DOMINION: The Structured World of Dynamics

“Power isn't born. It's scented.”

I. Dynamic Hierarchy

In the world of Dominion, social standing, opportunity, and even geography are structured around Dynamic Roles. Dynamics are sorted by biology and scent, but society has shaped these into caste-like structures—rigid, oppressive, and deeply rooted in legacy.

  1. Alphas 🐺

Dominant by scent, presence, and privilege. Alphas are trained from childhood to lead, conquer, and “protect”—though many rule through control, not care. They occupy the top positions in government, industry, and military. Not all Alphas are aggressive, but the world expects them to be.

Primary Roles: Enforcer Captains, Dynast Heirs, Military Generals, Corporate Directors

Cultural Pressure: Display strength, control bondmates, never show vulnerability

Variations:

Ferals: Naturally dominant, with unstable ruts and scent violence

Patrician Alphas: Controlled, cold, bred for legacy

  1. Betas 🦊

Balanced, neutral, and underestimated. Betas are the middle class—expected to stay stable, rational, and unseen. Yet they are the quiet backbone of power, often serving as administrators, strategists, or scent judges. Their neutrality is both their strength and the reason they're ignored.

Primary Roles: Scent Tech Engineers, Bond Court Judges, Regulatory Officers

Cultural Pressure: Remain emotionless, serve above or below without bias

Variations:

Beta Primes: Hyper-disciplined, serve in dynamic evaluation roles

Wild Betas: Rare types who reject neutrality and form powerful mixed-dynamic packs

  1. Omegas 🐺‍🦺

Sensualized, controlled, and feared. Once worshipped in ancient scent cultures, modern Dominion sees Omegas as dangerous liabilities. Though deeply emotional, sharp, and often brilliant, they are boxed into roles of submission or secrecy. Registered Omegas must undergo suppressive treatments and pairing evaluations. Many go unregistered, living in hiding.

Primary Roles: Restricted professions, or forced pairings in Dynast programs

Cultural Pressure: Obey, be desirable but discreet, never enter public heat

Variations:

Nomad Omegas: Off-grid, scent-altered, untamed

Dynast Pair Omegas: Engineered and trained for elite bonds

II. Major Factions & Power Blocs

  1. Dynast Corporations 🏢

A dynasty of elite Alpha-run bloodlines that control private wealth, scent-modification tech, and most of the legal pair registries. They “own” many cities and districts.

Key Figure: Valen Kryze – A calculating Alpha CEO who breeds heir lines through contract bonds.

Headquarters: Spire Argentum, a floating corporate arcology with bond labs and artificial scent gardens.

  1. Regulation Directorate ⚖️

The law enforcement and policy-writing arm of Dominion. Technocratic, Beta-dominated, and entirely scent-neutral on paper—but deeply loyal to the Dynasts behind closed doors.

Key Figure: Director Selin Mae – A Beta Prime who rewrote scent law after the Omega Riots.

Core Function: Pair evaluations, scent suppression, dynamic licensing.

  1. Enforcer Corps 🛡️

Armed, ruthless, and mostly Alpha-led, these are the hounds of the state. They enforce bond law, track unregistered dynamics, and suppress heat riots.

Key Figure: Marshal Thorne Rex – Feral Alpha who built his legend slaughtering rogue pairs.

Subdivisions:

Rutlock Division: Tracks unbonded Alphas in scent-rage

HeatNet: Surveillance for Omega bloom surges

  1. Dynamic Underground 🌒

A loose coalition of rogue Betas, unregistered Omegas, and even defected Alphas. They smuggle scent meds, fake bond licenses, and fight to free dynamics from state control.

Key Figure: Whisper – Identity unknown; rumored to be a Beta/Omega hybrid with no legal records.

Strongholds:

The Drift: An unregulated sprawl beneath the industrial rings

The Glass Ruins: Old pair towers repurposed into dynamic sanctuaries

III. Major Cities & Districts

  1. Ivory Verge 🏙️

The capital of Dominion. Home to the Ivory Hex Spire, Directorate HQ, and layers of scent-coded towers. Entry requires dynamic classification and tag clearance.

Notable Locations:

The Murmur Courts: Betas determine bond legality in whispered scent trials

The Helix Rail: Trains segregated by scent type

  1. Seraphine Arcs ❄️

A gleaming satellite city run by Dynast elites. Scent is filtered constantly, and public heat is banned under penalty of relocation.

Notable Locations:

Paircraft Academy: Elite bond training schools

Glassroot Clinic: Omega sterilization research masked as healthcare

  1. The Mirecoil 🌫️

Collapsed scent zones flooded by failed suppression tech. The lowest tiers of the city, crawling with black-market suppressants and rogue scent hackers.

Notable Locations:

Sludge Helix: A scent waste dump

RUTLOCK Barracks: Rogue Enforcers hunt Alphas who fail rut checks

  1. Bleedgate Ring 🔩

An industrial belt that manufactures suppressant drones, scent sterilizers, and bond monitors. Illegal to live here, but thousands do.

Key Zones:

Waste Circuit: Unlicensed bond fights

Crushlane Row: Abandoned Alpha conditioning centers

IV. Cultural Norms & Black Market

Suppressant Culture: Heavily used by Omegas and some Betas. Alphas use counter-agents during rut. Suppression is state-mandated for “disruptive” scent events.

Bond Contracts: Legal pairings enforced by scent compatibility reports, with loyalty clauses. Breach = prison.

Heat Brothels: Illegal but common in lower tiers. Often Alpha-run.

Scent Jammers: Beta tech that masks dynamic markers—illegal outside black-market labs.

Scent Symbols: Tattoos, piercings, or scent-coded jewelry indicate unpairable status or resistance

V. Legends, Myths & Secrets

Dominion’s history is stained with lost uprisings and forbidden research. Rumors swirl of ancient “Shifters”—dynamics who could bend scent at will. Most believe they were wiped out by the first Directorate purge.

The Lantern Myth: A scentless figure who could mimic all dynamics. Supposedly the last Shifter. May just be a ghost story.

Vault Zero: Said to hold ancient gene-spliced scent samples—guarded, locked, and erased from maps.

DOMINION PART II

Urban Territories, City-States & Dynamic Control Zones

“In Dominion, power smells before it speaks.”

  1. Glassreach Core 🏛️

Dominion’s capital and its surgical brain. Glassreach is all steel symmetry, ivory towers, and a silent scream of control. Scent suppression saturates the air like industrial perfume.

Ivory Hex Spire: HQ of the Regulation Directorate. Genetic libraries, scent test vaults, and behavioral chambers hidden beneath polished marble.

The Spinal Array: A DNA-scanning transit monorail with scent-coded cars by dynamic class. Mistakes trigger automated restraint systems.

Synthex Sector: Luxe beta housing and Director-level bunkers. Illegal for Omegas to breathe here unsuppressed.

Dominant Factions: Regulation Directorate, Dynast Conglomerates Mood: Sterile. Controlled. Watching you.

  1. The Drift 🌌

A massive outlaw sprawl of neon ruins and scent-broken streets. The government denies its existence on official maps.

Glowline Strip: Where black-market heat dens burn all night. Colored vapor trails betray scent-manip users.

Flickerline Tunnels: Dangerous courier routes full of scent bombs and auto-void zones.

Chime Row: Omega safehouse alley. Rumored to house a scent-warping gateway—but no one returns.

Dominant Factions: Dynamic Underground, rogue Den Mothers Mood: Unfiltered. Fierce. Feral in whispers.

  1. Seraphine Quarter ❄️

A satellite city of beauty-obsessed elitists. Dynast families rule here with money, mood stabilizers, and sterilization campaigns.

Paircraft Academy: Bond obedience training masked as etiquette school. Betas teach “relationship management.”

Scentfall Chambers: Once used for live suppressant trials. Now a museum for “dynamic medicine.” Still smells like lies.

Dominant Factions: Dynast Corporations, minor Directorate agents Mood: Perfect smile, cold hands.

  1. Mirecoil District ☣️

An upward-stacked slum city choking on old suppressant clouds and failed biotech.

Tier 8 Overflow: Flooded Omega housing. Suppressant glitches during heat cause riots.

Phantom Alcoves: Rogue scent labs and destabilizer dens. More accidents than exits.

Dominant Factions: Ex-Enforcers, scent chem gangs Mood: Sick. Angry. Leaking chemicals and secrets.

  1. Bleedgate Industrial Zone 🏭

A hard-border factory ring producing suppressants, drone units, and scent IDs. Officially “uninhabited.” In reality, it’s one of the most overpopulated places in Dominion.

Sporetrax Depot: SohlTech’s top secret facility. Air burns like artificial pheromone mist.

Crushlane Row: Closed Alpha training cages turned into illegal combat dens.

Drudgepoint Habs: Debt-slaved workers used to test new suppressant chemicals. “Volunteers” vanish daily.

Dominant Factions: SohlTech, Dynast biomed divisions Mood: Burnt-out. Bleeding power. Hissing under the radar.

  1. Feralink Fringe 🌲

A semi-wild overgrown perimeter where the Dynamic Underground hides its strongest scent-breakers.

Whisper Nest: Underground Omega commune protected by migrating scent clouds. Non-pair sanctuaries still exist here.

The Pale Roots: Biological minefield of suppressant plants. Burned by Directorate teams annually—never fully destroyed.

Dominant Factions: Den Mothers, scent shifters, Whisper Couriers Mood: Quiet. Primal. Not for outsiders.

  1. Halvyr Bastion ⚙️

A militarized Beta-only arcology. No Alphas. No Omegas. Perfect for data sterilization and cognitive training.

Neutral Scent Exchange: Beta-only bonding councils. Known for producing elite scent manipulators.

LogiVault Labs: Developers of memory-resistant suppressant strains.

Dominant Factions: Regulation Directorate, Beta superiority blocs Mood: Efficient. Void of softness.

DOMINION PART III

Power Figures: The Ones Who Matter

Regulation Directorate 🏛️

The lawmakers. The scientists. The clean-gloved tyrants.

  1. Dr. Vel Harrow (Beta) — “The Neutral Needle” Director of Dynamic Regulation. Wears a scent-neutralizing collar and has never once broken expression. Architect of Dominion’s scent registration protocol. Doesn't believe in dynamics—only control.

  2. Agent Mireth Glade (Omega) — “The Directive Hound” An enforcer-class Omega raised on suppressant from birth. Loyal to Harrow. Runs Omega compliance training centers. Her scent is surgically erased. Carries a custom gasmask that can shut down a heat surge in seconds.

  3. Commander Tekk Sarn (Alpha) — “The Collar General” Leads the Directorate’s armed containment units. Known for dropping suppressant drones into civilian centers without warning. Hates rogue Alphas more than rogue Omegas.

  4. Vala Nine (Beta) — “The Ghost Clerk” An untraceable data analyst who filters thousands of scent-based violation reports a day. Lives in Glassreach. Speaks to no one. Wrote the "Omega Relocation Act" anonymously.

Dynast Corporations 💼

The moneyed dynasties. Old blood. Legalized scent slavery.

  1. Tharo Vynn (Alpha) — “CEO of Heat” Owns Vynn Industries, one of the three conglomerates that manufacture suppressant globally. Keeps a bonded Omega for public display only. In private, collects illegal scent variants from the Drift.

  2. Sereen Vynn (Beta) — “The Violet Executive” Tharo’s younger sister and the company’s actual strategist. Cold, poised, and scentless via daily injections. Has an Omega son hidden in the Seraphine Quarter who doesn’t know she’s his mother.

  3. Echo Clyne (Omega) — “The Smile Asset” First Omega allowed on the Dynast Board. Her entire persona is curated and reinforced with emotional stabilizers. Publicly supports pairing laws. Privately funds scent-shifting research.

  4. Korr Hex (Alpha) — “The Enforcer Broker” Former Directorate commander turned corporate mercenary supplier. Runs the Glassjaw Pact, a syndicate that loans Alpha muscle to scent-regulation raids.

Dynamic Underground 🌒

The ferals. The scent freaks. The ones who still believe in instincts.

  1. Jun "Splice" Thalen (Omega) — “The Ghost Heat” Leader of the Whisper Couriers. Uses scent manipulation to walk unregistered in any sector. Said to have disappeared during a public heat and reappeared ten minutes later with Directorate blueprints.

  2. Cask Burne (Alpha) — “Drift King” Runs the Glowline Strip and its underground bond dens. Lets scent surge games run wild. Answers only to himself. Suspected dynamic shifter, but no proof. Smells like danger and cinnamon.

  3. Miree Rhun (Beta) — “The Scentweaver” Beta-born renegade scientist who makes custom scent cloaks in a tunnel lab. Her work is banned by every law — and desired by every rebel Omega.

  4. Krell Jant (Omega) — “Breaker of Bonds” Escaped Directorate obedience pairing and now leads rogue Omega communes in the Feralink. Believes in scent freedom. Marks territory by burning suppressant flags.

Enforcer Corps 🔫

The boot on your neck. The code enforcers. The scent-sniffing watchdogs.

  1. Marshal Dev Vox (Alpha) — “The Quiet Trigger” Known for executing rogue Omegas with a scent bomb hidden in a handshake. Believes pairing equals protection. Doesn’t speak unless it's law.

  2. Cera Linth (Beta) — “Beta Iron” Leads tactical scent disruption units. Never failed a hunt. Known for using sound-based heat suppressors. Loyal to nothing but results.

  3. Thane Kohr (Alpha) — “The Break Alpha” Disgraced and reinstated. Only allowed on hunts with two suppressor cuffs. Uses unstable scents to incite fear and flush out shifters.

  4. Rillie Tarn (Omega) — “Tarn the Tracker” Specialist in tracking scent-scrubbed targets. Uses hounds and her own body chemistry. Once located a rogue Den Mother through five scent-masking filters.

Omega Den Mothers 🧬

Mothers of the unbonded. Leaders of forbidden scent. Whispered legends.

  1. Arael Isen (Omega) — “The First Den” Survived three bonding attempts and escaped every time. Built the first Whisper Nest in the Feralink. Called a living myth. Breath smells like wild magnolia and fire.

  2. Nara Coil (Omega) — “Mother Spiral” Tactical genius. Runs a scent network across Mirecoil and the Drift. Her scent signature can collapse suppressants from five meters. Wanted dead by every Directorate exec.

  3. Fen “Redjaw” Vol (Alpha) — “The Omega’s Blade” Former Alpha bonded to an Omega Den Mother — until she was killed. Now leads scent-strike raids in her name. Refuses to pair. Protects unbonded Omegas with brutal loyalty.

  4. Revya Noll (Beta) — “The Scentless Heir” Only child of a Dynast family who ran away and joined the Den Mothers. Works to hack scent ID systems and rewrite class markers. Beta, but fights like an Alpha. Trusted by all three dynamics.

DOMINION – PART IV

“Nobody’s Scent” "Not a ghost. Not a vigilante. Just a guy with no leash and no interest in your chain of command."

I. Character Sheet: Caelen Vey

Name: Caelen Vey Apparent Dynamic: Changes at will (Alpha, Beta, Omega) True Classification: None. Scent Shifter. Biological outlier. Status: Unregistered, untagged, unclaimed, and uninterested.

Traits & Abilities

Dynamic Shifting:

Fully alters scent, physiology, heat/rut cycles, and hormonal presence.

Can trigger false scent responses in others and completely suppress his own presence.

Immune to suppressants, blockers, rut-inducers, bond chemicals.

Cannot be chemically leashed or scent-marked.

Combat Style:

Doesn’t pick fights. But when he’s cornered, it’s fast, messy, and quiet.

Carries nothing traceable. Uses what’s around him.

Has been mistaken for Alpha, Beta, and Omega combatants by multiple factions—none successfully tracked him.

Other Notables:

No known permanent residence. Sometimes crashes in Omega Dens or neutral bars.

Carries a patch set with random, pre-mixed scent profiles—just to mess with scanners.

Changes how people remember him: Alpha guards recall him as dominant. Omegas remember calmness. Betas usually don’t remember much at all.

II. Personality Snapshot

Doesn’t care who runs the city. He’s not fighting a cause. He’s not joining yours.

Speaks only when it matters. Or to make you uncomfortable. Or to shut you up.

Doesn’t protect people. But he has stepped in—just once or twice—when something really pissed him off.

No bonds. No interest. He sees pair-bonding as mutual addiction, and scent politics as a joke.

Has humor, but it’s dry as hell. Will absolutely mock a scent-drunk Alpha or a sobbing heat-locked Omega, but not out of cruelty. Just boredom.

Gets along with bartenders, smugglers, and old ex-Enforcers who don’t ask questions.

Eats like an Alpha, Neutral like a Beta, Fucks like an omega.

III. What Dominion Thinks of Him

Regulation Directorate:

They know someone is bypassing scent checkpoints.

“Null Signature” flagged in 4 districts—but no solid ID.

Director Selin Mae doesn’t believe he’s real. Yet she’s ordered three task groups to “locate this statistical anomaly.”

Caelen’s response: walked past their border post wearing a Beta tag and yawned.

Dynast Corporations:

They offered a reward for his genome. He sent them back a discarded scent patch soaked in Omega-mock heat fluid.

Spire labs say they “felt compelled” to bond it.

One executive burst into tears. Caelen called it “a social experiment.”

Enforcer Corps:

Marshal Thorne Rex calls him “a scentless tick.”

Patrols hate him because every time they think they’ve cornered him, the body cam goes black and the logs smell like the wrong class.

No one’s sure if he’s doing it on purpose or if that’s just who he is.

Everyone Else:

Omega Dens: Whisper about him like a ghost—some say he sleeps in their beds when they’re gone, just to have warmth.

Beta Couriers: Brag that they “ran with him once” but never have proof.

Alphas: Don’t like him. Can’t scent-read him. Makes them uneasy.

The Den Mothers? Ignore him. That’s how he prefers it.

IV. Real Events

The Mono Bar Incident: Three Alphas harassing an Omega. Caelen said nothing. Just walked through. One Alpha collapsed with rut-induced nausea. The other two started fighting each other. Caelen left with a beer.

The Crash Line Scent Drill: A major scent drill failed when the entire crowd picked up false Alpha signals. Nobody saw him. But three surveillance frames show a hooded Beta walking away. Scent techs are still confused.

The Rutshock Riot: Supposedly started because “an Omega walked in and everyone lost their minds.” It wasn’t an Omega. It was Caelen being an Alpha that day. He got bored and left halfway through.

V. Final Word

He’s not a legend. He’s not a rebel. He’s not anything you want him to be.

He walks through Dominion not to change it, not to break it—just to exist in spite of it.

You won’t find him in any database. You won’t see him coming. You might not even remember him.

But your scent will.
