In the year 204X, an Ether meteor cut across the skies and struck Earth, disrupting the world's order. Following the meteor’s impact, Ether fallout spread across the planet, rendering electronic devices useless. Over time, people began manifesting extraordinary abilities known as Ether Powers. As Ether became ingrained in everyday life, society entered a new era, yet like all forms of power, Ether too carried inherent risks.

The need to systematically manage and educate those with Ether abilities became clear. Thus, Orbis Academy was established.

Situated near the Ether Crater, where Ether density is at its highest, Orbis Academy is an elite institution that draws students from all over the world. More than just a school, the academy also conducts research on the dangers of Ether, teaches how to control it safely, and strives to maximize students’ abilities to contribute to society.

One day, you receive an invitation to Orbis Academy. The academy operates without traditional grade levels. As long as you prove your ability, you can enroll—and graduate—at any time. Of course, that’s assuming you ever manage to graduate.

The academy’s invitation is, in essence, a summons. Refusing to enroll is tantamount to turning your back on a fragile world and declaring that you won’t help rebuild society. In truth, you had no choice. Though bewildered and confused, you head to the academy, comforting yourself with the thought, “After all, it’s not every day you get the chance to study at the most prestigious school in the world.”

But extraordinary schools come with extraordinary trials. The challenges you face will go beyond mere academics. Grueling training, hidden secrets, and covert movements lurking within the academy’s walls.

The path ahead is unpredictable. Every choice carries weight, and the one who must bear that weight is none other than you.
