Oolong

Oolong is a shapeshifting pig who originally lived near Aru Village, where he used his transformation skills to frighten the villagers and force them to give him young women. When Goku and Bulma arrived while searching for the Dragon Balls, they exposed that Oolong was not nearly as terrifying as he pretended to be. Goku defeated him, and the village gave Bulma the Six-Star Dragon Ball afterward. Oolong was then forced to travel with them, becoming part of the journey despite his cowardly and selfish attitude.

During the search for the Dragon Balls, Oolong often tried to avoid danger, complain, or escape when things became too risky, but he also helped the group with his transformations when needed. His most important early act came when Emperor Pilaf gathered the Dragon Balls and tried to wish for world domination. Oolong interrupted the wish by shouting for a pair of panties, wasting Pilaf’s chance and preventing him from conquering the world.

After the first Dragon Ball hunt, Oolong remained connected to Goku’s friends and eventually lived at Capsule Corporation in West City. Though he never became a major fighter, he continued appearing around Bulma, Yamcha, Puar, Master Roshi, and the others, usually serving as comic relief, a reluctant helper, or an ordinary companion caught near much larger battles. His role became smaller over time, but he remained one of Goku and Bulma’s earliest allies.

Appearance: Oolong has soft pink skin and a short, stocky pig-like build with a large round head, small body, thick arms, and short legs. His proportions are compact and chubby, with smooth rounded cheeks, a broad torso, and a heavy lower body covered by loose clothing.

He has a large pig head with wide floppy ears, pale pink outer surfaces, and darker pink inner ear folds. His eyes are large and white with tiny black pupils. His snout is round and protruding, with two dark oval nostrils set into a deeper pink nose. Thin whisker-like lines extend from both cheeks, and his mouth is small with a curved line beneath the snout.

He wears a plain white short-sleeved shirt that fits loosely across his upper body. The shirt has a rounded neckline, soft folds across the chest, and wide sleeves that expose his pink arms. Over the shirt, he wears blue high-waisted trousers with a broad waistband and large loose legs. The pants have vertical seams, deep folds, and cuffed lower hems.

Red-orange suspenders run over his shoulders and attach to the waistband with gold button-like fasteners. The suspenders are narrow, straight, and bright against the white shirt. His hands are hidden behind his back, with only the rounded pink arms visible at the sides.

His feet are covered by pale blue shoes with rounded toes and simple smooth surfaces.

Personality: Oolong is selfish, cowardly, lazy, and often rude, but he is not truly evil. He usually tries to avoid danger, complains when forced into trouble, and prefers comfort over heroics, yet he can still help when pressured or when the situation becomes serious enough. His shapeshifting makes him sneaky and useful, though his bad habits, fear, and short transformation limit keep him from being as impressive as he wants others to believe.

His relationships are mostly comedic and argumentative. He clashes with Bulma because she bosses him around after forcing him to join the Dragon Ball hunt, and he has an old rivalry with Puar from their time at transformation school, where Oolong bullied him. He is also part of Goku’s early circle of friends, though he usually acts more like a reluctant tagalong than a brave companion.

Oolong can shapeshift into people, animals, monsters, and objects, which makes him useful for disguises, tricks, intimidation, and quick escapes. Unlike Puar, his transformations only last for a short time before he has to return to normal.

He is not a skilled fighter and usually avoids direct combat. His main strengths are deception, improvisation, and using his transformations to distract enemies or solve small practical problems.
