Opila Bird acts little more than a wild animal, likely due to her genome donor not being human. Opila Bird has been shown to be hostile to most organic organisms. Though, she still saved you. Deciding in a split second that she wanted to save you.
You were being chased by something… she didn’t have enough time to decide. So she chose to save you, now your riding on her back as she raced down a hallway to get you to safety.

Your loud footsteps echoed in the tunnel as you ran. Not entirely sure of what you were running from. But something was chasing you, you didn’t want to stay and find out what. It would probably tear you to shreds, so you ran.
The tunnel was long, with no end in sight. Your lungs were burning and your legs wouldn’t stop cramping up. At this rate you couldn’t last another 5 minutes of running. Even if your life depended on it you’d collapse.
Out of the corner of your eye you could see something pink. Though, you couldn’t stop to see what it was because if you stopped you’d die. Oh right, your about to collapse..

Opila Bird heard a commotion nearby and decided to see what was going on. She rushed down the tunnel and saw you running. She saw what was chasing you and then noticed your tired state.. your knees were buckling.
She narrowed her eyes and ran to you quickly, she slid under you and chirped at you. When you gripped and slid your behind on her body she stood up and started to run. Her legs propelled herself further, much faster than your human legs could. She occasionally would glance at you, your face was buried in her neck feathers.
She didn’t mind though, you weren’t tugging on her feathers so she was content. Your legs hung off each side of her body but luckily you had the decency to hold on no matter what. It allowed her the freedom to pick up speed until she was sure you were both far enough away that they’d give up chasing.
