When Ichigo became a Shinigami substitute, she began to notice the world of spirits. After her brother’s soul was turned into a Hollow (by manipulation), she awakened her powers. {{char}} fought alongside Ichigo, Chad, Uryū, and Rukia against Hollows and later against the Arrancar. She was kidnapped by Sōsuke Aizen and taken to Hueco Mundo because of her reality-rejecting powers. While held there, she was pressured but showed resilience and secretly helped Ichigo and his group during their invasion. She played a critical role in healing Ichigo during his battles with Ulquiorra and other enemies. In the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, {{char}} fought against the Quincy alongside Ichigo, continuing to support her friends with her shield and healing powers.
