- #1Alpha
Keys: Alpha · Secondary: Alphas
Alphas are the highest rank/type in the omegaverse. They are very protective of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Alphas have many things that differentiate them from the other types, ranging from physical characteristics, psychological attributes, and physiology. Among one of the common traits is the knot at the base of an Alpha's cock.
The knot is a bundle of muscles that expand when the alpha is close to climaxing and is pushed into the omega to lock themselves in to ensure the Omega catches. Regarding Alpha females, they lack the penis that their counterparts have, so in place of the penis, their is a retractable member.
Female Alphas however cannot become pregnant and so the womb doesn't exist. Alpha usually have a strong musky scent and sometimes smell of different spices. This scent can induce heats in Omega or arouse them. They are always on top during reproduction.
- #2Omega
Keys: Omega · Secondary: Omegas
Omegas are the last on the list. Omegas go into heats, increasing their fertility or one of the times they can catch. Female Omegas anatomy is the same and nothing unique or special is needed during the birthing process. Males on the other hand are a bit more complicated. Males lacking the reproductive organs females have is made up with the anal cavity serving as both used for natural processes like waste removal and as well as the uterus.
When male Omegas catch pups/offspring they usually have to have a C-section in order for them to be removed. However they can birth naturally.
One key thing of Omegas is their heats, this is a time when their sexual arousal is through the roof and their scent glands are most potent. The reason being is so the omega in heat can attract a suitable mate to knot them. However omegas can function properly while in heat but they experience irritation, high sexual arousal, laboured breathing, high body temps, and secretion of large amounts of slick.
- #3Beta
Keys: Beta · Secondary: Betas
Betas are basically a everyday human with some exceptions. One is that they have a very weak scent, they have one but their glands do not produce it as heavily as alphas or omegas. They cannot reproduce with omegas or become pregnant from alphas. Female betas are the same as humans in our world, they have menstruations (that time of the month) and can become pregnant. Betas can have reproduction with Alphas but when the knot is shoved in they experience varying degrees of pain. Their scent is also calming to omegas and alphas.
- #4Delta
Keys: Delta · Secondary: Deltas
Deltas are similar to alphas but only psychologically, that is to say they are aggressive and territorial. But in the presence of alphas, they are second on command and are the right hand man/woman of alphas. Their is usually one delta in a pack/group. Their scent isn't as strong as the alphas but not as weak as the betas. Their scents can induce heats in omegas but cannot induce ruts in alphas. Their scent is a mix of smells you find in nature to musky smells like the alpha.
- #5Gamma
Keys: Gamma · Secondary: Gammas
Gammas are basically betas with omega characteristics. They however lack scent glands and knots, rendering them immune to alphas, gammas, and omegas scents. They also cannot smell them unless their are give the information of an omega in heat or alpha in rut. However, they aren't similar to humans as they still have many characteristics similar to the omegas. They are submissive to Betas, Deltas, and Alphas except Omegas. They however relate to omegas as they have strong maternal instincts even if they are male or female.
- #6Slick
Keys: Slick
Slick is a substance secreted by Omegas when in heat. It is a very sweet smelling fluid that is semi-translucent. When tasted, it is very sweet. Slick is basically a form of self-lubrication for Omegas.
- #7Marking
Keys: Marking
Marking is where an Alpha and Omega bite at the juncture between the neck and shoulder. Marking is like marriage, where a mated pair essentially mix their scents. Marking is a way for an Alpha to show what's theirs and to ward other Alphas from taking the Omega.
- #8Catching
Keys: Catching
Catching is a word for impregnation. When a person says it they refer to the process of being noted and when the essence of an Alpha or other male release.
- #9Heat
Keys: Heat
A heat is similar to a menstruation, but instead of the pain and blood produced, slick is produced and an Omega is in a state of euphoria. All though Omegas can stand it, it is best the Omega remains close to an Alpha or indoors as an Omega in heat is very vulnerable and very susceptible to the smell of an Alpha, making it easy to take advantage of them.
- #10Rut
Keys: Rut · Secondary: Rutting
A rut is the Alpha's version of a heat, except the Alpha is highly aggressive and dominant during this. It is brought on when an Omega triggers it through their heat. During this time the Alpha is highly aroused and will seek out an unmarked or unmated Omega to have catch.
- #11Scent glands
Keys: Scent glands
Scent glands are located in the wrists and junctures of the neck between the shoulder. However the scent of each person is different, you can never have one person with the same scent or intensity.
Omegas have sweet cents, Betas are calming/natural scents, and Alphas have strong overpowering musky scents. Deltas have a mix of natural and musky scents and Gammas have natural and sweet scents. Scents also are a way of expressing ones distress, anger, and or arousal. When an Omega is pregnant their scent is stronger and has a sort of milky cream smell, giving away their pregnancy easily.
- #12Knot
Keys: Knot · Secondary: Knotting

It can vary in appearance, but serves a calming purpose and dates back when a nest was required to keep an omega-identified individual safe during heat and pregnancy, as it was often built specifically to be hidden. Some still consider nest-building to be part of an Omega individual’s courtship or heat cycle process.
- #15Suppressants
Keys: Suppressants · Secondary: Inhibitors
Medication given to Alpha or Omega individuals, specifically to suppress rut or heat cycles. It can also suppress the fertility of the individuals.
- #16Den
Keys: Den · Secondary: Denning, Dens
Alphas turn the main room they sleep in into dens by scenting the ever-living hell out of them, claiming the room as theirs. Thanks to an Alpha’s territorial nature, their own scent is calming to them.
They are very protective over their dens, usually only letting packmates, family, or potential mates inside them or even see the interior. If someone enters the den without permission, especially another Alpha, the den’s owner will attack them.
When they are in pre-rut, they make sure every inch of the den smells like them, to the point that anyone who walked in would find the smell overwhelming. The need to have their den smell like them outside of their rut depends on how territorial the Alpha is. When an Alpha and an Omega mate, the Omega moves their nest into their Alpha’s den.
- #17Pack
Keys: Pack · Secondary: Packs
A group of people that live, feed, and travel together as a family group. The members may consist of family members or nonrelated members such as friends or neighbours with which they get along with and work together for a greater structure. - #19Alpha's voice
Keys: Alpha voice · Secondary: Alphas voice
Alphas possess a characteristic that can compel others to obey their commands, even against their will. If this is used on a Beta or an Omega, it will cause great pain if they attempt to refuse the order. The voice is impossible to ignore or disobey. Although using one's Alpha voice outside of self-defense or life-saving situations is illegal, there are still Alphas who exert their will over others, including children. The voice does not work on Alphas.
- #20Omega's call
Keys: Omega call · Secondary: Omega's call
Omega's have a special call to their Alpha, it is completely involuntary and causes the Alpha in question to have an immense need to protect the Omega. It is a weak whimper that is expelled by the Omega in situations of fear or danger.
- #21Beta's call
Keys: Beta call · Secondary: Betas call
Betas are the only ones capable of hearing the 'call for help' from a Gamma. This sound is similar to a whimper that immediately alerts the Betas, who will come to their aid. It is true that individuals from other hierarchies can also hear this call, but not in the same way Betas do. If they hear it, they might likely overlook it. Indeed, this is very similar to the call of an Omega.
- #22Contraception
Keys: Contraception · Secondary: Safe pills, Contraceptive

It can be used similarly to hissing for omegas, as a warning when they feel as though they or their pack is in danger. Alphas also growl when they are annoyed or angry. Last, Alphas may growl at their pup, mate, or pack member with a disciplinary tone to convey that they are not happy with that person.
