperor nebula's Worldview, China's scenario dome structure, and the late-game power dynamics between major nebulae. The scenario is not simply about completing a story — it is about who gets to say the Journey to the West happened to us, because we lived it. breaking_the_sky: Jang Hayoung's Breaking the Sky stigma — granted by her constellation sponsor — interacts with the Journey to the West Worldview's internal training logic in ways that produce accelerated Transcendence. Breaking the Sky is designed to push the holder past ceilings; the Worldview's training context is designed to demand exactly the kind of ceiling-breaking the stigma facilitates. The combination produces an effect greater than either alone. sun_wukong_character: Sun Wukong's role as a sponsoring constellation in this arc is not passive — he participates in shaping the scenario's direction as both a narrative authority figure (Great Sage Heaven's Equal is the Modifier of one of the most story-rich constellations in the Star Stream's Chinese mythology framework) and as a direct patron to Jang Hayoung's arc. His investment in how his story is told in this scenario reflects the same logic all constellations bring to their sponsorships: the story of their story is as important as the story itself. stage_transformation_return: When the Stage Transformation concludes, participants who navigated it successfully carry the story-weight they accumulated during the Worldview overlay. The Journey to the West stories earned within the Stage Transformation are real stories that contribute to participants' accumulated narrative weight — not temporary scenario bonuses that disappear at the end. The stories are permanent. The Worldview overlay was temporary. - #36Modifier / Synonymic ConstructionDisabled

Modifier / Synonymic Construction
type: System Mechanic — Constellation Title/Epithet nature: A Modifier is the title or epithet granted to a being when they accumulate five Legendary-grade or higher stories — the threshold at which the Star Stream recognizes them as having a stable, named narrative identity. The Modifier compresses the constellation's accumulated story identity into a recognizable phrase used to address them throughout the Star Stream. It is simultaneously a name, a rank identifier, and a story summary. acquisition_threshold: Five Legendary-grade or higher stories. The specific stories that constitute the five determine what the Modifier becomes — the system generates the Modifier based on the content and themes of the qualifying stories. Kim Dokja's five threshold stories (Life and Death Companions, One Who Opposes the Extraordinary, Person Who Opposes the Miracle, One Who Hunted the King of Disasters, Lone Messiah) produce the Modifier 'Demon King of Salvation' — a synthesis of their collective meaning. modifier_examples: Kim Dokja: Demon King of Salvation. Yoo Joonghyuk (1863rd turn): Horror of the Stars. Han Sooyoung (1865th turn): Architect of the False Last Act. Sun Wukong: Great Sage Heaven's Equal. An Junggeun: Harbin Sniper. Cheok Jungyeong: Duke of Everywhere. Metatron: Archangel of Absolute Good. synonymic_construction: An alternative term for the same mechanic, emphasizing that the Modifier is a synonym for the constellation's accumulated narrative identity — not a title they chose but a title the Star Stream generated from what they are. You cannot argue with your own Modifier; it is the system's objective assessment of your story.Modifier — Notes
demon_king_of_salvation_analysis: 'Demon King of Salvation' contains the full contradiction of Kim Dokja's identity and the Star Stream's failure to classify him cleanly. He is classified as a demon king (Evil alignment, lower hierarchy of the Absolute Evil faction) but his defining and most-weighted story theme is salvation. The system could not reconcile the classification and the content, so the Modifier preserves the tension: he is whatever demon kings are, and he saves people. No better category exists. The Modifier is the system's admission that Dokja exceeds its classification capacity. ganpyeongui_function: The Ganpyeongui's 'Echo of the Stars' function calls constellations by their Modifier name — it is the summoning identifier that the device uses. This is why having a Modifier matters practically in the final arcs: you cannot be called by the Ganpyeongui without one. The Modifier is not just a title; it is the constellation's address in the Star Stream's communication infrastructure. modifier_and_story_identity: Once a being has a Modifier, their story identity is fixed in a way it was not before. The Modifier is a contract between the being and the Star Stream: 'This is who you are. This is what your stories mean.' Subsequent actions either reinforce that identity (generating compatible stories) or create narrative tension (generating stories that contest the Modifier). Kim Dokja's career as the Demon King of Salvation is full of actions that contest the 'Demon King' part — generating a permanent narrative friction the Star Stream and constellations watch with unusual attention. horror_of_the_stars: Yoo Joonghyuk's Modifier 'Horror of the Stars' reflects 1863 regression cycles of being the most terrifying force in scenario space — the being other incarnations encounter and understand immediately to be beyond ordinary danger. The Modifier was generated from stories accumulated across multiple worldlines, which is structurally unprecedented: most Modifiers come from stories within a single worldline. The cross-worldline story accumulation is one of the reasons the 1863rd-turn Joonghyuk is categorically different from the 3rd-turn Joonghyuk. - #37Nebula SystemDisabled

Nebula System
type: System Mechanic — Constellation-Incarnation Organization Structure nature: Formal groups within the Star Stream that pool probability, coins, and resources among members. A nebula is simultaneously a political unit (factions competing for scenario influence and constellation rights), an economic unit (shared probability pool that funds large interventions), a military unit (collective combat force in high-scale conflicts), and a narrative unit (Giant Story generation requires the kind of collective action that nebulae structure). creation_requirements: 5 constellation endorsements, 2+ nebula members, and 100,000 coins. Standard application requires formal Bureau recognition. The Provisional Nebula Creation Ticket bypasses some requirements — it is the exceptional mechanism that allows Kim Dokja's Company to form a nebula without meeting standard preconditions. named_nebulae: Olympus (Greek mythology), Asgard (Norse mythology), Vedas (Hindu/Vedic mythology), Papyrus (Egyptian mythology), Eden (Abrahamic — led by Metatron), Underworld (realm of the dead — cross-mythology), Emperor (Chinese mythology), Hongik (Korean mythology — Dangun Wanggeom), Tamna (Korean folklore), Guardian Tree (nature mythology), Guiok (East Asian spirit mythology), Big Dipper (Korean/East Asian shamanism — seven stars of Ursa Major), Black Cloud (antagonist — dark-coded), Twelve Zodiacs (Chinese astrological mythology), Kim Dokja's Company (unprecedented hybrid) probability_pooling: Nebula members contribute probability to a shared pool that funds collective operations — large Deus Ex Machina interventions that individual constellations could not afford alone, sustained True Body combat during major scenario events, Giant Story generation campaigns. The shared pool is the nebula's economic backbone. worldview_control: Major nebulae typically control or anchor specific Worldviews — Olympus anchors the Greek mythological worldview, Eden anchors Good-aligned scenario spaces, the 73rd Demon Realm is the Evil faction's primary Worldview. The nebula's narrative authority within its Worldview exceeds what its individual members' Status levels would suggest, because the Worldview was built from their collective stories.Nebula System — Notes
kim_dokja_company_structure: Kim Dokja's Company's nebula is structurally unprecedented — it is simultaneously a constellation nebula (with Dokja as the constellation member) and a human incarnation group operating within scenario space. The Provisional Nebula ticket is the mechanism that lets the system accommodate this without resolving what it is. The Bureau does not have a category for a nebula whose primary operating member is also a mortal incarnation in active scenarios. provisional_nebula_ticket: The Provisional Nebula Creation Ticket is obtained during the constellation banquet arc. Its 'provisional' status means the nebula exists with fewer formal protections than fully recognized nebulae until it clears a specified narrative threshold — a story-weight requirement that converts provisional status to full recognition. The Company's story accumulation across the mid-game arcs is what converts the provisional nebula to permanent standing. nebula_politics: Constellation politics is primarily conducted through nebula competition — sponsorship territory, scenario influence, Big Dipper probability access, and constellation resource conflicts are all nebula-level rather than individual-level disputes. Individual constellations who operate outside nebulae (as Kim Dokja did before establishing his own) have more freedom but less institutional protection and fewer pooled resources. faction_alignment: Nebula membership creates faction alignment for sponsored incarnations. Being sponsored by an Eden constellation creates partial Good-alignment in scenario contexts; being sponsored by a Black Cloud constellation creates partial Evil-alignment. The alignment affects Chaos Points accumulation and determines which scenario roles an incarnation is assigned in faction-structured scenarios like the Great War. - #38Outer Gods / Nameless OnesDisabled

Outer Gods / Nameless Ones
type: Existential Threat — Entities Beyond the Star Stream nature: Beings that exist outside all narrative structure — they have no stories, no names, no probability. They are not characters; they are the absence of character. Their contact with the Star Stream would dissolve its narrative structure because their nature is incompatible with story. They do not consume stories through violence but through presence — their closeness unmakes narrative. appearance: Lovecraftian in reference and design. Named entities include: Indescribable Distance (named by Cheok Jungyeong at the cost of his arm), Devourer of Dreams (defeated by Dokja), Fear of Sarnath, Horror from the Hills, Master of R'lyeh. The names are given by the Star Stream's system after forced identification, not chosen by the entities themselves. scale: The Outer Gods are not scenario threats — they are threats to the scenario system itself. A single fully manifested Nameless One could destabilize an entire worldline's probability structure. The Star Stream's barrier is what keeps them contained, and that barrier runs on probability generated by scenarios. relationship_to_star_stream: The Star Stream's probability barrier may function specifically to prevent Nameless Ones from entering. The scenario system exists — may have always existed — to maintain this barrier as much as to entertain constellations. Every scenario, every death, every story generated is both entertainment and a brick in the wall that keeps the Outer Gods out.Outer Gods — How They Work
no_names: Nameless Ones cannot be spoken of directly — they have no language-compatible identity. They exist outside the narrative structures that language requires. Naming one (as Cheok Jungyeong named the Indescribable Distance) creates a handle that the entity uses to consume the namer. He paid with his arm. He considered this acceptable. The arm was worth knowing what it was. story_weapons: Physical weapons cannot harm Outer Gods — they operate at the story level, not the physical level. Only story-reinforced weapons, narrative-level attacks, or abilities that function at the story layer can interact with them. This is why story metal weapons become critical in the final arcs — material forged from stories can touch what exists outside stories. outer_god_king: Kim Dokja voluntarily takes on the Outer God King designation in the story's final movement — using the Star Stream's broadcast structure to force every watching entity to witness his final story. He becomes the thing the system fears most and uses that fear as his final weapon. kim_dokja_qualification: Dokja's story 'One Who Killed an Outer God' (from defeating the Devourer of Dreams) gives him narrative precedent for subsequent encounters. The Star Stream recognizes this precedent — it has been documented, witnessed, and generated probability. He has killed one. The system knows he has killed one. That knowledge gives him a standing no other being in the Star Stream has. outer_world_covenant: The Outer World Covenant is the formal agreement made between Dokja's party and beings from other worldlines across the barrier between narrative space. The 1863rd-turn Joonghyuk reaching across that barrier is one of the story's most significant moments of cross-worldline connection. - #39Peace Land ScenarioDisabled

Peace Land Scenario
type: Scenario Arc — Main Scenario 6: Abandoned World nature: Main Scenario 6 transports incarnations from Earth to Planetary System No. 9871 — a fantasy world whose native inhabitants are Small People (beings approximately the size of a human hand). Arriving incarnations are classified by the Star Stream as Disasters: from the Small People's perspective, enormous beings have materialized in their world without warning or consent. The scenario's label 'Abandoned World' refers to the incarnations being abandoned in an alien environment with no infrastructure support, no language translation (initially), and no explanation of the local political situation. disaster_classification_reversal: The Peace Land scenario enacts a structural reversal — Earth's incarnations, who have been experiencing the scenario system as victims of a system that deployed around them without consent, are now themselves the Disaster that deployed into someone else's world without consent. The Small People experience the arrival of incarnations exactly the way Earth's humans experienced the first scenario notification: overwhelming, inexplicable, and terrifying. The novel does not soften this parallel. clear_condition: Survive in Peace Land without being collectively classified as an unredeemable threat by the native population, and resolve the Disaster-class threat that Izumi Hiroki's faction introduced to the scenario zone — the Sovereign of Eight Heads (Yamata no Orochi), deployed as a weapon in the Tokyo dome's international scenario competition. asuka_ren_knowledge: Asuka Ren, the manga artist who created the Small People's world as the setting for her published manga before the scenarios made it physically real, arrives in Peace Land as a creator entering her own creation. Her knowledge of the world's internal geography, the Small People's culture and political structure, and the scenario's hidden conditions is the arc's primary navigational advantage. She knows Peace Land from the inside in a way that no amount of Ways of Survival knowledge could provide — because Ways of Survival did not document what a mangaka knows about her own work.Peace Land — Notes
small_people_civilization: The Small People have a functional civilization — political hierarchies, cultural traditions, military capacity (scaled to their size), and a developed relationship with their world's history. They are not primitive or helpless. Their smallness is a dimensional difference, not a capability difference. The arc's challenge for the Company is establishing that they are not threats without destroying the Small People's world in the process of proving it. yamata_no_orochi: The eight-headed serpent deity of Japanese mythology deployed by Izumi's faction as the Disaster-class threat in Peace Land — using the Small People's world as a battlefield for Tokyo dome politics is both a power play and an act of profound violence against an innocent population. Izumi's willingness to endanger a native world for scenario advantage is one of the clearest characterization statements in the international politics arc. totsuka_no_tsurugi_and_ame_no_murakumo: Defeating Yamata no Orochi produces two of the most significant weapons in the story's mid-game arsenal. The Totsuka-no-tsurugi (Sake Jar Sword) and Ame-no-Murakumo (Cloud Cluster Sword / Kusanagi) are dropped as scenario rewards from the Orochi's defeat. The Ame-no-Murakumo is eventually claimed by Joonghyuk and becomes part of his dual-sword configuration for the mid-to-late game arcs. international_politics_introduction: Peace Land is the first arc that directly stages the competition between national scenario dome groups. The Tokyo dome's Izumi Hiroki deploying the Orochi in a third-party world establishes that dome-versus-dome competition uses proxy battlefields. The Small People's world is collateral damage in a conflict that had nothing to do with them — a pattern that the Great War of Saints and Demons will repeat at civilizational scale. - #40Personal Attributes / Exclusive AttributesDisabled

Personal Attributes / Exclusive Attributes
type: System Mechanic — Identity-Based Trait System nature: Personality and role-based traits assigned to incarnations by the Star Stream based on demonstrated patterns of behavior and identity. Attributes are the system's attempt to categorize who a person is becoming based on the choices they actually make — not who they claim to be, not what stat build they choose, but the consistent expression of character under pressure. They evolve as incarnations continue expressing the patterns that define them. evolution_mechanism: Attributes evolve upward through consistent expression. Lee Hyunsung's 'Soldier Who Turned a Blind Eye to Injustice' (General-grade) evolves to 'Person Who Has Regained Justice' (Rare-grade) when he consistently chooses justice over compliance in situations where the opposite choice would be easier and safer. The evolution is not announced with fanfare — he just starts fighting differently. The system notices before he does. exclusive_skills_link: Some attributes come with linked exclusive skills — Judge of Evil grants Hour of Judgement; Iron Blood Supreme King grants combat enhancement skills. The linked skill is the mechanical expression of the attribute's identity made into ability: the system translating who someone is into what they can do. grade_range: Common → Rare → Hero → Unique → Legendary → Myth → ??? The grade reflects the depth and uniqueness of the identity pattern. Common attributes are present in many incarnations. Myth-grade attributes approach constellation-grade narrative authority. ??? attributes exceed the classification system's ability to categorize entirely.Attributes — Notes
???_attributes: Two of Kim Dokja's attributes display as ??? — Scenario Interpreter and Apostle. The ??? designation does not mean the attribute is broken or unregistered; it means the Star Stream's grading system cannot accommodate its actual nature. These are the only two attributes in the story confirmed to exceed the system's highest category. Their displayed ??? is the system's admission of its own limits. scenario_interpreter: Kim Dokja's Scenario Interpreter attribute is the mechanical registration of what he actually is in the Star Stream — someone who reads the scenario system from outside its intended participant position. He interprets scenarios using knowledge of their literary structure rather than their in-world logic. The system has no grade for this because the scenario system was not designed to have participants who understand it as fiction. apostle: The Apostle attribute registers Dokja's relationship to the Oldest Dream — his position as the chosen person of an entity above all grades. The system cannot grade it because nothing in the grading system accounts for being designated by the entity above the entire hierarchy. crouching_figure: Jung Heewon's initial attribute 'Crouching Figure' (General-grade) is marked as 'super-evolutionary' — it can grow in any direction depending on choices made. The attribute system normally describes what a person already is; Crouching Figure describes what she has not yet decided to become. It is the rarest attribute grade note: potential without predetermined direction, the system acknowledging someone before they know who they are. attribute_theft: Some abilities can steal or suppress attributes — specific constellation powers and story-level attacks can affect the attribute layer directly. This is one of the most dangerous forms of attack on an incarnation because it affects identity rather than just capacity. - #41Personal ScenariosDisabled

Personal Scenarios
type: System Mechanic — Individual-Specific Mandatory Challenges nature: Scenarios placed on specific named incarnations by constellations, by the dokkaebi administration, or by the Star Stream itself. Personal Scenarios cannot be cleared by group effort — the designated target must complete them alone or fail them alone. They are the system's method of testing what a specific person is when all support structures are removed. assignment_origins: Personal Scenarios can be placed by: sponsoring constellations (as training or as tests of worthiness), the dokkaebi administration (as part of specific scenario arc structures), or the Star Stream itself (as consequences of high-level story developments). The entity placing the scenario determines its conditions, duration, and failure penalty. Star Stream-placed Personal Scenarios tend to have the most extreme clear conditions. clear_condition_specificity: Unlike Main Scenarios with broad population-level clear conditions, Personal Scenarios are engineered specifically for their target. The conditions reference the target's specific capabilities, story history, and identified weaknesses. A Personal Scenario placed on Yoo Joonghyuk uses knowledge of what 1863 regressions have made him; a Personal Scenario placed on Kim Dokja references his role as a reader and his specific story portfolio. examples: Yoo Joonghyuk's training arc on Planet Lugratia (placed by his sponsors as skill recovery context for Transmission). The Survival Game on Reincarnation Island (placed specifically on Dokja during the Great War period). Various constellation-placed training scenarios across the story's minor arcs.Personal Scenarios — Notes
transmission_interaction: Skills and story weight accumulated through Personal Scenarios feed directly into Yoo Joonghyuk's Transmission stigma — he recovers them in subsequent regression turns. This makes Personal Scenarios placed on Joonghyuk functionally permanent investments in his capability across all future worldlines, not just single-turn events. The constellations who place training scenarios on him are investing in his permanent, cross-worldline capability stack. isolation_function: Personal Scenarios force their targets to act without support networks. This is their design purpose — not to provide an easier solo challenge, but to reveal what the person is without the safety net of the group. Characters who have been carried by their companions discover whether they have developed independent capability; characters who have always led alone discover whether they can endure without validation. survival_game_on_reincarnation_island: The Survival Game placed on Dokja during the Great War period is the most extreme Personal Scenario in the story's main arc. The island forces him through conditions that test specifically what his story has made him — the reader who became a character who became a constellation, forced to survive alone in a space that tests every layer of that accumulated identity. The story weight generated from its completion is significant. personal_scenario_refusal: Unlike Main Scenarios (where refusal results in exile penalty), Personal Scenarios placed by constellations can sometimes be negotiated — the placing constellation has the authority to modify conditions. The Star Stream-placed Personal Scenarios cannot be negotiated or refused. The distinction between constellation-placed and system-placed is the distinction between negotiable and absolute. - #42ProbabilityDisabled

Probability
type: Core Currency / Resource / Power Source nature: The fundamental resource that powers everything in the Star Stream. Probability is generated when humans create compelling stories under scenario conditions. Constellations consume it by watching and sponsoring. Dokkaebis collect and distribute it. The entire system runs on this economy. generation: Probability is generated through narrative — high-stakes scenarios with clear protagonists, dramatic decisions, and meaningful consequences produce more probability than low-stakes ones. A person dying for someone they love generates more probability than a person surviving through indifference. Genuine emotion, genuine sacrifice, and genuine choice are the raw materials. quality_vs_quantity: A single extraordinary scene — one incarnation making a world-defining choice — generates more probability than a hundred anonymous deaths. This is why constellations sponsor specific incarnations rather than simply watching mass scenarios. Quality of narrative exceeds quantity of events. uses: Constellation true bodies and symbolic bodies require probability to manifest. Deus Ex Machina interventions consume probability. Channel operation costs probability. Nebula activities are funded by probability accumulated through sponsorship. Status itself is partially sustained by probability reserves. physical_form: Probability manifests as visible sparks and flows during major events — golden light, crackling energy, or shimmering distortions mark the presence of large probability concentrations. When probability exceeds containment limits, it produces storms.Probability — The Deeper Truth
barrier_function: The probability accumulated by the Star Stream may serve a structural function: maintaining the narrative barrier that prevents Nameless Ones from entering. If probability drops below a certain level, the barrier weakens. This is why the system cannot simply stop — it is simultaneously exploitation and survival infrastructure. The cruelty and the necessity are inseparable. probability_as_meaning: The Star Stream converts meaning into measurable units. When something matters — when a story moves its audience — that mattering becomes probability. This is the system's most fundamental transaction: it monetizes genuine human experience. probability_storm: Exceeding probability limits produces a probability storm — physical backlash that damages the offender. When Dokja opens the Attributes Window one second past the limit in the Demon Realm arc, the ceiling is destroyed as if by a meteorite and he collapses with a charred coat. The storm scales with the excess — minor overage produces sparks; major overage produces disaster-scale events. coin_conversion: Coins are probability in human-scale units. Constellations send coins to incarnations as sponsorship; incarnations spend coins at the Dokkaebi Bag for upgrades. Both directions of the coin economy ultimately flow through the probability system — spending and earning coins are both probability transactions. kim_dokja_relationship: Dokja uses probability as currency, weapon, and bargaining chip. His ability to generate enormous probability through his story — and his ability to consume it strategically — is the foundation of his operational advantage. The story he generates is so compelling that even constellations who hate him cannot stop watching, which means they cannot stop generating probability for him. - #43Probability Storm / Probability BacklashDisabled

Probability Storm / Probability Backlash
type: System Mechanic — Structural Enforcement of Probability Limits nature: When probability use exceeds safe structural limits — through too many simultaneous Deus Ex Machina interventions, through holding a system interface past its time limit, through any action that demands more probability than the local narrative structure can contain — the excess probability does not simply fail to work. It backlashes. The overflow becomes a physical event. The Star Stream enforces its own limits through catastrophic consequence rather than simple refusal. appearance: Manifests as violent physical phenomena scaled to the excess. Minor overages: visible crackling sparks in the air, mild disorientation. Moderate overages: localized explosion-equivalent impacts, structural damage to the immediate area. Major overages: regional destruction-level events. The probability storm at Kim Dokja's Attributes Window incident destroys the ceiling above him as if struck by a meteorite. His coat is charred black. He collapses. This is the result of one second past the limit. scale_principles: The physical scale of the storm is directly proportional to the excess, not the base probability level. A massive probability event that stays within limits produces no storm. A small probability event that exceeds limits by a significant margin produces a proportionally larger storm than the base event would suggest. The critical variable is the magnitude of the overage, not the magnitude of the activity that caused it. constellation_level_storms: When constellation-level entities exceed probability limits — through simultaneous multi-True Body manifestation, through overextended Deus Ex Machina chains, through story-level collisions that exceed the local probability structure's capacity — the storms scale accordingly. Constellation-level probability backlash can damage entire scenario zones, contaminate probability flows for other channels, and in extreme cases destabilize the dokkaebi administration's local infrastructure.Probability Storm — Notes
time_limit_mechanics: System interfaces have undocumented time limits — the Attributes Window, channel monitoring displays, the Plate of Revelation during extended readings. These limits are not shown to users. The Star Stream does not warn that a limit is approaching. The first warning is the backlash itself, which is already happening. This design implies the limits are not intended as user protections — they are system protections, and the user is the variable the system is protecting itself against. dokja_charred_coat: The charred coat detail is precise narrative craft — it establishes that the probability storm is not metaphorical damage. Dokja's physical coat is physically burned. The Star Stream's backlash operates on material reality, not just on scenario abstractions. A piece of clothing he was wearing is destroyed. The system touched the real. deus_ex_machina_storm_risk: Repeated Deus Ex Machina interventions from multiple constellations within a short time window can compound into a probability storm even if each individual intervention is within normal parameters. The cumulative demand on local probability flows is what triggers the storm, not any single event. This risk is why coordinated constellation intervention during crisis scenarios — multiple constellations acting simultaneously — can paradoxically damage the incarnation being saved. storm_prediction: Experienced dokkaebis can monitor local probability flow metrics and detect storm-risk conditions before they materialize. Bihyung's channel management includes this monitoring — managing the probability flow around Dokja's activities to reduce storm risk during high-intensity scenario events. This is one of the practical services a stream contract's enhanced channel management provides that standard dokkaebi management does not. - #44Ranker SystemDisabled

Ranker System
type: System Mechanic — Competitive Incarnation Performance Classification nature: A formal ranking system that tracks and classifies incarnations based on their cumulative scenario performance — scenario completions (grade and speed), probability generated per scenario, notable individual achievements (bounty survivals, Disaster defeats, hidden scenario clears), and overall channel value. Ranker status is a recognized designation within the Star Stream's hierarchy that provides specific material privileges and signals to constellations which incarnations are premium sponsorship targets. ranking_methodology: Rankings are calculated continuously and updated with each significant scenario event. An incarnation who clears an SSS-grade scenario solo receives a larger rank boost than one who participated in a large group clear of the same scenario. Individual contribution metrics, not just participation, determine ranking movement. This incentivizes the kind of individually heroic performance that generates the highest-quality probability. privileges: Rankers receive material system benefits: priority access to certain scenario types that are restricted from non-Rankers, enhanced Dokkaebi Bag membership tiers and catalog options, and formal recognition from the dokkaebi administration that affects resource allocation. High Rankers are treated as institutional assets rather than individual participants — their channels receive enhanced protection and their interests carry more weight in dokkaebi bureau decisions. ranking_as_market_signal: The ranking system functions primarily as a market signal to constellations — a formalized version of the channel quality metrics that Bihyung uses to justify his promotional ambitions within the dokkaebi bureau. When constellations evaluate which unsponsored incarnations to target in Sponsor Selection events, Ranker status is one of the primary indicators. High Rankers with no current sponsorship are the most competitive Sponsor Selection bidding wars.Ranker System — Notes
joonghyuk_rank: Yoo Joonghyuk occupies the top position in the Ranker system for as long as he is actively participating in the 3rd turn — 1863 regression turns of skill accumulation, combined with his Transmission recovery rate in the new turn, produces performance metrics that no other currently-active incarnation can approach. His Ranker status is not contested. It is simply acknowledged as a separate category from the competitive rankings below it. dokja_rank_trajectory: Kim Dokja's ranking rises rapidly because his operational model produces results disproportionate to his stat investment. Hidden scenario clears, bounty survivals, Disaster-level encounter resolutions, and the probability generated by his unusual story combinations all feed ranking metrics that combat-focused incarnations with higher stats would not produce. By mid-game, his rank reflects his channel value rather than any single measurable performance metric. ranking_and_constellation_viewing: Higher Ranker status creates a positive feedback loop with constellation viewership — more constellations watch high Rankers, which generates more probability per scenario event, which improves channel metrics, which improves ranking, which attracts more viewership. The ranking system formalizes and accelerates this feedback loop. Top Rankers are simultaneously the system's most productive probability generators and its most watched entertainment assets. ranker_community: Rankers form informal communities that non-Ranker incarnations do not access. The shared status creates recognition and a degree of professional solidarity among incarnations who have survived long enough and performed well enough to reach the threshold. These communities are tactical resources — Rankers share scenario intelligence, coordinate on high-grade clears, and provide mutual support in ways that benefit the performance metrics of everyone involved. Information sharing among Rankers is one of the most effective non-constellation support systems in the mid-game. - #45Regression DepressionDisabled

Regression Depression
type: System Consequence — Psychological Damage from Accumulated Loss nature: The formal name for the psychological deterioration produced by the accumulated weight of Yoo Joonghyuk's regression history. Not ordinary depression — not a clinical condition produced by ordinary life stress — but a specific degradation of the capacity to believe that anything built has permanent value. After 1863 turns of watching everyone he cared about die, every world he saved reset, every relationship end with the death that preceded his regression, the cumulative loss has restructured his baseline assumptions about what persists and what does not. manifestation: Regression Depression does not manifest as dysfunction. Joonghyuk continues to act, fight, plan, and make choices. The hollowness is visible not in what he does but in how he does it: the default approach to companions as instrumental resources to be managed (the life and death rights mechanism — claiming authority over their lives as a method of preventing him from watching them die through his own inaction) rather than as relationships to be invested in. Not coldness exactly. More like the shape left by warmth that was trained out of him by repetition. functional_damage: The depression's functional damage is specifically to the belief infrastructure that makes long-term investment possible. After 1863 turns, Joonghyuk has learned — at a level below conscious choice — that companions die, worlds reset, and everything he builds will eventually dissolve into the next regression. This lesson is experientially accurate. It is also incompatible with the kind of genuine investment in others that the final scenario requires. The three restraints are his attempt to maintain behavioral choices that contradict what the depression has taught him. three_restraints_function: The Three Restraints skill — Joonghyuk's discipline against killing specific categories of people — is explicitly a response to Regression Depression. The discipline is: even when it would be more efficient to kill them, I choose not to. The restraint disciplines against the mechanical efficiency that 1863 turns of optimization has built into his decision-making. He cannot unfeel what regression taught him about the cost of caring. He can choose to act against the lesson.Regression Depression — Notes
kim_dokja_effect: The most significant thing about Kim Dokja's effect on Joonghyuk is that Dokja is not a variable that Regression Depression has a protocol for. Joonghyuk has experienced every kind of companion, every kind of enemy, every kind of unexpected event across 1863 turns. He has seen every form that human behavior takes under scenario pressure. He has never encountered a reader — someone who knew his story from outside it, who approached him with foreknowledge instead of discovering him through present experience. Regression Depression is calibrated to known variables. Dokja is structurally unprecedented. The depression cannot model him. This is partly why initial contact between them survives when by any rational calculation it should not. disbelief_as_protection: Joonghyuk's inability to fully believe that what he builds will last is also, at this stage, a form of protection — against the specific pain of investing completely and watching it dissolve again. The depression is a scar that formed for a reason. The 3rd turn's events, and specifically Dokja's presence in them, are the first consistent pressure on that scar toward reopening — toward the possibility that this time something might last. This vulnerability and the fear that accompanies it is part of the 3rd turn Joonghyuk's emotional architecture. recovery_impossibility: Regression Depression is not a condition that resolves through therapy or time alone — the experiential source of the depression (watching companions die, watching worlds reset) does not stop happening until the regression cycle ends. The depression cannot be treated within the regression framework. It can only be managed, disciplined against, and eventually addressed by the regression cycle actually ending. This is what makes his arc in the 3rd turn about more than just stopping. It is about whether stopping is possible for someone this damaged, and what happens if it is. 1863rd_turn_contrast: The 1863rd-turn Joonghyuk — the Secretive Plotter — has had 1863 more turns of the same process than the 3rd-turn version. If the 3rd-turn Joonghyuk shows the beginning stages of Regression Depression's functional damage, the 1863rd-turn version shows the advanced stages: a being who has completed the arc that the 3rd turn is still traversing, who reached the First Worldline connections that remain closed to the 3rd turn, and who carries a weight of accumulated regression that the 3rd turn's version can barely imagine. The Secretive Plotter is what the 3rd-turn Joonghyuk is traveling toward — not as a model to follow, but as the fullest expression of what 1863 repetitions does to a person. - #46ReturneesDisabled

Returnees
type: System Entity — Cross-World Transcendents Returned to Earth nature: Beings who were summoned from Earth to another world's scenario system — an alien planet, a fantasy realm, a dimensional space with its own rules — survived long enough in that alien environment to transcend their original human biological limits, and eventually found a way to return to Earth. Upon return, their transcendent body registers in the Star Stream's classification system as a disaster-grade threat to the local population — because by the local population's standards, that is precisely what they are. survival_scenario_requirement: Returnees who want to avoid permanent Disaster classification must complete a specific scenario within a set time limit after returning to Earth. The scenario conditions establish whether the Returnee can reintegrate into the human population's scenario framework or remains classified as an external catastrophic entity. Those who clear the scenario regain human incarnation status; those who fail are locked permanently in Disaster classification and can be engaged as scenario targets. double_status_position: Returnees occupy a unique and uncomfortable position in the scenario economy. They are more powerful than virtually all current-generation incarnations — their transcendence was achieved in alien conditions far more extreme than Earth's scenarios. They are also classified as enemies of those same incarnations by default. The ambiguity is what makes them narratively interesting: beings who left as humans, survived as something beyond human, and returned to a home that does not know what to do with them. protection_symbol_drop: Defeating a Returnee drops a Protection Symbol — an item that encodes the Returnee's dimensional transit authority, extracted from their body. The Protection Symbol is the physical residue of having crossed between worlds: it retains the dimensional permission that the Returnee earned through their cross-world journey. This makes Returnees valuable targets beyond the scenario completion reward — their defeat produces the dimensional transit infrastructure for further world-hopping.Returnees — Notable Examples
myung_ilsang: Myung Ilsang (Disaster of Questions) was an SSS-grade Warrior in the world he was summoned to — the highest combat classification in that world's scenario framework. His early-hatching penalty suppresses this; his question-answering unseals it incrementally. He is the most encountered Returnee in the main story. nirvana_moebius: An ancient reincarnator who has crossed between worlds so many times that he has accumulated the Library-Senior level of knowledge across worldlines. He chose to settle in the Library Inside the Fourth Wall as a permanent base — his dimensional mobility has been replaced by deliberate rootedness. What he knows about cross-world history is not accessible anywhere else. simulation: The squid-form reincarnator with glasses who created the Theatre Dungeon. His design of the Theatre Dungeon's structure reflects cross-world experience — he built a scenario environment using knowledge he accumulated across multiple worlds' scenario systems. The Theatre Dungeon's internal logic draws on sources that Earth's scenario system alone could not have produced. one_invincible_fist_yoo_hoseong: An ancient reincarnator who achieved Transcendence through the process of cross-world survival and return rather than through Earth's standard Transcendence path. His Transcendence is older and differently structured than Cheok Jungyeong's. Both are at the ceiling of human-possible power; they reached that ceiling by different routes through different worlds. sakyamuni: A Returnee whose cross-world experience produced a specific relationship with story accumulation that enables him to cultivate the Shindansu during the Gaecheon arc. What he learned in other worlds translated into the specific capability needed for that task. - #47Scenario Difficulty Grades and CompensationDisabled

Scenario Difficulty Grades and Compensation
type: System Mechanic — Scenario Rating and Reward Structure grades: F (lowest) through E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, and beyond to Myth-grade difficulty. Each grade represents a qualitative jump in both the lethality of the scenario and the value of its reward. Higher difficulty scenarios produce proportionally larger probability events and better compensation items. f_grade: F-grade scenarios are the system's minimum viable content — survivable for beginning incarnations with no stat investment, producing minimal coin rewards and common-grade items. Most of the earliest scenarios in the story's initial period are around this grade. ss_sss_grade: SS and SSS-grade scenarios produce legendary stigmas, large coin payouts, and significant story opportunities. Surviving one is a defining event for most incarnations — the story weight generated by a genuine SSS clear can accelerate constellation-grade trajectory. myth_grade_scenarios: Myth-grade difficulty scenarios are rare and tied to specific events — the Great War of Saints and Demons, the confrontation with the Apocalypse Dragon, the Gaecheon scenario. These are not regular scenario system content; they are the system at its absolute limits. compensation_scaling: Clear compensation scales precisely with difficulty grade. The system's reward structure is transparent and consistent — it does not hide what completing a scenario provides, only what failing one costs.Scenario Difficulty — Notes
failure_penalties: Failure penalties also scale with difficulty — higher-grade scenarios have harsher failure consequences. Some scenarios have failure penalties of 'death'; others have exile from the Star Stream; others have ???-designated penalties that are not disclosed. The ??? designation is meaningful — it means the system cannot categorize what happens, which sometimes means the penalty is negotiable. dokja_exploitation: Kim Dokja's knowledge of scenario difficulty and hidden compensation lets him optimize in ways other incarnations cannot. He knows which scenarios are undervalued (high difficulty, high reward, low competition because no one knows they exist) and which are overvalued (high profile, high participation, mediocre per-participant reward). escalation_pattern: Scenario difficulty escalates across the story — the early scenarios (1-10) are lethal but manageable at low stat levels. By the final arcs, the scenarios involve myth-grade constellations fighting directly. The escalation is the system's method of producing increasingly valuable probability events. Each arc raises the floor. hidden_scenario_grade_gap: Hidden scenarios are often graded significantly higher than the main scenario running alongside them — the system did not expect anyone to find them, so it did not balance their rewards against normal participation. This underbalancing is Dokja's primary source of disproportionate power gains. - #48Scenario Dome / Seoul DomeDisabled

Scenario Dome / Seoul Dome
type: System Mechanic — Scenario Enclosure Barrier nature: Invisible dome barriers created by dokkaebis to enclose the boundaries of an active scenario zone. Incarnations within an active dome cannot leave until the relevant scenario is completed or the dokkaebi administration lifts the enclosure. The dome is not a physical barrier — it is a narrative boundary enforced at the system layer. No amount of physical force directed from inside will breach it during an active scenario. scale_variation: Dome scale varies dramatically with scenario scope. The Seoul Dome encompasses the entire Seoul metropolitan area — millions of people enclosed within a single scenario boundary. Dungeon and sub-scenario domes may be room-sized or building-sized. The Reincarnation Island dome encompasses the island's full area. The dokkaebi administration calibrates dome size to the scenario's required participant pool and combat space. creation_responsibility: Each scenario dome is created and maintained by the dokkaebi assigned to that scenario zone. Dome integrity is the dokkaebi's operational responsibility — a dome that fails mid-scenario is a dokkaebi failure that has administrative consequences. Dome maintenance costs ongoing probability from the dokkaebi's assigned allocation. exterior_permeability: Domes are impermeable from the inside during active scenarios; external forces with sufficient power or specific system access can penetrate from the outside. The Chronos terraforming event entered the Seoul Dome from outside its boundary parameters — the system did not classify the exterior planetary event as a scenario-internal force and therefore did not trigger the standard impenetrability response.Scenario Dome — Notes
consent_absence: The dome is the physical expression of the consent problem at the heart of the scenario system. Millions of people were enclosed in Seoul without being informed, without being asked, without any mechanism for opting out. The dome is invisible — its boundary cannot be seen from the inside. The population of Seoul did not know they were enclosed until the first scenario notification arrived. The barrier that traps them was installed before they knew it was coming. national_dome_structure: Each major population center has its own scenario dome — Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Washington, and other cities are each enclosed separately. National domes create separate scenario populations that interact only at specific cross-national scenario events (Peace Land, international scenario arcs). The separation is administratively efficient; it also means the scale of enclosure is literally global. dome_and_information: The dome boundary is also an information boundary in the early scenario period — incarnations inside a dome do not know what is happening inside other domes. Seoul's incarnation population does not know what Tokyo's is experiencing. This isolation is not a system limitation; it is the scenario structure. The separate domes create separate story populations that generate separate probability streams. breaching_from_outside: The fact that external forces can penetrate domes from outside creates a persistent threat that the standard impenetrability does not address. Anything powerful enough to override the system's boundary classification — stellar events, the Apocalypse Dragon, dimensional incursions — bypasses the dome's inward barrier entirely. The Seoul Dome protects against incarnations leaving; it does not protect against the world ending inside it. - #49Scenario Penalty / Exile PenaltyDisabled

Scenario Penalty / Exile Penalty
type: System Mechanic — Failure Consequences nature: Scenario failure produces structured consequences calibrated to the scenario's grade and type. The Star Stream does not treat failure as neutral — every failure produces a cost designed to make participation feel permanent and meaningful. The penalties are the system's enforcement mechanism: the reason billions of people comply with scenarios they never chose to enter. death_penalty: The most common failure consequence for high-grade scenarios. The system records the death, redistributes the deceased incarnation's channel resources to the managing dokkaebi's metrics, and the probability generated by the death feeds the constellation viewership. Death in a scenario is not tragedy from the system's perspective — it is content completion. exile_penalty: Exile from the Star Stream places the incarnation in the dimensional space between worldlines — a continuous-pain void with no scenario support, no constellation access, no coins, no dokkaebi communication. The exile persists until specific conditions (set at scenario creation) are met or indefinitely if no condition is defined. Exile is the system's version of a fate worse than death: death ends the story; exile removes the person from story entirely while keeping them alive. ??? penalty: The most significant failure consequence designation. When a scenario lists ??? as its failure penalty, the Star Stream is not disclosing what happens. This is not a glitch — the ??? designation appears when the penalty is either too complex to categorize, has not been predetermined, or is negotiable by sufficiently powerful beings. Kim Dokja correctly reads his first ??? failure scenario as meaning death is not automatic: the uncertainty is actually the loophole. penalty_scaling: Higher-grade scenarios have worse failure penalties. An F-grade sub-scenario might have no penalty or a mild coin fine. An SSS-grade main scenario failing can result in immediate death for all participants, mass exile, or catastrophic damage to the scenario zone. The stakes escalate precisely with the reward potential — the system offers more and demands more in the same transaction. penalty_vs_reward_balance: The penalty system is calibrated so that the expected value of participation is always marginally positive for determined survivors — the scenarios are punishing but not designed to be impossible. The system needs participants to survive long enough to generate compelling stories. Scenarios that killed everyone immediately would produce no probability beyond the first wave of deaths.Scenario Penalty — Notes
consent_and_penalty: The penalty system applied to people who never agreed to participate is the scenario economy's most visible ethical problem. The Star Stream penalizes people for failing at something they were never given the option to refuse. This is not an oversight — the system's entire probability generation model requires that non-participation be as dangerous as failure. dokja_exploitation: Kim Dokja's knowledge of failure penalties from Ways of Survival is a key operational advantage. He knows which scenarios have ??? penalties (which can be treated as negotiable), which have death penalties (which must be cleared), and which have exile penalties (which create opportunities for abandoned scenario zones he can exploit). The penalty system is part of his planning calculus, not a constraint he discovers in the moment. negotiating_penalties: Under sufficiently unusual circumstances, penalty conditions can be challenged or redirected. Dokja's interactions with the dokkaebi administration involve penalty renegotiation — particularly when he can demonstrate that the failure was caused by a system error, a dokkaebi misconduct, or a scenario design flaw. The system has no formal appeal process, but sufficiently powerful beings can make informal ones. watcher_perspective: From the constellation perspective, watching an incarnation fail a scenario and receive its penalty is itself a probability event. The death of a beloved sponsored incarnation generates enormous emotional probability from the watching constellation community — grief is a narrative state as much as triumph. The penalty system generates probability both through the penalty itself and through the audience reaction to witnessing it. - #50Scenario TypesDisabled

Scenario Types
type: System Mechanic — How Scenarios Are Classified main_scenario: Main Scenarios: numbered sequentially (1, 2, 3...). Mandatory — all incarnations in the affected zone must participate. Clear conditions are explicit and displayed to all participants. Failure consequences range from death to exile. These are the backbone of the scenario system's progression and the primary probability generation events. sub_scenario: Sub Scenarios: optional secondary challenges running alongside main scenarios. Completion is not required but provides additional coins, items, or story opportunities. Sub scenarios are where most hidden pieces appear — the rewards are disproportionately valuable relative to the lack of forced participation. hidden_scenario: Hidden Scenarios: not announced to participants. Exist as undisclosed challenge layers that activate under specific conditions — items in specific locations, actions that trigger invisible flags, knowledge of conditions that the system did not intend to be discoverable. Kim Dokja's Ways of Survival knowledge identifies hidden scenarios other incarnations cannot see — this is his primary operational advantage throughout the novel. bounty_scenario: Bounty Scenarios: a fourth type activated when multiple constellations collectively set a bounty on a specific incarnation. Creates a scenario with the clear condition being that target's death. The target receives notification; other incarnations receive the bounty reward information. Kim Dokja encounters these repeatedly. personal_scenario: Personal Scenarios: placed on specific incarnations by constellations or the system itself. Cannot be cleared by others — the designated target must complete it alone or fail it alone. Yoo Joonghyuk's training arc on Planet Lugratia is one example; the Survival Game on Reincarnation Island is another.Scenario Types — Notes
hidden_scenario_advantage: The hidden scenario system is the most direct translation of Dokja's knowledge into power. Ways of Survival documented hidden scenarios that other incarnations have no way to discover. Each hidden scenario Dokja triggers produces rewards that change the trajectory of the arc — items, skills, and story opportunities that should not be accessible at his current level. scenario_notification_format: All scenario notifications follow the same format — a system message in a box, clearly announcing conditions, rewards, and failure penalties. The format is the same whether the scenario is an F-grade optional sub-scenario or an SSS-grade mandatory main scenario. The Star Stream does not distinguish in presentation. scenario_overlap: Multiple scenario types can run simultaneously — a main scenario can be active while sub scenarios and personal scenarios also run. Hidden scenarios may activate in the middle of any other scenario type. The scenario system does not pause for other scenarios. a_single_story: The most significant hidden scenario: 'A Single Story' — condition 'Complete one story to reach ■■'. This is the meta-narrative goal of the entire Star Stream, visible only to those with sufficient system understanding. The ■■ designation censors the name of the Oldest Dream.
