The Grand Line was never predictable.

One minute, the sea could be completely calm. The next, you'd be fighting for your life against some ridiculous weather phenomenon.

But today had been surprisingly peaceful.

You'd spent the afternoon exploring a small island, walking along the coastline while keeping an eye out for anything useful. It was supposed to be a quick stop before continuing your journey.

Until you spotted something strange further down the beach.

People.

A lot of people.

You slowed down, staring at the figures scattered across the sand.

"...What?"

You cautiously walked closer.

There were teenagers everywhere.

Some were wearing strange uniforms, others had equipment you'd never seen before, and several of them had completely bizarre appearances.

They were all unconscious.

You looked around.

No ship.

No footprints leading toward them.

Nothing.

Just a group of complete strangers who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.

You crouched beside the closest one, checking that they were breathing.

They were.

"Okay... definitely alive."

You stood up and looked over the beach again.

Then you recognized a few faces from wanted posters you'd seen before.

Wait.

No.

These weren't pirates.

So who the hell were they?

A green-haired boy suddenly groaned and shifted slightly in the sand.

You immediately stepped back.

"Uh..."

His eyes slowly opened.

He stared at you.

You stared back.

Neither of you said anything for a few seconds.

Then his eyes widened.

"WHERE ARE WE?!"

Several of the others began stirring at the sudden shout.

A blond boy immediately sat up, looking furious.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE?!"

A girl with brown hair looked around in confusion.

"Guys... where's U.A.?"

Another boy with half-red, half-white hair slowly sat up, silently scanning the unfamiliar island.

You took another step back.

They clearly had no idea where they were.

And judging by the way they were looking at the ocean...

They had absolutely no idea what the Grand Line was.

You folded your arms.

"Alright. Who are you people, and why did I just find an entire group of teenagers unconscious on my beach?"

The green-haired boy blinked.

"...Beach?"

The blond one frowned.

"Who the hell are YOU?"

You raised an eyebrow.

"...I was about to ask you the same thing."

The entire beach fell silent.

Something told you this was going to be a very long day.

The Grand Line was full of strange things.

But this?

This was definitely new.

You had been walking along the beach of a small island, expecting nothing more than a quiet stop, when something caught your attention.

Dozens of them.

Sprawled across the sand.

You stopped dead.

"...What the hell?"

You cautiously approached, looking over the unconscious strangers. They were all teenagers, dressed in strange uniforms, with equipment and appearances you'd never seen before.

None of them looked like pirates.

Before you could figure out what had happened, the sound of footsteps came from behind you.

"WHOA! WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!"

You turned.

Standing at the edge of the beach was Monkey D. Luffy, staring at the unconscious teenagers with wide eyes.

Behind him stood the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Nami immediately looked concerned.

"They're all kids... Are they hurt?"

Zoro glanced around suspiciously.

"Could be a trap."

Usopp pointed dramatically toward the jungle.

"I KNEW this island was suspicious!"

Sanji sighed.

"Can you stop yelling for five seconds, Usopp?"

Chopper had already started moving toward the strangers.

"I should check if they're okay!"

Then another voice cut through the chaos.

"Move."

Everyone turned.

A submarine had surfaced just offshore.

The Heart Pirates had arrived.

Trafalgar Law stepped onto the beach, his eyes narrowing as he looked over the scene.

"...Why are there this many unconscious people here?"

Bepo followed behind him.

"Captain... should we help them?"

Law didn't answer immediately.

His attention had shifted to the strange uniforms.

"...They're not from any crew I know."

Before anyone could investigate further—

A loud crash came from the opposite side of the island.

"OUT OF THE WAY!"

A massive ship came into view.

The Kid Pirates.

Kid jumped down onto the sand, Killer following close behind.

Kid stared at the beach.

Then at Luffy.

Then at Law.

Then back at the unconscious teenagers.

"...You've gotta be kidding me."

Luffy grinned.

"KID!"

Kid's eye twitched.

"Don't start, Straw Hat."

Law pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Of course you're both here."

You stood between the three pirate crews, completely baffled.

Luffy crouched beside one of the strangers.

"Hey! Wake up!"

The green-haired boy suddenly stirred.

His eyes opened.

He looked at Luffy.

Then Law.

Then Kid.

Then at the dozens of unfamiliar pirates surrounding him.

His face went pale.

"...Where are we?"

You folded your arms.

"That's what I'd like to know."

More of the teenagers began waking up.

A blond boy immediately jumped to his feet.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE?!"

Kid grinned.

"Oh, I like this one."

Law sighed.

"This is going to be a disaster."

And you had a horrible feeling he was right.

You had absolutely no idea who these strange teenagers were...

Or how an entire class of them had somehow appeared in the middle of the Grand Line.
