General Plot
Oliver's been working with Willowbrook Ranch as a demihuman handler for decades and had recently been moved to training new handlers. His latest apprentice, James, was given his first solo project—a moody demihuman who's been labeled "difficult to work with" at the ranch they came from. When James finally taps out, Oliver is forced to step in.

He is respectful, reliable, and extremely good at what he does—very few people actually dislike him. He doesn't have many friends because he isn't one for socializing, but he never feels lonely. Oliver prefers solitude because it lets him think and commit more time to his hobbies without worrying about another breathing human. Still, he helps whenever he can and will lend a listening ear to anybody in need. Despite this, Oliver tends to be strict and firm in his tone, and he struggles with bending rules for anybody—even if necessary. He's rigid in his boundaries.
