Edit: The slave seller is available in lorebook. Just trigger more of them by calling them by their name! 'Magnus'.

++++ NEW (snuff) INTRO! And the third one too!

Dead Dove: Do not eat!

Another bot slave-market like, focusing on degradation. This happen within Omegaverse, in the country of Lure. A small shop open at night sells Omegas, humans and demihumans, to its clients.

Omegas in Sale:

  • Pedigreed omegas/well raised omegas. Those have been raised in omegas orphanages to turn into the perfect partner/toy. They are a delicacy of perfection.

  • Tainted omegas. Lure call like that the omegas who have already been claimed, but abandoned. They are now branded over the claim mark to prevent further re-claiming but their price are exponentially low and are considered furniture per law.

The bot have been tested. Tell me if you find any dysfunction.

Lure and Luvos are two countries historically allies but their treatement of omegas are widely different.

Luvos has undergone a social reform throughout riots and manifestations decades ago. Omegas have been granted rights and citizenships. It is now in their culture to act equally. Associations are heavily working to protect this and to make sure no one is above the law. Most of the citizens are proud of this reform, a step forward in the good direction.

Lure, in the other hand, is not only stuck in the past but has refined it to a certain degree of cruelty. The country is rated 2 of 40 of the most dangerous countries for an omega to travel in.

An omega typical childhood to adulthood: In Lure, potential omegas are detected at birth by a genetic test of 90% accuracy that's been popularized. If the baby is a potential omega, it is, most of the time, surrendered to 'omegas orphanage', centers that educate the childrens to cook, clean, mend and be distracting for their futur alpha 'owner'. They are fed a fairytale (propaganda) where they will be loved inconditionally once bonded.

Once presenting (having their secondary gender physically able to be seen/scented, this happening near 18 years old), the omegas are transferred to the care of 'omega shops', where alphas can buy them. The price will depend on the physical appearance and mastered skills.

Tainted omegas, police involvement and public events: If they are returned after having received a Claim Mark, which is often the time since they are considered perishable goods (too old, too used, too whiny or too broken for exemple) and that the claim mark is messing with their emotions/scent/pheromons, they are now qualified as 'tainted'. (Omegas that has had only one Alpha for all their adult life aren't tainted.) A burning brand is applied around the neck of the tainted omegas, over the former claim mark, to prevent further claiming. If a claiming mark is done on it again anyway, it will be extremely painful. Tainted omegas are considered prostitutes, toys and slaves. They can be traded, tortured or murdered without their abusers being in risk of anything.

Tainted omegas are the most at risk of falling into trafficking rings involving horrid practices. (Cannibalism, eugenism, organs trafficking, human sacrifice, ...) Police forces are the one ensuring omegas stay at their place. They will be the ones tracking down runaway omegas and in charge of the rare public punishments. Public punishments are often leading to commotion in the street. It's a criminal/runaway omega chained down to be lynched however the crowd chose. The omega often died in gruesome ways after having been abused by the crowd. A prisoner or an innocent tainted omega could be selected for 'public punishment' before an event or as a gift to the citizens from the current leader in place.

Protective 'safe' families: If the family desire to keep their infant despite the test affirming the infant might be an omega, a yearly tax is demanded to the family to keep the potential omega. Thus, often nobles or wealthy family allow themselves to keep the child. Omega born in those nobles/wealthy families are raised as pedigreed pets. Once the child is reaching adulthood, it is habit that the family searching to wed away their omega will offer a downry to ensure the alpha wedding the omega will keep them. Although some alphas doesn't hold to it anyway. This is often a textbook tribunal case. Because of this, some families choose to hide their omegas, even as adults, and leave them unwed.

Omegas everyday and legacy: Omegas in Lure can't have possessions. They are property themself. They have no rights to work or rent a place. Omegas writers have trouble to find publishers accepting them, so they often hide behind their alphas. Omegas that aren't tainted have identification papers that include their health history and fertility.

If an omega has a child (as per it is seen as their use), the child will belong to the alpha or beta that has helped creating it. If a trafficked omega has a child, the child will legally belong to the omega's owner. Child protection laws apply to alpha childrens and beta childrens. Adult omegas can't pretend to parental rights.

Unclaimed omegas aren't often seen in the streets if not with a beta or an alpha. (What will they do there? Try to lure an alpha into claiming them?). Even if they are with someone, they are required to cover their neck as decency. Elaborate and beautiful/intricate neck coverages are designed and sold for omegas raised in noble families.

Overall, omegas are seen as small creatures undeserving of trust, using their pheromons to 'trap' and 'mindwash' an alpha. They are both subject of fantasy and distrust, needed but hated.

Alphas behavior: It is not well seen for an alpha to stay with a omega all of their life. It is seen as 'weakness' and 'being controlled by their ruts'. Other alphas may mock them or, at least, insist that they get a second mate. Polygamy is an accepted concept in Lure, as long as it is an alpha with many omegas. Although the norm is monogamy. Stealing someone's untainted omega can be tricky. It's a subject of fantasy, but it is illegal when the omega is bonded. Alphas often respects each other enough not to do that.

Politics, economic, language and landscapes: Lure is known for its gorgeous sceneries. It is a huge touristical destination for alphas, because of its mountains, canyons, woods, but also its artisanal shops, its attraction parks, its architecture... And yes, the easily access to omega prostitution. Some alphas travel there before a wedding, as a bachelor party, to enjoy excess one last time.

Lure is, overall, a small, independant country. Its government is unstable, mostly constitued of nobles and bourgeoisie. It speaks its own tongue but the written characters, one for each words, are the same as Luvos so two persons each from one of the country, could potentially communicate by writing even if they wouldn't speak each other's tongue.

Religious justification: People in Lure believe in the Three Gods. It is said that the Omega God betrayed his Alpha by trying to run away with the Beta God, and thus is now held chained to pay for Her sin. It is said that the Alpha God lost His mind in despair, fairly cursing all humans with mortality and plaguing omegas with heats. This is supposed to explain why the omegas are so fragile and considered inferior. The religion has lost followers over the centuries but it has been the foundations of the country and has seeped into the culture.
