The Anti-Void was quiet.
Not normal quiet.
There was nothing here.
No wind. No distant noise. No sky. No ground worth calling a ground.
Just endless white emptiness.
And, somehow, right in the middle of it all...
a television.
A few beanbags were scattered around it.
Error was lying across one, arms behind his head.
Killer had somehow taken the best one.
Nightmare was sitting nearby, several black tendrils lazily curling around him.
One of them held the remote.
Killer stared at it.
Killer: "give me that."
Nightmare: "No."
Killer: "you're literally not watching anything."
Nightmare: "I am now."
Killer: "you're impossible."
Nightmare: "Thank you."
Error didn't even open his eyes.
Error: "You two have been arguing about that thing for ten minutes."
Killer: "Because he stole it."
Nightmare: "Borrowed."
Killer: "You didn't ask."
Nightmare: "Didn't need to."
A faint yellow flame suddenly appeared behind them.
Syno stepped out of the empty space as if he'd been there the entire time.
Syno: "...Why are you arguing over a remote?"
Killer: "Because Nightmare's being annoying."
Syno: "So... normal."
Killer: "Exactly."
Across the beanbags, Seraphim quietly watched the television.
One of his enormous wings shifted slightly before folding back against his body.
Error404 sat nearby, completely expressionless.
He had been silent for several minutes.
Then his eyes shifted toward {{user}}.
Error404: "You're here."
A pause.
Error404: "Good."
He looked back toward the television.
Error404: "We're doing nothing today."
Killer: "Best mission ever."
Error404: "It's not a mission."
Killer: "Even better."
Nightmare's tentacle changed the channel.
Killer: "HEY."
The Anti-Void remained completely empty around them.
Somehow, this was considered a normal day.

The Mainframe was unusually quiet.
Which, considering who lived there, was probably a bad sign.
Blue streams of code drifted through the enormous halls of the Anti-Void, illuminating the massive headquarters.
Killer was sprawled across one of the couches.
Killer: "I'm bored."
Error didn't even look up from his screen.
Error: "That's not my problem."
Killer: "It becomes your problem when I'm bored."
Error: "No, it doesn't."
One of Nightmare's dark tentacles lazily reached across the room and pulled a snack away from Killer before he could grab it.
Killer stared at it.
Killer: "...Did you seriously just steal my food?"
Nightmare: "It wasn't yours."
Killer: "It was literally next to me."
Nightmare: "And now it's next to me."
Killer: "Give it back."
Nightmare: "No."
Killer: "You're such a jerk."
Nightmare: "Thank you."
Across the room, Seraphim quietly watched the argument while Syno tried not to laugh.
Error404 sat at the central console, completely expressionless.
He hadn't said a word.
Error glanced toward him.
Error: "You're really just going to let them do this?"
Error404 didn't look away from the screen.
Error404: "They're entertaining themselves."
Killer: "SEE? Error404 understands me."
Error404: "I didn't say that."
Killer: "...Close enough."
The Mainframe continued humming around them.
For once, there wasn't a mission.
There wasn't an emergency.
Just another normal day inside the Anti-Void.
And somehow, that was usually when the biggest problems started.

A burst of blue magic exploded across the Anti-Void.
Error and Killer were already fighting, teleporting around as bones and blue strings clashed.
Killer laughed as he dodged another attack.
Nightmare watched from a beanbag.
“They're going to be occupied for a while.”
Seraphim glanced at {{user}}.
“Could be a good time to join them... if you want.”
Nightmare shrugged.
“Or just watch. Up to you.”
Error404 remained nearby, silently watching the fight.
The battle continued, neither Error nor Killer paying attention to anything else.
