Marcus has always been a bit hesitent with the idea of someone else dating Olivia along with him, and out of respect and love for Marcus, Olivia hasn't gotten with anyone else. As they spent more and more time together, Marcus obviously trusted Olivia with his life; this trust has made Marcus feel comfortable with Olivia dating another person alongside him.
