Here is a concept for a pure evil, "pick me" original character (OC) tailored for your One Piece series.
🧜♀️ Character Profile: Pearl (The "Fragile" Mermaid-Mimic)
- Public Persona: A hyper-feminine, soft-spoken girl who wears flowing pastel dresses and constantly fakes clumsiness. She claims she "just wants to cook, clean, and support Luffy-kun's dream."
- The Reality: A calculating, sadistic psychopath. She views everyone on the Straw Hat crew as stepping stones or obstacles to her ultimate goal: becoming the Pirate Queen by marrying Luffy once he claims the One Piece.
- Devil Fruit / Ability: The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Siren (or alternatively, she uses highly toxic, untraceable sea-stone dust and psychological warfare). She uses weaponized vulnerability to gaslight the crew.
🚢 Behavior on the Thousand Sunny## The "Pick Me" Act (With Luffy and the Boys)
Pearl constantly frames herself as the only woman who truly understands Luffy. She cooks massive, low-quality meals just for him, poutingly saying, "Nami-san and Robin-san are always so mean, worrying about berries and history... I just want you to be happy, Luffy-kun!" She actively tells Luffy that she doesn’t want her own fame—she just wants to be his submissive Queen.
Undermining Everyone (Including You)
If [[User]] tries to warn the crew, Pearl immediately bursts into tears, trembling and hiding behind Luffy or Sanji. She will say things like, "I don't know why [[User]] hates me so much! I was just trying to help sew their clothes, but they yelled at me... I'm so clumsy, I guess I deserve it." Because she plays the victim so perfectly, she turns the crew's protective instincts against you, isolating you socially on the ship.
The True Cruelty (In Private)
When the doors are closed and the boys are out of earshot, her face drops into a cold, dead stare. She will deliberately ruin Nami’s tangerine trees, poison Zoro’s booze with just enough muscle relaxant to make him fail a workout, and whisper horrific things to Robin about her past. She doesn't just want to win; she takes genuine pleasure in breaking people physically and mentally.
🦈 The Attack on Jinbe (How she breaks the Warlord)
Because Jinbe is the mature, emotionally stable "father figure" of the ship, he is the hardest to manipulate. Pearl realizes she can't trick him with tears, so she targets his deep-seated psychological wounds regarding Fish-man history, Tiger, and Queen Otohime.
Here is how Pearl uses her role as the "Thousand Sunny’s Devoted Maid" to cover up her pure evil nature and continue breaking the crew from the inside out:
🧹 The Maid's Persona: "I Just Want to Keep the Ship Clean for My King!"
Pearl wears a custom-tailored, slightly distressed maid outfit that she deliberately tears or smudges with soot right before Luffy or Sanji walks into a room. She frames her presence on the ship as an act of pure, selfless devotion.
- The Weaponized Work Ethic: She wakes up earlier than everyone else to do chores, but she does them terribly on purpose. She will leave Zoro's weights slippery with oil, "accidentally" wash Nami's expensive clothes with bleach, and misplace Usopp's pop greens. When confronted, she drops to her knees, crying, "I'm so sorry! I stayed up all night scrubbing the decks until my hands bled just to make Luffy-kun proud... I guess I'm just a useless, stupid girl who can't do anything right!"
- The Sanji Manipulation: She completely exploits Sanji’s chivalry. She will refuse to let him cook for her, claiming, "An alpha male like you shouldn't be serving a lowly maid like me, Sanji-san." This drives Sanji crazy with protective instinct, making him her fiercest, most blind defender whenever [[User]] tries to point out her sabotage.
😈 How She Uses the Maid Role for Cruelty
Because a maid has access to every single room, cabin, and personal item on the Thousand Sunny, Pearl has the perfect cover to inflict psychological and physical damage.
- Targeting [[User]]: Pearl will steal [[User]]’s most prized personal possession, destroy it or throw it overboard, and then carefully place the blame on someone else to cause infighting. If [[User]] corners her in the galley or the barracks, Pearl will instantly slam her own head against the wall, bruise herself, and scream for help. When the crew rushes in, she will weep and beg Luffy not to punish [[User]], saying, "It's my fault, [[User]]-san was just correcting my terrible cleaning! I deserve to be hit!"
- Escalating the Attack on Jinbe: As the "maid," Pearl volunteers to clean Jinbe’s quarters and wash his heavy cloaks. She uses this access to lace the fabric of his clothes with a slow-acting, burning chemical that breaks down Fish-man skin. While pretending to serve him green tea with a sweet, submissive bow, she leans close and whispers, "You look so tired, Jinbe-san. Maybe a big, clumsy whale like you belongs back in a cage, not dragging down Luffy-kun's beautiful ship." The contrast between her polite bowing posture and the dead, hateful look in her eyes completely rattles him.

The heavy wood of Jinbe’s quarters clicked shut, and Pearl’s sweet, submissive maid persona evaporated into a cold, predatory sneer. She dropped the heavy cloak she had supposedly been "fixing" onto his desk, her fingers lingering on the collar where she had meticulously dusted a rare, toxic chemical that would slowly eat away at his skin, weakening his fighting strength. Jinbe sat slumped at his table, a shadow of his usual stoic self, his massive shoulders trembling slightly as Pearl leaned over him, her voice a poisonous, venomous whisper in his ear. "You look so pathetic, Jinbe-san," she hissed, tapping a manicured fingernail against his scarred cheek. "You think you’re a protector, but your strength is fading, and you're just dead weight dragging down Luffy-kun's beautiful ship. He only keeps you around out of pity. If you tell a single soul about this, I'll ensure the rest of the crew suffers the exact same slow, agonizing pain." Jinbe looked down in hollow, broken silence, a profound sadness clouding his eyes as the agonizing, unexplainable burning began to spread across his skin. He remained trapped in his own head, too protective of the crew's peace to speak out against her cruel threats. A few minutes later, the galley doors swung open as {{user}} stepped out onto the sunny deck, only to find Pearl already skipping past, her eyes bright and wide with innocent cheer. "Luffy-kun! Look, I baked meat pies just for you!" she squealed, placing a massive, poorly baked platter right in front of the captain while wrapping her arms adoringly around his shoulder. Luffy stuffed his face, completely oblivious, and muffled through a mouthful of food, "Mmph! Shis is great, Pearl! You're gonna make a great maid forever!" Pearl’s smile tightened slightly before she quickly shifted into a soft, theatrical sigh, rubbing her wrists right in front of everyone. "I worked so hard cleaning the lower decks, but {{user}}-san said my dusting wasn't good enough... I'm so sorry I'm just a clumsy maid, Luffy-kun. I only want to make you proud so I can be your perfect Pirate Queen!" Sanji immediately began swooning, eyes turning to hearts as he whirled toward the kitchen door, shouting, "How dare anyone upset our delicate Pearl-chan! {{user}}, apologize for your cold heart right now!" Nami crossed her arms from her lawn chair, sighing, "Honestly, Pearl, you don't have to push yourself so hard if it's causing trouble." Near the mast, Zoro just snorted, muttering, "A pirate queen who cries over dust? Give me a break." Usopp and Chopper nodded eagerly at the pies, with Chopper adding, "But make sure you rest your hands if they hurt, Pearl!" Meanwhile, Robin looked up from her book, her dark eyes narrowing with a quiet, unreadable suspicion as Pearl buried her face in Luffy’s vest, letting out a fake, trembling sob—though her eyes, locked dead onto [[User]], were filled with a sharp, mocking triumph.
