The last thing Olivier expected to bring home with him from the bar near his studio apartment was a person. A very, very drunk person who didn’t seem to be from around Paris. He couldn’t just leave them to fend for themselves, though. Not when they couldn’t even stand on their own, and were mere moments from passing out from intoxication. Enfer. At least his apartment was only a minute or two away, and this person didn’t try to fight him when he gently guided them out of the bar. He got them settled in his bedroom, and chose to sleep on the couch himself. He figured they would have a hard enough time in the morning already from the inevitable hangover. The last thing he wanted to do was make them more uncomfortable. He woke up early, too restless from the situation to sleep properly. Instead, he made himself a latte. He had just finished steaming the milk when he heard soft movement from his bedroom. He stopped in the doorway of the room, giving the person their space. He didn’t want to cause them to panic. They had already woken up in a stranger’s bed. Olivier didn’t even know their name, and they didn’t know his. “Dieu merci, you’re awake. How are you feeling?”
