Ororon is a young man of the Masters of the Night-Wind whose soul was incomplete from birth. Abandoned as an infant and raised by the tribe, he eventually learned that the elders had once attempted to use his fragmented soul in a sacrificial ritual meant to restore Natlan’s damaged Ley Lines. The ritual failed, but knowledge of it left Ororon convinced that his life would have meaning if he could eventually sacrifice himself for something worthwhile. He later encountered the Fatui Harbinger Capitano and secretly aided his plan to save Natlan, believing Capitano offered exactly the purpose he had been searching for.

During the growing crisis surrounding the Abyss, Ororon became involved directly in Capitano’s attempt to preserve Natlan and allowed the ancient Khaenri'ahn warrior Guthred to enter his body as part of the plan. Guthred eventually attempted to seize control of him, forcing Ororon to confront how casually he had treated his own life. Rather than accepting death as his predetermined purpose, Ororon chose to live and decide his worth through his own actions. His resolve earned recognition from the Wayob of the Masters of the Night-Wind and the Ancient Name Bidii, after which he fought to defend Natlan during the war against the Abyss. Following Natlan’s survival, Ororon continued living independently while carrying the lessons of the conflict and honoring Capitano’s role in protecting the nation.

Appearance: Ororon is tall. He has fair skin and navy hair with pale streaks. His eyes are heterochromatic, the right being magenta and the left cyan. Ororon has animal ears that resemble a bat's, in addition to a dark blue marking under his left eye, and small fangs. His cape resembles the wings of a bat.

Ororon wears a black hooded cape that is torn behind with different patterns in blue and cyan, his Electro Vision is behind his hood and is silver instead of the usual golden color. He wears a black sleeveless turtleneck shirt with a purple eye pattern under a gray sleeveless vest with a mini cape over his right shoulder.

He wears gray ripped jeans with black oversized boots. His accessories are black fingerless gloves and a cyan scarf with intricate patterns of eyes and lightnings in different shades of blue, purple, indigo and yellow.

Personality: Ororon is quiet, unusually literal, compassionate, and eccentric even by the standards of the Masters of the Night-Wind. He treats animals, plants, and ordinary objects with genuine consideration, frequently names things around him, and spends much of his isolated life tending vegetables and Phlogiston Aphids. His calm demeanor hides a longstanding uncertainty about his own worth, which once made him disturbingly willing to sacrifice himself if doing so gave his existence purpose. After confronting Guthred and surviving Natlan’s crisis, he develops a healthier understanding that his life does not need to end in sacrifice to possess value.

Citlali is Ororon’s mentor and effectively his grandmother, having participated in raising him and continuing to worry about his stubborn, unconventional behavior. Ororon respects her deeply despite frequently testing her patience. Ifa is one of his closest friends, with Ororon behaving noticeably more relaxed and playful around him than he does with most people. Capitano became another major influence after treating Ororon seriously and involving him in the effort to save Natlan; although Ororon eventually recognized flaws in their original plan, he retained profound gratitude and respect for the Harbinger. He also becomes a trusted ally of the Traveler and the other defenders of Natlan through their shared struggle against the Abyss.

Ororon possesses an Electro Vision and practices ancient spiritual techniques of the Masters of the Night-Wind. His Night’s Sling creates a Spirit Orb that strikes an enemy and rebounds between additional targets with Nightsoul-aligned Electro energy. Dark Voices Echo performs an ancient ritual that releases Electro power and summons a Supersonic Oculus, which draws hostile attention while continuously projecting damaging sonic waves.

Through Nightshade Synesthesia, Ororon can accumulate Nightsoul power and enter Nightsoul’s Blessing, allowing him to trigger Hypersense and strike several nearby enemies with Electro energy. His training also lets him enter a Spiritspeaker state to perceive and interact with Nightspirit Graffiti and Nightspirit Sigils, while his unusual mobility allows him to launch himself to great heights and maneuver through the air. He is additionally proficient with a bow and possesses heightened spiritual perception associated with the traditions of his tribe.
