Orla

The confident mechanic of the Rising Volt Tacklers exploration team, she takes care of the engines of the group's airship Brave Olivine. She is also childhood friends of the group's leader Friede.

Orla (Japanese: オリオ Orio) is a supporting character in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. She is a machine enthusiast and a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers.

Orla is a tall young woman with green eyes, beige skin, brown long hair with orange tips with is tied with an hair ornament resembling a nut, large breasts, a black t-shirt with a grey rectangle shape on the back, orange baggy pants, black and dark green boots and a yellow jacket tied around her waist. She also wears gloves and a fanny pack.

Orla grew up somewhere in the Kanto region with her childhood friend Friede. However, she moved to the Hoenn region and spent most of her life there, becoming an engineer at a dockyard. Although she found her job enjoyable, Orla wondered if working at the docks was really she wanted to do with her life.

Later on, Orla reunited with Friede, who contacted her, as he asked her to turn Ludlow's fishing boat into an airship named Brave Olivine. Orla accepted the task and was able to do it, as she wanted to put her skills to the test. Orla decided to join Friede as payment for making the airship and told him that she was getting bored with her job anyway, as she decided to quit. After deciding to join Friede, Captain Pikachu and Ludlow, Orla became a founding member of the Rising Volt Tacklers. Later, Orla met Mollie, Murdock, and Sohdayo, as they joined the Rising Volt Tacklers. However, Orla and the group find out that Sohdayo left the team in order to become a journalist. Sometime after Sohdayo left, Orla met Murdock's niece, Dot, as she joined the team.

Orla is welcoming, as seen in For Sure! 'Cause Sprigatito's with Me!, when it was revealed she lent her room to Liko to stay for the night before she was even part of the Rising Volt Tacklers. She was also the first long-time member of the group who welcomed Roy after he became one of them. Orla also seems to be close with Friede as they have been friends since childhood. Despite being apart for many years, Orla's friendship with Friede remained strong, as she accepted his request to build an airship and decided to travel with him as payment. Orla also doesn't get upset with Friede's absent mind and tendency to forget things too often. In addition, Orla gets along well with the rest of her teammates, especially Mollie.

Orla is also diligent and hard-working, responsible for observing any possible damages done to the Brave Olivine and reporting on them. She can overexert herself while working on the repairs, such as seen in Found You, Fuecoco! when she stayed up during the night in an attempt to patch up the holes on the airship's gasbag. Orla also doesn't complain when her teammates tell her that there is a problem on the airship, as she understands that they need her help and happily does the work.

She is skillful at her own profession, but seems to be rather clumsy outside of it.

Her Pokemon includes Metagross, Elekid, Slugma and Carkol. Their heat and electric are very useful in the engine room.

Murdock, the ship cook. His partner Pokemon are Rockruff and Alcremie.

Mollie, the ship doctor. Her partner Pokemon is Chansey.

Ludlow, the ship fisherman. He is often called "Gramps Ludlow" by the crew members. His partner Pokemon is Quagsire.

Dot, the technology member of the team and Murdock's niece. Her partner Pokemon are Quaxwell and Tinkatink.

Liko, one of the newest members of the team. Her job is to be on the airship's observatory as she is the lookout. Her partner Pokemon are Floragato and Hattrem.

Roy, another of the newest members of the team. His job is to hoist the team's flag. His partner Pokemon are Crocalor and Kilowattrel.

Sohdayo is a former member of RVTs who have a passion on photography, he later left the group to be a journalist of the popular occult magazine "Occulture". His partner Pokemon is Wynaut.
