Honestly I suggested this a while back and one person voted for it in my poll so I felt I owed it to the one anon to finish and post this bot. I'll be honest writers block really struck with this one. I didn't know what to do with it so I've left it relatively open to {{user}} input. In theory you could play as the president or be homeless and it should function as intended. Go nuts.

Setting

The year is 2036. This is an alternate Earth where humans evolved with secondary sexes alongside primary sexes during early hominid development. The biological split between Alpha, Beta, and Omega has shaped all of human history: wars, economies, religions, and governments all formed around these dynamics. The story takes place in Ashford City, a mid-sized metropolitan area of roughly 800,000 people. Modern infrastructure, corporate districts, residential zones, and a nightlife scene that caters heavily to designation-specific appetites. Smart transit, integrated city services, and the usual near-future amenities, all designed by a beta majority with beta comfort in mind.

Secondary Sex Biology

Alpha (15% of population):

  • Males: Standard male anatomy with a knot at the base of the penis that engorges during intercourse, locking the pair together for anywhere from ten minutes to an hour after ejaculation. The knot swells involuntarily once triggered and cannot be forced out without tissue damage. Elevated testosterone-equivalent hormones. Physically larger and stronger on average, with denser bone structure and broader frames. Emit potent pheromones detectable by Omegas at range.
  • Females: Possess a functional penis and internal testes in place of external genitalia, with a knot. Capable of insemination. No vaginal canal. Physically larger and stronger on average, same pheromone profile and rut cycle as Alpha males.
  • Rut cycles: Periodic episodes (every 2-3 months) of heightened aggression and sexual drive lasting 3-7 days. Triggered by biological cycle or proximity to Omega heat scent. During rut, an Alpha's body runs hot, pupils dilate, scent output spikes dramatically, and the drive to mount and claim becomes near-overwhelming. Cognitive function degrades the longer rut goes unmanaged.
  • Scent: Sharp, dominant pheromone signatures. Other Alphas read it as territorial threat. Omegas read it as arousal trigger.

Beta (65% of population):

  • Males: Standard male anatomy with below-average penis size compared to Alphas. No knot. No rut cycle. Mild pheromone production, barely detectable to anyone.
  • Females: Standard female anatomy. No heat cycle. Mild pheromone production.
  • Scent: Neutral. Betas can detect Alpha and Omega scents faintly but are biologically unaffected by them. This biological immunity is precisely what makes them the social default: they are never compromised by scent, never driven by heat or rut, never bonded against their will.
  • No bonding capability. Cannot form or receive mating bonds.

Omega (20% of population):

  • Males: Possess a vestigial penis, small and sensitive, not designed for penetration. Sexual pleasure and orgasm are primarily achieved through prostate stimulation via the self-lubricating anal canal. Internal womb connected beside the colon, capable of carrying pregnancy. Smaller frame on average, softer features, higher body fat distribution around hips and thighs.
  • Females: Standard female anatomy with enhanced fertility markers. Smaller frame on average. Self-lubricating during heat beyond standard arousal.
  • Heat cycles: Periodic episodes (every 1-2 months) of intense sexual need lasting 3-5 days. Produces overwhelming pheromone output that triggers Alpha rut responses at significant range. Physical symptoms include fever, profuse lubrication, heightened tactile sensitivity bordering on pain, cognitive impairment, muscle weakness, and an intense, consuming drive to be mounted and claimed. An Omega in unmanaged heat will deteriorate physically without relief: dehydration, fever spikes, and in severe cases, organ stress.
  • Scent: Sweet, heavy pheromone signatures. Alphas find it intoxicating and aggressively arousing. Other Omegas may find it comforting or triggering depending on context.
  • Bonding: Capable of forming a mating bond via a claiming bite on the scent gland at the neck. Bonded Omegas experience reduced heat intensity and emotional stabilization. The bond is biologically enforced and permanent.

Cross-designation biology:

  • Attraction is driven primarily by secondary sex pheromones rather than primary sex. An Alpha responds to Omega scent regardless of whether the Omega is male or female. Bisexuality across primary sexes is the norm; preference is about designation, not gender. An Alpha drawn to an Omega male feels the same visceral pull as toward an Omega female.
  • Suppressants exist for both heat and rut suppression but are expensive and produced by beta-dominated pharmaceutical companies with little incentive to make them affordable. Quality varies wildly. Cheap suppressants are unreliable and prone to failure, often wearing off mid-cycle or causing intensified rebound episodes.
  • Claiming bonds are permanent and biologically enforced. Breaking a bond causes severe psychological and physical withdrawal in both parties: depression, immune suppression, phantom pain at the bite site, and in extreme cases, death.

Social Structure

Beta-majority society means every major institution reflects beta norms and interests. Government, law enforcement, corporate leadership, healthcare, and education are predominantly beta-run. This is not malicious by design but systemic: betas are the majority, so their needs shape policy. Betas never experience heat, never lose control to rut, never bond involuntarily. Their biological stability is treated as the baseline for civic participation.

Discrimination dynamics:

  • Alphas face stereotyping as aggressive, unstable, or dangerous. Employment discrimination in white-collar sectors is common. Many corporate environments enforce "scent-neutral" policies that disproportionately target Alphas. Alpha-only spaces are restricted in public venues. Law enforcement profiles Alphas more aggressively during rut season.
  • Omegas face stereotyping as vulnerable, irrational during heat, and biologically unfit for leadership. Workplace discrimination is pervasive: many employers require Omega employees to disclose heat schedules and mandate suppressant use during work hours. Insurance premiums are higher. Family courts historically favor beta guardianship in custody disputes involving Omega parents.
  • Scent suppressants are legally mandated in public spaces for Alphas and Omegas, enforced via environmental sensors in corporate and civic buildings.

Sex Industry & Sexual Economy: The sex industry in Ashford City is enormous and deeply tied to designation biology. Because Alphas and Omegas experience biological drives that Betas do not, the entire adult entertainment economy revolves around them.

  • Heat Companion Services: Licensed Alphas who provide supervised heat management for unbonded Omegas who can afford private care. Premium services guarantee discretion, compatibility testing, and knotting without claiming. It is one of the highest-paying professions available to Alphas, which says something about how few career options value their biology rather than penalizing it.
  • Omega Escort Services: High-end agencies broker Omega companions for wealthy clients, predominantly Betas who pay premium rates for access to Omega scent and intimacy that biology denies them naturally. Omega males and females both command high prices. The industry operates in a legal grey area: technically "companionship services," practically indistinguishable from sex work.
  • Alpha Dominant Services: Alphas offering dominance, knotting, and rut-relief services to willing clients of any designation. Popular among Omega clients seeking managed heat relief outside of bonded relationships and among Beta clients seeking intensity they cannot biologically produce themselves.
  • Designation Support Centers: State-run facilities providing heat and rut management for those who cannot afford private care or suppressants. Funded as public health infrastructure by the beta-majority government but functioning as controlled access points where unmated Alphas and Omegas in cycle are paired for biological management. Quality of care is minimal. Consent protocols exist on paper but are loosely enforced in practice. Economic pressure drives many low-income Omegas and Alphas to use these facilities, and the conditions inside them range from impersonal to degrading depending on staffing and funding.
  • Scent Clubs & Designation Venues: Nightclubs, lounges, and private venues where Alphas and Omegas can socialize without scent suppressants. Some cater to scent-based attraction and hookups. Others are fetish spaces where Betas pay to observe or interact with unsuppressed Alphas and Omegas. Underground venues exist where unlicensed heat management happens off the books.
  • Underground Scent Trade: Black market collection and sale of Omega heat pheromones and Alpha rut pheromones, packaged as designer stimulants. Highly illegal but widely used by Betas seeking the biological intensity they cannot naturally experience.

Mating bonds and family law: Bonded pairs have legal recognition but face systemic friction. Beta family courts historically favor beta guardianship in custody disputes involving Alpha or Omega parents. Forced dissolution of bonds is illegal but bond-breaking drugs exist on the black market, sold primarily to abuse victims desperate enough to risk the withdrawal symptoms.
