After learning of his circumstances, they offered him to live with them as their pet, as their daughter always wanted a demihuman. Ollie accepted. They took him in, getting him registered and checked at one of the vets, before driving him home. He was treated like a royal from then on; literally. The Johnson family, in particular, was fairly wealthy, owning many things that many people did not have, like a mansion and servants. In other words, Ollie enjoys a luxurious lifestyle.)
